I chose Bay Shore Polaris to buy my Sportsman 570 Trail for a lot of reasons.John B. took my call a year ago and was so helpful with explaining everything with the quad I was interested in. He spent a lot of time with all my questions and it was numerous phone calls and e-mails back and forth. With all that unfortunately financially something came up and I had to tell him I couldn t take the quad then. When I couldn t buy the machine at that time, I told him that when I was ready I would call him back only, even though there is a dealer only one mile from my house. Bay Shore Polaris is 11 miles away from me and I went to them because of dealing with John on the phone. When I called John back he pulled up my name and knew all the extras I wanted from last year and said he could have the machine ready in a couple of days. I bought the machine over the phone without even seeing it, that s how much I trusted the man on the phone.Unfortunately after having my machine for only a week there was a warranty issue with my machine and I had to bring it back in. I can t tell you how uneasy I was after a major purchase and having this happen. It was John B. and the owner of Bay Shore Polaris that went well beyond what they were supposed to do on their end and was able to put me into a new machine. When it comes to customer support and service, a mechanics department that s top notch, and a dealer that has your back and makes you feel like family look no further, it s Bay Shore Polaris.Not only did they have my back as a dealership, but John was back and forth on the phone with Polaris to make sure someone from Corporate would contact me and further make things right.Even after having to deal with the back and forth and a month with no machine, I m very happy with my Sportsman, I m glad I went with Polaris, I m super glad I chose Bay Shore Polaris, and I can t even begin to say how extremely glad that John B. from Bay Shore Polaris picked up my phone call over a year ago. Thank you John!I look forward to dealing with them in the future and highly recommend anyone looking to buy an off road vehicle, to give Bay Shore Polaris a call.Thanks again!

Avoid at all costs. When you call you ll be greeted by a woman who sounds like she just woke up, when you give her the part number for what you need she won t be able to do anything for you. My Part wasn t in stock. Asked to order part she said she doesn t know if she can she ll have to see. I m not sure what there is to see either the parts available to order or it isn t. Common parts nothing special. Place is called bay shore mower you figure when you call them they ll be able to assist. Ridiculous. She ll just ask for a callback number and hang up. Go absolutely anywhere else and you will receive better service. Hope the owner reads this. Thanks

I decided to try this local business instead a big box retailer and I am extremely happy I did. They had the parts I needed and also helped me understand how to install them. Outstanding business absolutely one you should consider when you need any kind of lawn equipment.

Needed a simple part for a repair and at first they wouldn't assist me because they wanted a complete model/serial number which was not readily available due to the age of the machine. Then when I got the info, they'd rather repair the machine than sell me the part I needed. Place not recommended for DIY people.

Have been a loyal customer of this location previously for parts and service.Try to bring my snowblowers to be serviced and they said come back in September refusing to take care of them saying they re too busy.This is simply an excuse this location has demonstrated it s inability to remember what has kept it in business for years the small guy.Customer service severely lacking avoid this location at all costs.

This is a real mower shop. I've bought all my new yard equipment here. They set it all up (line trimmer, saw, hedge) perfectly and it's still running strong. Service is fast, fair, and professional. People that work here, like Jerry, know their equipment. Jerry took about half an hour with me recently to talk mowers. I appreciated it!

was told the stihl weed wacker i bough form him 14 months prior had a damaged carburator . was told it was the ethanol in the gasoline. they told me 2 weeks to fix and wanted 200 to fix. I declined. I took it to a CL repair guy charged me 25 for a service call and it works great.you lost a customer . i paid full price for the item thinking it would be backed up with proper service.I felt leaving like a target not a customer.

During the 1/4/18 Blizzard. I had problems with my snow blowerI called Bayshore Mower and spoke with Claudia. She gave me great troubleshooting advice and offered me an inexpensive replacement part as a last resort. Her advice did the trick... Blower is running like a tank!I have been coming here for over 20 years and always leave with a positive solution! Thanks Claudia! AAA+++

I went to Bay Shore Mower intending to buy a mower. They had exactly what i needed. Plus it is a local business and I wanted to but local. While I was trying to understand what I was buying form a person who pretended to be an authority, I was treated like a child the entire time. I was their on a Saturday, I won't name her but she had quite an attitude. Another employee started to help me who was very polite but less informed. I was also told Home Depot was not permitted to sell the same mower. They had less quality mowers made for them, and Bay Shore Mower sells a better product. Guess what, they had the exact same mower. Also Bay Shore Mower charges $20 to put oil in the mower, take packaging plastic off, throw away cardboard and register it online. Really, $20 for that? How about do it for free for keeping you in business? Bought the mower at home depot, Toro 20353 model, and it works well so far. I won't be going back there. Learn how to communicate and you know who you are.

Bay Shore Mower has consistently provided polite service and turn around times that are unparalleled elsewhere. There was a time this spring when they had my machine unloaded from my trailer and in the shop before I got out of their showroom / service counter.

I went there because my lawn mower needed a governor spring. It fell off while going through some bushes. Last year the same thing happened and my neighbor put it back on in about a minute. I was doing the lawn and it fell off. I went to the authorized dealer WITH THE SPRING AND THE MODEL NUMBER. The counter lady told me that I could bring the lawn mower in and there would be a $25 bench charge and that I would have to leave it there. She was of no help. I also had several close up pictures but we never made it that far. While on the internet I found the exact part.

I brought in my Toro lawnmower which needed repair - they identified it was the gasket that was the problem and they would fix it in a week (It turned out to be 2 weeks). Now it runs great. The service was friendly but the communication with the customer could be better. They could've called me after week 1 to say the part they ordered hadn't come in yet and, after week 2, it took me calling them to find out my mower was fixed. This place is an authorized Toro dealer which means if your product is still under warranty, regardless where you bought it, they'll fix it at no cost.Besides repairing, you can purchase or rent a variety of outdoor equipment from mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs. I'll be coming here to purchase filters, blades, and oil when needed.

I brought my Toro self propelled mower in for a new carburetor and tune up and I got it back and it was like NEW! Ran great clean as a whistle and shining like new. Excellent Work and Thanks!

I guess they re living their lives in fear at Bayshore mower because you cannot enter the store there s nobody there to help you you have to phone in your order actually I don t even know I don t know what s going on there I m always out front but there s a sign on the door that you have to make an appointment, used to be a great dealership but I guess fear is over taking them so don t plan on going there because you physically can t get in the store or see anybody there you have to call your orders in,

Brought in a new Toro lawn mower. Less than a year old. It was spitting oil and stalling. Only used maybe 10 times total. I bring it in and they look at it 2 weeks later they call me and say it s not a manufacturers defect that it wasn t properly maintained. What exactly do you have to do to maintain a supposedly high quality brand lawn mower like a Toro. What exactly did I do to cause it to have the piston and valve damage. It seems to me that it s possible that Instead of blaming me for lack of maintenance the manufacturer should stand behind its product. I spent $521 on the mower and it was less than a year old and Bay Shore Mower determines that it couldn t possibly be the manufacturer it must be my fault. I do not recommend Bay Shore Mower. Nor do I recommend Toro products. Complete waste of money
