If you have a Volvo, this is the place to be, not many other Volvo specialists in the tri state area other than ridiculously overpriced main dealers. Great customer service is honest and knows what they are doing. They have a great lounge for you to wait if you need to. Mike has a vast knowledge and experience, will let you know what work needs to be done and what needs to be preventative.

I must say, after years of searching for not just a good mechanic... but a great mechanic, this is the place where you want to bring your cars. Mike, if you ever read this... you are the man. Honestly, thank you sir. Before coming to this shop, I went to 3 other spots... and either, they tried to scam me... or sold to me something that I did not need (literally scammed lol...) but not Mike, he literally spent 3 hours methodically looking at what my problem could be and found it. Instead of jumping to conclusions, he went the extra mile and really narrowed down what the real issue was with my vehicle. Thank you brother. You are the best!

Highly recommend this shop, Mike is the best Volvo specialist on the island! Genuine guy who cares for his work. We're on our 3rd Volvo and will always have them serviced here, They make sure they stay running great.

They installed a rack and pinion for me and did an excellent job.I spoke with Mike for a while and it turns out we know several mechinics, parts managers and service managers that work or worked for Volvo over the last 30+ years.Great guy and super knowledgeable.I'm glad I found him and won't let anyone else touch the six Volvos that I take care of for my family.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Mike is the best Volvo mechanic on Long Island and probably the best Volvo mechanic in the entire country. I have been bringing my 04 XC70 to MB for more than a decade and I highly recommend Mike for any and all Volvo repairs. Mike is like an encyclopedia or a walking Chilton manual - there simply isn t anything Mike doesn t know about Volvo cars. He is absolutely the best in the business.

When I first came here I was not sure exactly to expect, and come by as someone who was curious about the place, rather than a customer, they showed me around and told me all the in house things they re capable of doing. The staff is friendly, they re reliable and genuinely great people. Since then I ve gotten numerous things done to my car and they do great work.

I highly recommend this garage, Mike and his associates are very helpful and professional. They were able to diagnose the work required very quickly, discuss options and then turnaround the work sooner than we anticipated. The price was very fair and reasonable. I've used MB Auto on 3 different occasions over the past year. Mike and his team are very passionate about cars and I have always been impressed with the work he has done on my 2005 Volvo V70R. The latest trip gave me a unique experience that I wanted to share. After a week in the shop to replace a fuel sensor and shocks, Mike calls me and tells me that an accident happened. The hood was not latched when he test drove the car, it popped up and it got bent while driving. Rather than repair the dent, he said he would get a new hood and have it painted. It took two weeks, but when i got the car back it looked better than when i brought it in. The paint matched perfectly and you would never have known it happened. He did it right, having the paint feathered out on the side panels so that there was no clear delineation between fresh and 9 year old paint. I was really impressed with the result. He lost $1000 out of his pocket because of this issue, but he was so good in how he handled it that he has earned a loyal customer. How Mike runs his business in the worst of times should give you piece of mind. He is always reasonably priced, recommends you buy your own parts and send them directly to him so it costs you less and is very knowledgeable about Volvo and aftermarket parts that you can make the best decision about the parts you need. All in all, what more could you want from your mechanic? I cannot recommend him high enough.

I took my 2007 S40 here for a timing belt kit replacement and to have an oil leak fixed. The car was done on time and at a very reasonable price (way less than the Volvo dealer). This is the place to go if you have a Volvo and you don't want to pay the high dealership prices, and still get quality work done.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

The best automotive repair experience I have had since owning my Volvo S60. Mike is an expert, and knows about Volvos. His prices are reasonable and he does not push unnecessary repairs to pad your bill. As long as I own this car I will never take it elsewhere. I was constantly being overcharged by the dealers because I was afraid that some mechanics did not have the expertise. Thank you Mike for doing a great job.

I brought my 2007 XC70 which was running very poorly. I read the reviews for MB automotive and tried them. I am so glad I went to them. Mike and his crew checked out the car and assured me it could be repaired. They acted professionally and kept me informed of the repairs needed and the cost. If you have a Volvo in need of repairs don"t bother going anywhere else. I have returned for every scheduled maintance and am always very satisfied.

Mike's shop is about an hour drive for me, but I never regret the trip. My car is an '04 Volvo S60 R, and even though Mike can fix anything on four wheels, his shop is the only place in the NYC / Long Island area that I trust with this car. The repairs are first rate and fast and the prices are fair (almost always lower than I expect!). But the best thing this shop provides: peace of mind

Mike at MB Auto is one of the nicest guys ever! He doesn t make you feel like an idiot when you ask simple questions. Great place for any European car to have quality work done. Bring both my Volvo S60R and Mercedes slk 55 Amg here. I have been a customer for over 8 years and would never go anywhere else. WE have owned our 2007 XC70 since new. It has over 160000 miles when it started to run extremely rough. We brought it to another dealer repair and were told it wasn't worth fixing. I wanted another opinion so I googled Volvo repairs and read the reviews for MB automotive. I am so glad I did. Mike told us the car was worth fixing. Mike and his techs repaired all the problems and went over and above making sure all the problems were addressed and repaired professionally. If you have a Volvo and need help with repairs or general maintenance don't go anywhere else.

Mike and team over at MB Automotive are the best. They get the job done on cars foreign and domestic. They absolutely are Volvo experts so if you have a volvo issue...hands down a great shop.

I have owned a brick since 1972, I have dealt with sales & service at almost every Volvo dealer on LI but, I haven't purchased any of the past 8 or 9 on LI. NONE deserve the business. I currently own 3. I have been having my service/repairs done at MB for about 5 years. Mike and his staff are top-shelf. They accommodate your every need according to your schedule, not theirs. They don't PUSH unnecessary service. Now, get ready...they do great work at a fair price!Do yourself a favor if you own a brick, give them a try. Sorry it took so long to post this review...I'm lazy and don't often give positive reviews...

Mike has great customer service. Extremely honest. Shows you the situation with your car and gives a fair price. I won't be using any one else. Reliable and does what he says he will. He is highly recommended by me

Brought my 03 Volvo S60, which has a lot of issues, to Mike and his crew. Mike was direct and straight forward with his diagnosis and now my car runs like new! Not your average mechanics! They WILL take care of you and your ride and never BS you. Mike also went out of his way to fix small but vital details which he did not, I repeat.. DID NOT charge for! Any other mechanic would have charged me an arm and a leg for the repairs plus all the extra work Mike did. So if you got a Volvo, bring it here!

Mike and his team did a fantastic job fixing our Volvo S90. We are very satisfied with how he communicated with us during the repairs and how he treats customers. His knowledge of Volvo's is excellent and we will be taking our car there for all servicing when it needs it!!

I first went to Mike when I ran into trouble doing at home repairs... Turns out a screwdriver bit somehow found its way into the turbo, shredded it and, ultimately, killed my engine. After towing it to Mikes shop, Mike ran a lot of tests and gave me 2 options a) repair the engine or b) replace the engine. After talking to Mike and doing my own research I found it to be more economical and wiser to replace the engine. This was 2 years ago and I am happy to say my XC90 is driving better than when I first acquired it and has not needed anything (besides oil changes). I highly recommend these guys.P.S Mikes shop is one of the fanciest, most well kept shops I've been in.

we do moving in the summer plowing in the winter so we have a lot of vehicles and equipment I first brought my personal car there which is a BMW and mike and his team did a great job on it at a fraction of what the dealer would've charged me. I then started bringing my diesel trucks , trailers , snow blowers and small engine equipment there and he's always got the job done . hes went way past the call of duty for me many times I highly recommend this shop to anyone with any type of vehicle not just volvos !!!!

Mike is great! He helped me out big time with a new clutch in my C30. He also did a wheel bearing job. What i did not know until after i left was not only did he clean the exterior, but also went out of his way and cleaned up the engine bay. 5 stars no question.

Let me startup by saying that I don t normally write reviews, but this gentleman were so exceptional that I have to do it.I went to M B Automotive in June 08,2020, with a problem that would impede me from going to work the next day. As soon as I got there, they started working on my car till they fix the problem, not to get into greater details.They provided outstanding customer service, professionalism and they were honest.I decided to go there because of all the great reviews they have. I don t regret my visit to This auto shop. I m pretty sure this will be the lasting relationship.I highly recommend M B automotive.They will definitely see me again.

Mike Beigler is the BEST, period. Specializes in Volvo but is good for any make/model. Any service from oil change (always synthetic blend for no extra charge) to engine replacement. Half hour drive away for us, wouldn't think of going to anyone else.

I learned of MB via word of moutg. Mike is an honest mechanic. Brought my car in with abs/traction control problems. He traced it down to bad wiring and fixed it. A dishonest mechanic could have said it was alot more and charged me big bucks. Great experience. I have found my mechanic from here on out.
