Great customer service. Fixed an issue from another shop. Would highly recommend. Not many real repair shops like this left.

Good communication, reasonable prices. They went the extra mile to repair the issue, rather than replace everything with new parts, which saved my truck.

Been meaning to write a review for a while now. I cannot say enough good things about these guys.Super friendly, knowledgable, honest, they complete the job fast than any other mechanic in the area and their rates are hard to beat.I only wish Healy would share some of their lot space with the Lank's guys cause they deserve it.

Service was outstanding it's hard to find a shop that provides high quality workmanship. They have done exhaust work on two of my vehicles great work each time. They will be doing the custom exhaust on my z28 in the near future I can't wait to do business with them the work is that good.

We were in town for a funeral when our car broke down. They were able to fit us in before closing and safely get us back on the road. Their kindness excellent service was a great relief during our time of need!

The reason for the five starts is because I was not given the chance to rate the quality of the work and fairness of the price so, I can't give a fair and objective opinion about those things. I'm not trying to make any body look bad. It just makes me wonder if there is a protocol that, we as customers need to fallow for a repair shop to take us as customersI visited this shop because some one recommended it.I walked thru the door, I did not see anyone at the little receiving area but, a man came behind me and asked me if I needed something. I proceeded to explain to him what I needed done, why I needed it and, I also told him that I had all the parts needed for the repair.I was caught by surprise with the answer I've got from this man( Appeared to be the owner not quite sure). "If you have the parts go a head and fix it yourself"My jaw dropped. For a few seconds I just looked at him I could not get a word out.I finally said "I don't have an enclosed garage to work on it and it is very cold outside. You charge an hourly rate for labor, what is the problem?"His answer this time was even more surprising. "You already did part of my job getting the parts so, do the work yourself" and then he added. "You don't go to the dinner for breakfast and bring your own eggs"The whole comparison sounded completely out of place to me.I said "That is not thesame""You charge by the hour and I'll be paying you for the labor whatever it is, I don't know what is the problem?" He turned his back to me and, started walking away mumbling something with the Fking and Parts words in it. I could not really heard the entire sentence. I said "You know what I'm sorry I bother you. You've been extremely helpful thank you very much"And I left the place. My question is...Are we obligated to allow the mechanic doing the repairs to get the parts needed for the repair?I've been a Handyman and a Maintenence technician doing work on the side for the past 30 years. Every time I'm doing work for someone I ask if they have the materials or if they want me to get them.I charge for my time only, if the costumer gets the materials. If I get the materials, I will give the costumer the receipts separate from the bill for my time. BTW, I'll never charge any extra for getting the materials and I always buy the best quality materials, like I'm buying them to do work for me.The only reason I bought the parts was because I wanted OEM parts "Original Equipmen Manufacturer" parts. I didn't want to install aftermarket parts on my truck and maybe get less quality.I just thought the reaction to me having the parts was out of place rude and no customer oriented at all.Maybe I'm wrong, but I'll say it any way, maybe I wasn't as white as I needed to be to get good customer service. If that was the case, my accent probably did not help my case either. I usually do not give a rats tail about what anybody things about me. I always, in any situation try to be as polite and respectful as the situation allows me to be and as I expect any one to be.I will not apologize for my assumptions due to the fact that I've never experienced such bias rudeness and I've never in all my years felt so disrespected and offended.

This place has taught me that terrible service will stay terrible, and to not expect that when you treat people with respect, they will do the same. You get a gross "boys' club" feeling and the impression that they don't give a f- about your time.I was never given honest time updates, never apologized to for waiting, never told my car was ready, was quoted very high prices and then dismissed when I questioned them, and always spoken to very rudely and defensively on the phone.

I went here to get my car looked at i was told what parts were needed. They told me they will order the parts and get back to me and never called me back with a quote or anything. I gave them a call after a week and was told that they will call me back with a quote and still didn't get a call back. I guess my money wasn't good enough for them, but clearly to leave someone in limbo is totally rude.

Family owned business in Beacon for decades now. They are very good at what they do, and most of all honest which is the most important thing anyone should want in a mechanic. you might not get the sense that they are a very warm and funny pair. But when you get to know them and vice versa, they are something else.

Went to have my wife's ac compressor replaces. They are honest and professional. Also just had my car there for a troubleshoot for my chk engine light. They had my car for almost 3 days trying to figure it out then found out I needed a vavle job. They did a Valve adjustment, inspection and a 3 day troubleshoot for only $221. Honda would have charged me $400 for the vavle job alone +115 an hour for Troubleshooting. These guys are amazing.

On my way from Philadelphia to St. John's, Newfoundland, I noticed smoke billowing from my engine as I crossed the Hudson on the Newburgh-Beacon bridge. Fearing the worst, I pulled over and began calling local mechanics.Lank's Automotive offered to take a look at it right away. I cautiously drove the short distance to Lank's where the mechanic took down from the lift the car he was working on and put up my car. Within ten minutes he diagnosed that a broken valve had caused oil to spray all over the engine block. Lank's did not have the valve, but another mechanic in the area did and could bring it over to Lank's in the next hour. Within two and a half hours of pulling off the highway, Lank's had the engine fixed, and I was back on my way. The cost was surprisingly low.As a bonus, there are a few restaurants within walking distance to pass time while waiting for a repair. If your car cannot be repaired immediately, an Enterprise Rent-A-Car across the street can get you going with a rental in the meantime.

EXTREMELY RUDE, AS SOON AS SHE ANSWERED THEY SAID " WHAT DO YOU WANT?" I SAID EXCUSE ME, AND SHE STATED "YOU CALLED ME! SO TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT?" I am a company in San Diego that was referring a customer, Customer service is key to success, if they answer the phone that rude, imagine how they back up their service, BEWARE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Really great garage, I've never been turned away for service on either of my odd ball cars or felt like an idiot asking what some may seem a rediculous off base question.
