I would highly recommend these guys they just rebuilt my turbo400 and did an exceptional job. Their service was absolutely great and they did it way faster than I expected. I am a certified mechanic myself just a little naive about transmissions and they answered any questions I had if I could give them ten stars I would! I will be referring everyone in my shop with a transmission issue to them. Thank you Cameron and the rest of the guys you were great

I must have the worst warranty company ever they gave you guys the run around but your turn around time was unbelievable. Everything is great with my car. Running great. Customer service was excellent. We communicated beautifully. I would highly recommend going here.

Don t diagnose, charge for full rebuild then blame you for their terrible work, harness hanging bolts missing shifts worse than before. Useless warranty. Told me upon bringing it back that they couldn t diagnose the transmission due to the obd2 port not working. I changed the fuse that fixed the port. Then I m thinking well how did they know I needed 4700 dollar transmission rebuild if they couldn t diagnose it?!?! How can you be a tech that cannot determine a fuse is blown! I m pretty sure I paid $4700 to have a fluid change and pressure wash. I had another fleet truck in there they did an upgrade to the grounds the harness was dragging on the ground when I got it back. I didn t know that s what they meant by upgrading the grounds! Save your hard earned money from this place; don t learn the hard way like i did. My engine runs exactly how it should. I canceled the check due to my truck shifting the same or worse than before. They don t diagnose anything they say they just take your money and pretend all is well. They couldn t diagnose a fuse for the obd port that s tied to the cig lighter they made me fix my electrical issues before blaming the truck further To the responder, this is deflection because you don t stand behind your work and service and you re trying to make me out as a customer with no mechanical knowledge and justify the service I received. I forgot about the repair bill I got when the new transmission lines you put in weren t put in their brackets and rubbed on the frame causing me a tow too. Just awful work! What about the other truck you left the harness unclipped and dragging on the ground? Is that my engine or electrical issue on that one too? You said you did an update to the grounds. What a joke you didn t even bother to respond to that.In my world if I don t finish a job or do it incorrectly I have to give a refund or fix it.Reluctantly I re issued payment to get my truck out of your hands. I reached out a couple of times even to see if I could get you to do something and you laughed and said to adjust the new kick down cable I put in that should have been something you did. So I shouldn t have had to do that just like replacing the lines again and throwing a new fuse in to plug into a computer. It s not an adjustable cable either, which you replied oh it s just over adjusted from the factory too tight meanwhile it did make no difference anyhow because the internals of the rebuilt transmission aren t right. You could have went old school and put additives and wood shavings in it and done better to me. You re not sorry for my negative experience but rather the public consequences of such an experience.

Definitely bring your car here with transmission issues. These guys know their stuff! I would not trust anyone else with any transmission related problems in Batavia.

Not sure of these guys was on a trip to visit with family and on the way home check engine light on took it to L&L they said needed a torque converter so had it done also they put a replacement transmission in now back home in FL 32000 miles since repairand transmission is slipping was told need to replace it payed 3500 for repair at L&L not happy

10 out of 10! First time at this shop and they were very good. Prices are great and they did great work. I had them change my tailshaft seal, bushing, u joint and slip yoke. I also asked them to look at another issue that only happens occasionally. They were not able to replicate the issue I was having. Instead of selling me hundreds of dollars in parts that I did not need, they were honest with me and told me they couldn t replicate the issue. This is a very honest and trustworthy shop. I will definitely use them again!Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

I would steer clear of this place if i were you. They won't be getting any more business from us or refered to them by us. Charged more than the "highest price" with no validity to why it was 700 more then the worst case scenario. And to add insult to injury...after having vehicle for weeks...which ok...covid has scrwed up everything for availability...our vehicle was scratched all to holy hell. Not only the passenger door down to bare shiney metal...but the windshield!!! The windshield!!! Had two HUGE gouges across the driver side and it continued over the side frame pretty damn deep. There is no way this much damage could have occured without knowing of the damage. The sound alone woukd have been apparent. AND...not done yet ...the vehicle drove yes...hence two stars and not just one...but everytime we reversed...it made a clunk or thud sound. At first i thought it was just imagination so had wife drive it without saying anything amd she heard the same thing. Also...i asked about warranty...this after spending nearly 4k!!! And response was, "whatever the manfucturer warranty is for parts." But couldnt tell me what that was...sketchy as hell and forced us to trade it in while it was still running!!! Totally unprofessional and will be voicing to anyone to STEER CLEAR!!!!!. After we done the work...many folks started telling us they would never go there. Which is surprising they still have over a 4 star rating!!!???I should add...I had to call every 3-5 days to get an update. No one kept us in the loop the entire damn time. Frustrating experience all around.

OK L&L was amazing flat out. They got my van up and running. They were as quick as they could be mind you they had to work with my insurance company which is not a normal insurance company and made every thing harder and longer. Although they did awesome communicating with myself and the company. They are dependable and reasonable. They are here for your transmission needs!! Pretty much almost every other need as well. They check throughly and will work with you as you go. Thank you so much to the whole place including Matt who was my go to guy point of contact!!! They would've even replaced my tail light if I had the part with me. If you want a complete job and want it done right I'm telling you call them I made the mistake of not going to them first and regretted it.

I was on vacation when I had to use a transmission shop 8 hours from home. The shop had to rebuild my transmission. When I got home the new torque converter was failing. L&L worked closely with the other transmission shop and replace the faulty converter. The other shop paid the bill. I did not have to make any phone calls. L&L did all the leg work. These guys are AWESOME!!! No doubt I would recommend them to anyone and everyone we called them to make a appointment to have our car diagnosed and the gentleman that I spoke with told me exactly what to do to fix the problem over the phone and for FREE after the BMW dealership said that the problem would cost me $10.000 for a new transfer case when all I really needed was 4 new tires. It took 1 phone call to fix a problem that 4 other mechanics couldn t fix after having it in their shops for days. THANK YOU L&L Transmissions it s nice to know that there are still good fair people in the world

A+++++ One in a million shop, i mean honest, friendly, professionals that go out of their way to help honestly cannot find service like this anymore. I was 6 hours from home attending a funeral when my truck started spraying a fluid. They took me in that day, diagnosed, and fixed my truck in no time flat. Oh and i guarantee you cannot beat the price i almost felt bad paying so little for all they did to help me. I could go on and on, the owner even took time out of his day to give me a ride back to my hotel while the truck was being fixed. Best shop, best experience at a mechanic in my life. Brought it in for a potentially expensive transmission repair, but instead they diagnosed and repaired a complicated electrical problem on our very old car. All at a very fair price. Highly recommended.

The guys a L&L are top notch they quoted me a price few days later it was done way sooner than expected. Extra parts and work was done as well and stayed in price I was quoted. They came highly recommend and I now see why, professional service, great customer care, reasonable price. These guys at L&L are true professional of there craft, I will strongly recommend them.

These guys are lifesavers! I own a business where I depend on my vehicle. It came in having transmission issues that just started.....long story short... they went out of their way...on a holiday weekend no less....to get me back up and running... within a few hours...I just can't thank them enough...and btw... even though they knew I was desperate to get back on the road... their pricing was more than fair. I have always had the best customer service at this shop. They are honest and prices are extremely fair. This is a great family owned business that takes pride in their work. The one guy Cameron has a nice beard too which is cool.

Truck was towed in Wednesday night after hours. I waited till 445 Thursday for a call telling me what was wrong with it and how much it would be to fix.... no call came. Called and sat on hold for 15 mins before leaving a message. They returned the call 20 mins later that they hadn t even looked at it. Friday waited all day on a call that never came. Shops closed the weekend so no info then either. Took me calling on Monday afternoon for them to tell me oh yeah it s already fixed ..... I authorized no repairs for my vehicle and hadn t even heard from them since Thursday night. Charged 219 dollars for a 79 dollar part, and just went ahead and did the repair without even asking me. Honestly they were less than professional every step of the way (besides the tow driver he was great) and they will never swindle me out of another dollar so long as I live!! Absolutely disgusted with the whole thing and their response to all of this was a shoulder shrug. Take your vehicle elsewhere and save yourself the headache and stress. Zero stars would not recommend at all.

They did a great job replacing our transmission. They seem to be very busy which usually means they are in high demand. Could have done a better job communicating because we waited for days to get it fixed. Also overfilled the fluid by a few oz. But at our request drained some out. Couple bolts are ruined so may have to drill them out but next owner may have to deal with that. Again communication would have been appreciated but they are very good with transmissions even though not the best communicators.

This is by far the best car shop and company I've ever dealt with!!! I had to have my transmission fixed and I have an outside warranty which was a pain to deal with because they wanted them to purchase cheaper parts than what the shop could find but they went along with it and were able to have the warranty company purchase the parts they found at a cheaper price and ship them to the shop so I didn't have to pay anything extra (since they only cover parts up to the prices they find and you would have to pay the rest if it goes over their price). The shop just worked with them and me and did for the last week and actually fought for me and didn't want to just charge to me extra! I can't say how grateful I am for Mark and Danyell helping me through all of this!!

Danyell and Cameron are excellent to work with. The guys in the shop are knowledgeable and get the job done. You never have to worry about these great people ripping you off. We would never take our vehicles anywhere else.

I took my truck there for a valve body. Before I took it there I ask them to just replace the valve body they said yes we can do that. The back story of this truck I rebuilt the transmission. But mess up the valve body. I was running low on cash so I didn't replace it. Put it back together and put it aside. Because I am a crop farmer and I had my crop to plant and harvest through the spring ,summer and fall. Come fall I was still busy and I had no time. I was taking my car off the road do to it was time to replace it. With this truck so I took it to them for a valve body replacement. When I did they told be my transmission fluid smelt burnt and it need a transmission rebuilt. I told them no and I wanted the valve body replaced. They said okay "it will be a couple day to get the valve body in". To me a couple days is two. I called 5 business day later asking the status of the truck. Find out they didn't order the parts. My reply was I am sorry if I sound mad and a little irritated, But come on. There reply was you don't know what your talking about go by your own f****** valve body and put it in yourself. Then hung up the phone. Little background about me I have two degrees in auto mechanic and diesel mechanic. And I am a master ASE Tech. I worked in number of shops. Before going full time at my family farm. And I was always the transmission guy in the shop. Like I said I was too busy to do this myself so I sent it out. And that and that's my experience with this place. Just letting everyone know my experience.

Been going there for over 5 years. Very honest, very helpful, and straight forward which is awesome.It's a rarity to see people in a business who actually are working together and being there to help each other and to help customers. You guy's Rock!!
