I used Firestone for years. Two years ago I went to Mavis. I have never had an issue always curteous and efficient. They are honest and only do what needs to be done, they never try to sell you something you don't need. Firestone told me 2 years ago I needed brakes. I took it to Mavis and they found nothing wrong. I appreciate the honesty.

My car battery was giving me issues during my errands, so I came to this store at 8:25pm - 5 mins before they closed. I was planning on just parking the car overnight and coming tomorrow to get a new battery installed but they offered to do it on the spot. 10 minutes later, I'm driving home with a new battery.Thank you again!!

The service here is great . Did not wait long they checked out my car the same day and the staff was so helpful . Erick helped me get new tires that were in my budget. I now feel safe in my car. Thanks for the help of this amazing place. I would highly recommend it and always get my car serviced here.

They are the worst people ever. They lied and told me I needed brakes and rotors said it would be $700.But what they didn t know was that I saw my car was parked up in the lot for HOURS. So I Took it somewhere else and they said it that I didn t need any of that. The people I am speaking about is two at the front Eric and Tom they just want to scam you out of your money, with things you don t need. They waste your time and just lie. This wasn t the first time either they have done the same thing to a few other people that I know and will not be going back. I am just disappointed in them and the scam they are doing to people and taking advantage of them. They tried to take me for a fool, don t let them try and fool you.

Went in for tires and was greeted with kindness and patience on behalf of Erick and his team. I was unsure of the sizing and brand but they took care of everything for me. All I had to do was wait for a call back when the car was ready. Excellent service from Erick and Cesar despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon.

This morning I came here for an oil change. Eric was a great help. He explained the different types of oil, why one was a better choice than the other and gave me peace of mind with what I was spending. Eric was able to get my car in fairly quickly and I was on my way before I knew it. Definitely recommend this location. Will be coming back in the future!

I recently visited Mavis Discount Tire and had an exceptional experience. Joel, the service manager, provided top-notch assistance. The staff was knowledgeable, the tire selection was extensive, and the service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend Mavis for their excellent customer service and quality products. A five-star experience all around!

This tire shop is amazing and great with customers. Went in a while back and Nick was able to help me not only did he show me what was wrong and fix it but he also told me things to look out for in the future. 10/10 will be going back to Mavis

Horrible customer service! Went in to ask about getting a tire fixed, since I had a screw in it. The guy behind the counter seemed annoyed that he was there and dealing with people because he just started asking information about the truck and my information, proceeding to check in the vehicle, just seeming disgruntled the whole time. I answered all his questions and he asked for the keys, I asked how long it may take because it would mean the difference between me staying or leaving. He snapped at me saying, you re the next one in. I didn t ask if I was the next one, I asked how long because I was pressed for time. Between his mannerisms and attitude, I decided to leave.

These guys are amazing. Their prices are reasonable, their work ethic is impeccable and your car is always completed in the time frame given, as well as them alerting you of what may need additional fixing on your car. This place has a very knowledgeable crew.

Been living in islip for quite some time wish I knew about this place a little bit sooner. Had an amazing experience dealing with Eric. Had new white wall tires mounted and balanced for my old Cadillac, Eric made sure to find me exactly what I was looking for and took care of me extremely professionally. Seeing what some of the other customers were acting like made me feel as if he was not getting paid enough. As for Tommy he operated just as professional as Eric. Made sure not only to take care of me but who ever else needed help. For the two mechanics Justin and Anthony that I had spoke to after the tires where put back on the same can he said about them. Very respectful and professional mechanics both doing great work. Very happy with me experience!!!!!

Been coming here for years & never once had a bad experience. Everybody who works here knows what they re doing & do great work! Erick & Justin especially, are simply the best. Will continue to come here for my cars needs :)

Joel n Eric did a wonderful job fixing my vehicle. I couldn't be more please with their service,pricing,profesionalism and friendliness throughout the process. I'd definitely use them again. I high recommend!

Love this place! Randy and Tommy were amazing. They were very helpful with letting me know what tires to get. I'm a mom of three, they even dropped me off to the mall while I waited. Thank you for saving the day!
