Chris Zaine acted as a selling agent for the owner of a 2000 Porsche Boxster on the auction site PCarMarket. Chris Zaine also performed certain repairs on the vehicle for the owner shortly before the auction in preparation for its sale. I was the winning bidder on auction day.The seller acted in good faith by preparing the vehicle for auction and I, although very dissatisfied with Chris, was pleased with the seller and generally pleased with the vehicle.My issue is with Chris, the owner of Rennsport Automotive Inc.In my opinion he posted auction sale content that was designed to conceal the fact that this vehicle had approximately five undisclosed cosmetic imperfections throughout its exterior. These imperfections were in the form of relatively severe and obvious dents, not dings.In his PCarMarket Auction posting, he chose to refer to these imperfections this way: Seller notes some paint chips on the nose, detailed images are provided in the gallery. There were no detailed images of the paint chips provided in the gallery, nor of any other imperfection. However, the pictures, and video that did appear, were clearly taken in a manner to conceal the undisclosed dents. When Chris was confronted, he denied having any knowledge of the dents, yet they were located where they could not be overlooked by anyone around the vehicle for any length of time.In addition, the seller paid to have Chris repair the vehicle horns shortly before the sale because they were not working at all. When I drove the car home the horns would blow each time I stepped on the brake. After I arrived home, I discovered that the horns would also, blow uncontrollably from time to time.When I mentioned this to Chris and requested that he pay my local mechanic to correct the faulty repair work, he refused and disingenuously agreed to repair it again himself. Of course, this meant that I would have to make a 10-hour return round trip to Bedford hills NY from my home in New Jersey!Although I blame myself for not being more careful, what upset me the most was how dishonest he was concerning this transaction. My experience was that, he deflected, denied, and lied about most everything. During my limited exposure to this man, it became obvious to me, that he is an extremely dishonest person that, in my opinion, best be avoided!

Chris and the crew always do a first class job on repairs and get them done in a timely manner. Highly recommend, not just for Porsche, also other German and Italian marques.

Totally non responsive. They don't pick up their phones. They don't answer email. Good customer service starts with responsiveness. If there were 0 stars, that's all they should get.
