I purchase an alternator for 2008 Honda Civic. I didn't realize the pulley was bent or damaged, so stupid me still installed it. A week later I turn on the heat then the belt started to cut up. I took that damage alternator back then replaced and bought a new serpentine belt. Next day I installed the alternator and tried to put the wrong sized belt on, so I went back again to get the correct size belt. So I'm loosing out on money at work and at this Part Authority in Bay Shore. So Gabe the manager ask why I have an attitude. I left it alone and said it is what it is because part was my fault.

Parts knowledge poor young one not friendly . I feel there homeless. Time to look alternative places. Parts prices are affordable.

Brought in 2 battery's for a warranty swap and the guy behind the counter gave me attitude about it. Telling me that the warranty is only for a season which is bs. That the 12 month warranty was just semantics. If he tested the battery and it tested good I would of taken the batteries home. Yet he refused to do such a thing. Telling me hes onto my "game". Stay away from this and all parts authority.

Called to ask for a part gave all information was given a real smart attitude from the counter person I have a bisness account was asked questions that had nothing to do with what I needed nasty and then I was hung u on I will never call there again very nasty rude. I sold parts for twenty years very sad bad bissness
