Just outstanding. Where to begin - I am at a loss for the right superlative to best describe VBGMC. Denise, my sales rep, is best in class. Eminently friendly and just an enormous pleasure to work with. Thanks also for Luke for a smooth sales transaction and great advice. Lastly to Larry, who runs the dealership, a class act and thoroughly looked after me. They did quite literally everything in their power to make my experience a special one and I am proud to be a customer for life at this point. Look no further - this is your GMC dealership of choice in the NY metropolitan area.

I m always able to book my appointment at my convenience, and there s always an email or text confirmation. I m always greeted nicely and professionally. And I appreciate the timely and efficient work. Vail is a terrific dealership

I wish I could give -5 stars, who do these people think they are? horrendous at communication, horrendous at management, my cars been sitting there and has not been touched for 7 weeks now. I am disgusted with the dealership and wont be bringing my car or purchasing another car from there again.

Alex responded to giving a -5 stars since the 2022 gmc sitting in your lot for 2 months effected his ability to work and commute. My gmc elevation which sat in the lot for service was unfortunately not serviced in time. We dropped the truck off by tow truck on Jan 3 and we were finally called for picking it up on March 6th. Two months of no communication and no vehicle ehich affected our business (since it is a work vehicle). Devon was a gentlemen in explaining the status of the service. But, the woman who works at the service dept (never took her name since she always abruptly hung up prematurely) should be replaced as a sevice rep. The worst communication ever and she speaks with an attitude. Hope I never have to do business with them again. Sad to have to write this review since several years back with my Hummer being servicer this dept was amazing to work with.Just to clarify. My name is Vincens Gjonaj when you look me up. Hope you can get your service dept back to par at best.

Great dealer and ever pleasant and helping staff. I been to other dealership but Vail staff and their service is top notch. Love them everytime. Dealership has gotten very expensive but Vail does a good job. Tracy is very helpful and professional.

THIS DEALERSHIP IS A NIGHTMARE. I have had a Buick for 7 years - but this will be my last. Disgusting customer service, especially from the manager. There is a part I need (due to recall) on backorder, and my car cannot pass inspection - I have been dealing with this for 6 months!!! I pay full price for a lease to have a check engine light on for half a year. When I called for the 4th time today, I was told "there is nothing that can be done and I shouldn't have waited to do the inspection" (which I did not - the part has been unavailable this whole time). I basically was told it is my problem if I get a ticket. It is not my fault the part was recalled and on backorder, and it has been nothing but a headache. I was not even offered a loaner, a solution, or a discount on my lease. I was simply told it is too bad. The manager even told me he doesn't know if I can return the car when my lease is up in February with a check-engine light on. So what then!?!??! Seems like a scam and my next step will be a lawyer if needed. 0/5. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I will be blasting this review wherever I can. You have been warned!

Left car for 2 weeks for service to research intermittent cabin gas fume smell.10 days in, still had not looked at my vehicle. Took back car at 14 days without resolution.Drove the car for a few days and the smell returned. I m extremely concerned that the dealership was not able to assist. I only hope this doesn t lead to a major issue or event for me and my family.

Perfect place to purchase a new vehicle. Luke, the finance guy is AWESOME! He takes the time to help you through the entire car buying process. If you need guidance, he provides it. He made my experience with Vail Buick GMC so good, that I will purchase my next vehicle there. The entire process was like no other. This dealership is highly recommended and was worth the long 105 mile drive to pick up my truck. No disappointments with this place....

4 weeks after I brought in my vehicle because of an oil leak, I was told the vehicle needed a new engine. This would be the 3rd. I bought this vehicle with the understanding, confirmed in writing, that there was a warranty on the engine. During the 5th week, I was informed that the warranty would not be honored, but as a show of "customer loyalty", 20% of the cost of an $ 8,000 engine would be contributed. Furthermore, a storage charge would be incurred, as well as the discontinuation of a dealer loaner effective 28 days, resulting in further costs. Reluctantly, in order to avoid LITIGATION, I agreed to lease a new vehicle. From that point, everything went as would be expected. Unfortunately, now, every time I enter my new vehicle, I re-live an unpleasant experience. I hope going forward, as my vehicle is serviced, my feeling of unpleasantness will diminish.

I ve bought and serviced several vehicles at Vail. Yesterday was by far the best experience yet compared to so many other great ones I ve had there. Luke and Larry were amazing and made the whole process so simple I just had to come up and pick it up. I got all the bells and whistles for an affordable price with my new 2022 GMC Terrain. I ve dealt with other dealers and even worked for one many years ago but Larry and Luke are completely honest, there s no hidden fees, no sales pitches. They give you everything they can for your buck which is extremely hard to find these days. I highly recommend Vail Buick GMC to anyone looking for a great car/truck for a great deal. And the service and parts are amazing too!

Extraordinarily dishonest service representative.Brought my car to Vail GMC to have a sensor replaced that GMC acknowledges is defective. The special coverage for the sensor has lapsed so I was replacing it out of pocket.The service department tried to pull a fast one.They told me that a wiring harness needed to be replaced as there was corrosion on the connecting plug.We know for a fact that our regular mechanic covered the plug with tape when he found the problem.I asked the dealership for a video or a picture. Instead of showing me a clear picture of the corrosion, they put new electrical tape on the part after the fact, filled it with water, and made a fake video of water coming out of the connector!!Hard to believe .It s clear that the tape they put on was done after the initial inspection. The corrosion on the plug is minimal and no reason why you couldn t be cleaned.Also tried to sell me tires when there is still considerable life left on the tires.When we pointed out the spurious video and the fraud, after a long conversation we got an apology.Took the car back from them at the end of the day, and will not let them touch it.They pray on those who are not aware and not able to see past subterfuge and protect themselves.I never write online reviews, but this was so egregious and obvious I felt obligated to try to help others.Be careful these people are slick.

David and Luke made the purchasing process so simple and painless. David listened to what I was looking for in a new car and found an in-stock model that was perfect. Luke explained the payments, warranties, and options in language that was clear and easy to understand. Would highly recommend Vail Buick GMC.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! I bought a brand new Yukon for 80k and the car has been in the shop since, not Vail s. Vail s tried to cover the problem and don t want to deal with it, another dealership is taken care of the issue together with GM. Brand new 80k car bought in 10/27/23 I have driven a couple times and has been in the shop since. STAY AWAY!!!!!

My GMC 2017 Yukon Denali had an issue with the front differential that was covered under GMC's Certified Pre-Owned Warranty and Vail GMC refused to fix it.While I was out of town my transmission began making a loud whirling noise that sounded like it was in the wrong gear. I immediately took it to the local GMC dealer there who found shards of metal in my fluid from a broken wheel bearing. Unfortunately, I could not have them fix it because the repair would take several days and I needed to get back home. When I returned home, I drove to Vail GMC, I explained the situation in detail to Tracy in service department and I even provided her with the receipt from the other GMC dealer explaining the issue. She acknowledged that this was a common issue with this SUV and she confirmed it was under warranty so we made an appointment to have it repaired 2 days later. I dropped the car off the night before the appointment since it was at 9:00AM and it is over 30 minutes from my house. The next morning, they called at 9:30 said my car was ready and stated there was nothing wrong with my transmission. After several phone calls over 3 days, Tracy in the service department claimed that she could not take the word of the other GMC dealer and that their service technician and transmission specialist both drove the car and did not hear the noise, (which was actually loud enough to hear over the radio) and said they would not be inspecting the transmission or doing any further diagnostics on it. She was very rude and said there was nothing wrong with my transmission and that I needed to come pick up my car. When I showed up to get my car, she continued to be rude and dismissive. I suspect they did not want to do this large repair because it was a warranty issue and they would not be fully reimbursed by GMC. I did subsequently take it to another dealer and they reconfirmed that the front differential had extensive damage and repaired it.

Was able to talk to the mechanic that is working on my car issues. We were able to communicate in detail what was happening and that made me feel confident that the work would be done the right way.

Don t use the service center. Dropped my truck off for a recall issue with the headlights, asked for oil change, tire rotation, and fix a panel that popped out on the interior of the car.When I picked up my car they said everything was good to go. Problem is they didn t fix the recall issue with the lights, refused to do a tire rotation, and didn t fix the popped panel. The only thing they did was change the oil and pretty sure they brought it to a gas station down the street to do it.I also ordered a part for my truck before I left that day, they said they d have it in a few weeks and would call me but I never heard from them again.Save yourself some time and go to a shop where they ll actually help you.

Words cannot express how pleased I have been with Drew Fisher. Everyone knows vehicle purchasing is a nightmare right now with the state of the economy. Drew was awesome from the first phone call. He made the deal happen and answered any questions I had. Unfortunately but fortunately I found the truck I really wanted out of state. I was horrified to have to call Drew and cancel my deal with him, but he took the news great. He was supportive and friendly. I can safely say that once things calm down with vehicles I would absolutely 100% go to Vail for my next purchase.

As a current GMC owner, I called today to speak to a sales person and Dave did not care much to help me over the phone! He said you need to come in person. I have never seen someone not eager to help, especially a loyal GM customer. Very sad!

We were so excited to find Luke back with your dealership. We have purchased/leased many vehicles from Vail in the past years. We had leased our last vehicle with a different dealership and did not want to go back there because we were not treated like a valued customer. We were more of a dollar sign. When we walked in to Vail to look, we saw Luke and knew it was a definite sign to come back. Luke is the best. He went out of his way to answer all of our questions clearly to help us make our decision. He made us feel like a part of the family and everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with our experience and have already recommended the dealership to friends. We will definitely be back again!

Great experience from initial review of what needed to be done to completion. Work was completed addressing all issues and in a timely manner. Communication with Traci the Service Adviser was outstanding. I left feeling in good hands with the service team at Vail. Strongly recommended.

Couldn't wait for the payments to be over with so we could use it as a trade in elsewhere. They are quick to roll out the red carpet to sell a car but then give you a song and a dance when it comes to warranty repair. Horrible and nasty service department that never gives a straight answer. Even though you have bumper to bumper warranty they will claim that the warranty company will not cover all the labor and charge you. They have your car as hostage so you can't do anything but comply when the car isn't running correctly. Complete waste of time dealing with this dealership. If you do get extended warranty make sure it IS NOT tied exclusively to this dealership. Get a warranty that lets you take the vehicle to any GMC. This was our experience and want to let others know so they can do their research and not have the same aggravation we did for years.

Outstanding!!! Denise was so honest and never tried to take advantage!! She didn't try to pull anything, and I was very impressed in todays market!!! We did everything by phone, and I didn't get the "be best if you were on site, come on down". She really got me 4-5 different options.

I bought a 15 yukon xl from Bryan I gave them 15k down and was giving a warranty and since I m not from the area I asked them could I servicing at any GMC dealership their response was yes of course has the same credentials as a GM warranty and now I m bringing my car into service at a dealership near me and apparently I m not in the mileage range from the dealership where bought my vehicle ( Vail Buick) to where My vehicle is being serviced. witch is 40 miles and where I m servicing it is 41 miles and now I m trying to get a hold of bryan or anyone for that matter at vail Buick and no one is answering my phone calls I ve been on the phone with them all day through the dealership and where my car is getting serviced and with my warranty company absolutely awful Experience I can t believe I buy a $66,000 truck and I have to go threw this I will never buy a vehicle from Vail Buick GMC if they do not offer a GM warrantyIf you have any issues give them a call and Speak to Larry he s fair and respectable guy that cares about the customers and is willing to help and do what needs to be done I greatly appreciate the help Larry he fix the issue that I was having
