I always get Great Service @ Michael Albert & Son Automotive. I was so happy w/ the service I received, that I Cooked a meal for Mike & his Crew!! He has worked this Ole VETERAN in when I've had issues / problem w/ My Automobile.

Mike Albert repaired the impossible for my daughter he swapped engines then transmissions then changed almost every sensor, 4 vvt actuators, ants finally the brain (ECM) car started right up and has run fine Victoria has driven that Camaro to Tampa fl. And back 5 times and drives to work and back daily 30 miles each way NO PROBLEMS!!! We are so happy other shops would not take it on or over sold the job by thousands. One thing Mike is in pain he don t tell everyone and it makes him ornery but he gets up and goes to work every day even when his feet are the size of footballs. Thank you for great service! Inspected my car quickly. The mechanic and owner were very friendly and professional. Got me out of a bind very quickly - would definitely recommend!

Almost laughably bad, if you like overpaying, waiting for fixes that never happen, and chatting with a drunk greedy/greasy mechanic then sure by all means have at it. This guy takes weeks to do fixes/tests that would otherwise take 30 minutes then tries to talk big game like he could've fixed stuff yet struggles on the most basic tasks, shameful. He'll list every excuse in the book as to why he couldn't complete it. I wont even begin to start on how he treats/speaks to female customers. Its even enough to make a grown mans skin crawl the way he comes across. Snake behavior, these are the mechanics they tell awful stories about. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS MAN.

I can no longer recommend this mechanic. Besides the very rude and inappropriate manner in which he speaks to his customers, especially female customers, he never fixed my husband s car despite having it in his shop for three days!!!! He claimed there was nothing wrong with it and told my husband to come and pick it up. When my husband tried to turn his car on it still would not start. Luckily we went to another mechanic shop who diagnosed the problem and fixed it. We will no longer go to this shop or recommend it to anyone They lost a very good customer.

I have been bringing my car to M. Albert & Son for many years. I like them because they know their stuff and are very honest. Many times I have brought my car in when I thought I might have a problem and if they found there was not real problem, there was no charge. They never try do an up-sell to get me to buy parts or services that I don't really need. But, more importantly, when the car has a real problem, they fix it. And, they fix it without hunting and pecking for a solution and charging for a lot of unnecessary work. I very highly recommend M. Albert and Son for any automotive repair and maintenance needs.

Finding a good mechanic is a hard thing to do. Finding one that's honest as well is almost impossible. You'll find both in Mike, his son David and Dirk at M. Albert and Son Auto.My family has been coming here since we moved to Beacon over 15 years ago. We tried them based on the positive recommendations of our neighbors - we stayed because what they said was true. Their experience will save you time and money. There's no shotgun approach to repair here. They're expert at diagnosing your vehicles problem, fixing that problem - and ONLY fixing that problem. No oversell and no inflated invoices. My family's cars consist of a 1996 Camry, a 2001 Taurus and a 2003 Sable. Mike and the team here have kept me car-payment free for a long time.Here's an example. My Taurus needed a new engine. Something common in that model at that age. My choice was to either replace the engine or buy another car. I opted to have them install a rebuilt Jasper engine. (They are an authorized dealer.) to this day the car runs better and has more power than when I bought it new in 2001. And it came in UNDER the estimate I've been given.If you're looking for a mechanic you need to give these guys a try. Anyone who knows me or has read my Yelp reviews know I'm a hard person to please so this recommendation isn't given lightly.

Was given a verbal estimate range for the cost and time for repairs. The repairs were $200 more than the highest estimate, and took an additional full day. The car was returned filthy (the window had clearly been left open) and nothing had been re-set after the battery was disconnected. The owner is incredibly rude (think Simon Cowell minus the wit). Would not return to this establishment if it happened to be the last place on Earth (which is a bit what the place looks like).

Hard working mechanics and super reasonable prices. An old school garage with a hometown feel. Trustworthy too. Remember, you're only as good as your mechanic.
