It's a shame I live four blocks away from the store counter person maybe he is the store manager could that believe how disrespectful. I simply needed to return an item that I purchased at a different location not near where I live. No eye contact. As I placed the item on the counter 18 in probably from where he was sitting with the receipt wide laid out with the item. While he was busy looking at his little bitty computer screen and not looking at me as the customer he said you're going to have to have your receipt he still did not looked at me yet. So I said sir if you looked at me and the item sitting right here on your counter with the 5-in long paper receipt and the color of the receipt is white. Not hard to not see if you had only looked at let alone myself as your customer and my item to return and my receipt that was sitting right there about the same size as the item that I wanted to return. And then he said well I did not see it and I said well you did not look how can you see it. Therefore the other couple of items I was interested in purchasing which he knows, I decided how would I possibly be able to let myself do business with an employee with this attitude and personality. Little did he know not that he didn't even matters I had a very successful Auto part business and repair facility in the Bronx New York as I grew up. More than likely I had a lot more knowledge and experience that he did but need to hear her there I am a very humble person and give respect and thanks to everyone that is respectful. Unfortunate to say I am an AutoZone member with their card. But I had a very sad episode trying to achieve a simple chore for myself and a couple of parts I needed for my car that I just chose to leave the store when I told him that I can't do this. Definitely not my typical self I respect all of hard workers including myself that worked with the public and customers day in and day out unfortunately this time it did not work not on my behalf. I left the store with a sad moment of experience that I did not expect. I still like AutoZone though!

Great customer service... An experienced gray hair gentleman assisted me by walking out to the car to help diagnose and issue... A young lady behind the counter researched exactly what I needed... She was very helpful.

Probably the worst of the Autozones I've been to. It's close by so it's convenient. I'd rather just go to the store in Bethpage. Employees there seem un engaged and slow to help. Expired sale stickers still on items just to find out that it's regularly priced at the register. Why not come out from the back and get your store up to date. I like autozone just not the Bellmore location.

Came in about 15 - 20 mins before closing and the doors were locked and money was out on the counter the young guy working who has helped me many times was helpful as always as I just needed a pair of windshield wipers because mine were used to the point I can t see out of them and it s raining heavily accidently bought the hooked kind instead of pin and upon asking to come back and swap them out for the same priced ones the older woman ( assuming she s the manager ) told him not to help me and that they couldn t do ANYTHING for me and she needed me to get out so she could close her store even though it was only 7:50This pissed me off quite a bit as I've been a consistent customer of that store for YEARS and never been told to get out or that they CANT help me the young man did the job to the best his superior allowed and like always was a pleasure the older woman was unhelpful and combative and didn t give the kind of friendly helpful and happy to help interaction im accustomed to from this location.. to top it off I am unsure if she was trying to close early or not but the doors were locked already and cash sales/ returns were no longer able to be completed a minimum of 15 mins ( could ve been more ) before the official closing time I even tried to offer to just leave them with the merch I was swapping and the receipt and they could run the rerun in the morning so I could drive safely but she once again told me to get out of her store so she can close The young man followed me outside IN THE RAIN to apologize and once again I must stress did nothing wrong and was a pleasure as always and did what he was instructed he was allowed to do. This young man has created from time and time again of interaction a great environment and a get it done helpful customer service attitude that has set a high standard in my mind that his superior is unable to follow OR matchI really hope this was just a bad day for the woman behind the counter and she had an emergency to treat a consistent regular this wayUPDATE: just went to advanced auto parts 16 minutes before they close and one of their reps was outside replacing a battery and the other happily Helped me with the two minute task of getting a wiper blade and wasn t closing the shop early.Maybe I ll just go to these guys from Now on

I just went into the store and the gentleman behind the counter didnt come to help me check out. I waited 10 minutes with him 15 ft away doing nothing. I finally got frustrated and left. I wont be going back.

I came here to find a part after visiting your main hub and having no luck because the part was out of stock. I decided to try this store, remembering how helpful the employees were in the past even if they didn t have something on hand.William went above and beyond, calling multiple stores in Queens & Suffolk county trying to find this part for me and when no one had it in stock he even reached out to a specialist to look for an alternative part and we were able to find one. Fingers crossed it fits but regardless I will be coming here because the staff is amazing and the store is very neat & organized. Thank you so much William for the last minute save!

Michael on Bellmore location was so helpful he went above and beyond he did all the test on the battery and went back to the store to get a new one I really appreciate the service he gave us thank u so much!!!

Wow! Nick, Andrea, and Geo should be commended for their above-and-beyond excellent customer service! I came in just after sunset with a mystery short in my electric system. Each of them was a wealth of knowledge, and were really engaged in figuring out the problem, taking turns coming out into the dark to do battery and engine tests and bring me maglights, printouts from their computer, and a brush for my battery terminals. Once we figured it out, i made a small purchase and was on my way. What a great team! Thanks, you 3!I am rarely this impressed with the level of knowledge and quality of service at an autoparts store.

A+++ We were told we needed a new engine by a service station in Wantagh. We took our car to Alphonso & Andrea at Autozone in Bellmore to diagnose the car for free, and we found out it was only a faulty relay! They saved us $1,000's.God Bless You Both!

Went there on Monday (1/16/23) after calling them and inquiring about a car battery. Giovanni the store manager checked my existing battery and it showed it was a bad battery. I got a new battery, he installed it and then checked it afterwards. He was great and very helpful and professional. I always go to that Autozone and now I know why. Highly recommended.

Andre was truly a delight to work with. Helped me with my check engine light and helped me find the products I needed, all with a smile on his face. Even gave me some great suggestions. Great service like this is hard to come by!!!

These guys that were here, were actually really cool!!! Like both young men were explaining things really simply!!! The older gentlemen that work here make me feel like I'm stupid. Hopefully someone can read this and keep the change in staff!!

The young lady who works sundays was a great help while looking for oil and filter worked with me so i paid bundle pricing opposed to having to pay more called other stores for me was an extreme help and refreshing to see company s with good employees

an older male staff member belittled me for being a woman and was talking down to me like I was a helpless damsel. i understand customer service and wanting to help, but he made it very clear that he thought i was incapable of understanding what i needed for my car. its 2021, lets please act like it

From the sales associates to the manager they have your back!!I recently purchased rotors online from Autozone's website for my 2016 JGC. While installing them, I noticed they sent me the wrong size. I called customer service they said "good luck returning them since it was passed 90 days from the purchase date."I decided to try the store closest to my house.The manager was able to return them and gave me the right size rotors for my Jeep. Now I'm driving with the peace of mind knowing that I have the right brakes for my vehicle, thanks to the great staff at Bellmore Autozone.

I was in and out in no time today after they tested my car battery and told me it was garbage and recommended a new one. I was helped by multiple staff members at this location on a number of occasions and the customer service was excellent.

This place was a pleasure. i came in for oil and a funnel . I grabbed the wrong oil and couldn't find the funnel Two seperate people helped me to get the right oil and someone showed me to the funnels. They saw I had my toddler with me and was more than willing to help a dad in need. I enjoyed the whole experience.

I was at the Bellmore AutoZone this past Sunday, and the service was so above and beyond that I actually can't wait to write a review. I'd been to my Toyota dealer a couple days prior because I had a headlight out. Turned out I had a few different bulbs out. Toyota told me it'd be $153 for parts and labor. AutoZone charged me $22 TOTAL - AND the woman (who was amazing) put the bulbs in for me - AND she taught me how to do it myself next time.... then literally ran off when I tried to give her a little money for all her help. She and an older man with a beard who was the owner or manager or whatever were both incredibly helpful. I hadn't had the greatest experience at the Toyota dealership (that is, in addition to the fact that they were going to charge me 7x as much), so I especially appreciated the generous help. Can't wait for something else to break so I can go back there! OK, no, just kidding about that last part...They were really great though. Highly recommend. -KM

Recently have been changed from a 2 star to a 4. Definitely still a slow store but their customer service has gotten a bit better and have had better success here recently with getting what I need. Hope they keep improving it's a great location. PS the tool rentals are great if you only need it once

I came to autozone because I had serious battery problems last night and figured I needed a new battery. Steven was the associate who assisted me and he was knowledgable, polite, and helpful. don t quite know what s wrong with my car but he ran a few tests to be able to rule out what potentially could be wrong with my vehicle which made me feel a lot better about my situation.

Prices are ok, parts are sufficient. I m tired of going to these places and made to feel like the cleric is doing me a favor. Have someone always at the register, ring me up and let me go on my way. No need to take my address, phone number, ss# and shoe size. I just wanted stuff and go
