My family has been here quite a few times and we raving how much I was going to like it and it seems to be in a great area. They said no problem getting in the parking lot and it will be easy to get out of there after the concert. That's until Rod Stewart packed the place!! Despite having the same issues most concert venues when a lot of people show up it's in a great area with a great views just about anywhere. Prices are "Big City " which is par for the course these days but overall it is a great place to see a concert.

Great covered pavilion with open sides with food & beverage vendors to all sides. Parking with shuttle bus is an added perk. I do not think there is a bad seat in the house. Seats under the pavilion are comfy & there s a fairly good amount of leg room. Lawn chairs are available for rental & free parking just adds to the charm of this venue. W/C ADA compliant from the parking lot to the pavilion which is a hike(no pun intended). A beautiful spot with the Catskill Mountains as a back drop. The aroma of cannabis is around but not overpowering and brings back memories of yesteryears.

This place is absolutely beautiful! They have preserved the history of this sooo well, and I absolutely love it because my best friend was at Woodstock and she raved about it!! That land is very sacred, and there's so much respect and care for the landscape. The merchandise shop is great; I couldn't decide what I wanted, there's such a wide variety of wonderful items. The museum.......I couldn't get enough of what I was seeing! It was amazing to travel back in that time to get a good idea of what it was like, especially with what my best friend saw and experienced! All the people, from the staff, to the employees, to the volunteers, to the original Woodstock atendees were so nice and friendly. I will definitely be back next year for the 55th anniversary! What a wonderful place with such good energy! I highly recommend everyone go to check this out! Keep up the phenomenal job of preserving such a pivotal piece of history

I visited this organization during a 2 day getaway to the Catskill. It was a hilariously, yet thrilling, rewarding Halloween experience with my best friend. If you're festive and jolly, I believe they have a Christmas event coming up!

It was a great venue to experience a show. The grounds are impeccable, friendly staff, the sound was great, the video monitors were crystal clear, and there were plenty of food and drink options.Parking was a little suspect trying to get out, but assume that is the case for any large show.

The place itself is beautiful. Beautiful streams and walking paths to get to the main pavilion. The lawns are well manicured. The covered pavilion/stage itself is very nice. Seats are comfortable and fairly spacious. The sound system is excellent along with the lighting. There is also lawn seating available although I don't recommend it due to the distance from the stage and the acoustic quality which I heard is not the best. But under the pavilion, it's REALLY nice. However some big issues. The biggest being exiting the concert. Friends reported it taking them 2 hours to exit the grounds. There is only one way in and one way out. Despite the help of the State police and park workers, be prepared to wait and wait. Tip: park near the exit when you arrive but be prepared to walk quite a distance to get to the venue. Wear comfortable shoes!Another big problem is getting in once you reach the gates. There was a problem the night of the James Taylor concert where they could only scan bar codes on cell phones. Folks with paper tickets were having trouble getting in. There is also no order, just a mass of people trying to get in. They should really set up lines.Once you are thru the gates, it's smooth sailing with paved walkways and a lot of security. Bags, pockets, etc... must be emptied and lots of folks are wanded after going thru the initial metal detector. One more thing... For the small price of $200 you can buy premium parking which gets you a spot near the entrance to the park, but from what I could determine, it's probably the worst place to park when trying to exit. I'm guessing exit time will be well over 2 hours.

We went to a Steely Dan concert, and stayed overnight nearby. The venue was the cleanest and most beautiful concert venue I ever saw! Concessions were above and beyond, and there was ample beverages of all kinds. Seating and view was excellent! The staff made every effort to make our stay pleasant. We also saw the historic Woodstock site and beautiful museum, so impressive! We are really looking forward to coming back, as I hear they rotate exhibits often. Top notch experience!

Fantastic place beautiful scenery, great place for seeing concerts. Of real artists like Wille Nelson, Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp. Bring rain jackets and umbrella just in case. Bethel woods is where Woodstock was I'm the 1960s. There is a museum 5 dollars a ticket to see all about that event.

Hands down the best amphitheater I've been to. Gorgoues venue and on top of it all, at the original Woodstock Site. It's definitely worth the visit for the museum alone!

We went to the Allison Krause and Robert Plant concert. They were fantastic! Our tickets were in section 6 which is somewhat in the middle of the pavilion behind the box section. They 2 large screens under the pavilion and 2 outside for the lawn seats so you can see the show from any seat in the house. The sound was great. The landscaping is beautiful. With wide paver pathes all around the venue. My new favorite place to see a concert!

I really wanted to like this place. We drove way out of the way to get there. Almost $50 for a couple and it felt small. There's a big focus on words and video. So it seems like someone took a Wikipedia article and made displays out of everything on there. Then they set up some videos here and there. In other words, you can sit home and see all this stuff for free.Outside of those things there was little else. Kind of a rip off really. It was cool to see the area but that's all free. I would skip the museum and save your money.

This place is incredibly beautiful. I can just feel the vibes of Woodstock! Facility is extremely clean and there is no bad seat in the house. Top acts are always on the roster and there are some interesting foods available as well as events other than concerts! I have noticed that many of the employees are not friendly at all. It would be a bonus if they were. I am wondering if the admin puts alot of pressure on them. Despite this, Bethel Woods still gets an amazing review.

Have to say the museum here and the concert venue are really special. The contrast in the energy and anticipation from 1969 to today really hit home though. Seeing Carlos Santana and hearing him reminisce was pretty cool. Got a drumstick from Cindy and the set list from the show that evening ... will have that for a long time.

Great venue for a concert. Offering shuttles from lots, preferred parking passes, flush restrooms, lots of food options and drinks as well. The museum was a great added experience. Came back to take my Dad who was at the original Woodstock. Fun time and worth the money.

Always love visiting this venue. Tonight we were here for the Encanto Sing Along Tour with the little ones. Clean and spectacular views. Not a bad seat in the house. Including the lawn. The grass is well kept and comfortable. The staff is helpful and pleasant.

One of the best outdoor venues! Two years in a row we have gone to the Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts. Last year we saw the Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan. This year Robert Plant/Alison Krauss, Joe Satriani/Steve Miller Band and finally Shania Twain. All great performances and good acoustics and great vibe at this venue. You can pay for the more expensive tickets under the canopy or sit on the lawn with rented seats further back. One can buy a season long lawn pass at a reasonable price but thunderstorm with Shania s performance forced them to their cars only to return to a soggy lawn. One of the best places to see a concert - we ll be back!!

Very nice concert venue with friendly and helpful staff. Even from the far reaches of the lawn it was a decent view. And you can sit in the pavilions for as long as you like, even if you don t consume anything. I had read that the walk from parking to the entrance is long, but was pleasantly surprised this wasn t the case (I was in lot E). Probably depends on your speed and walking ability. Getting out at the end is - like in all open venues - somewhat of a crowded mess, but helpful staff is everywhere. Here is a tip: make sure you don t entirely depend on your phone gps if your car doesn t have one. With 1000s of people using their phones even Verizon lost connectivity due to overload. All in all my first concert there was a pleasant experience .

Love this venue! I used to go down to PNC in Holmdel, NJ. Bethel Woods is so much nicer and has a better layout. In one weekend, I saw 3 shows. The music was Fantastic (Dead & Co, Doobie Brothers, & Steely Dan) and the atmosphere was relaxing. I will be back!

Very nice place. Went to the Woodstock museum. Pretty cool considering all I really knew about it was that it was a big concert. Now I know more!
