Can t thank them enough! We blew a tire on the interstate, couldn t find anyone to come change a tire on a trailer. These guys were awesome. Thank you Jim for your prompt service, and for getting us back on the road!Service: TiresService: Tires

Called Dan's on Monday morning when my Jeep would turn over but wouldn't start. Didn't have a warm and fuzzy feeling when the tow truck operator didn't know how to open the hood! After I showed him, he began jumping the battery even though I told him the battery was fine that it turned over but wouldn't start. After a few minutes, he said it had to be towed. The cost to tow it was $250.00. Dan's had the Jeep until Thursday when they informed me they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, and it would have to be towed to a dealership. It cost me $194.00 for their diagnosis and another $150.00 to be towed to the dealership. Total amount to Dan's was $594.00 and all I got was my vehicle towed to a dealership!

I had a caliper that was hung up and smoking and Dan's towing did an amazing job picking my car up out of the parking lot and securing it safely and respectfully. Transported it to the dealership of my choice without any hesitation. I highly recommend them !!!! The driver was great as I had to ride with them to drop off my car!

I am able to go home thanks to a good technician We had car trouble during our trip and ran into Dan's Tire. Professional, pinpointed the problem, made the right repair, and was reasonably priced. Thanks to that, we were able to continue our journey and arrived home safely today. We are very grateful to them!Thank you very much for your wonderful & great work!!!

Great Experience with Sam and the guys at Dan's Tire & Auto. They did a pre inspection on a car I was potentially buying out-of-state. It's a thankless job and it's hard to find places to do it. They were very honest with me and saved me from buying a bad vehicle with a lot of future expense and misery down the road. I would highly recommend using this business. Thank You. I have been to Dan s Tire & Auto for car inspection for a couple of years now, I needed a battery replacement, called AAA who sent Dan Tire and Auto. They were quick to arrive, efficient, friendly, and got the job done, strong in job knowledge. When I went to their place, they were friendly, efficient and , built my trust. Kyle the tow truck driver was amazing! Very efficient professional and all around pleasant to have picking up my truck! I absolutely 109 percent recommend having him pick up your car/truck! Thank you Kyle!

Dans is always helpful, respectful, and CLEAN. Never have I worked with a shop that was this clean. I feel like that told me everything I needed to know the first time I went. Been going for years since and they will do everything they can to send you off feeling good about your experience.

This place is literally the worse! I was in desperate need of getting my AC fixed with summer coming and Sam (who is no longer there thank God!) was trying to take advantage of me by over charging for what I needed fixed and was going to charge me for 6 hours of labor before even bringing my car in. It was ridiculous! Then he told me to come in at a certain time that worked for me and when I went there 10 min early they told me I was scheduled for a couple hours earlier but no one told me that so then they could not fit me in to get my AC fixed. I work full time and have no time off during the week and I had to move so much around to get my car in and this all happened. I am extremely upset and I pray to God that no one ever goes to this place because they are not kind people and they will NEVER get me as a customer or anyone I know because I m going to make sure everyone knows how awful they are. The end.

While travelling from Toronto to Batavia for my daughters soccer showcase , my car broke down Fortunately it happen 2 minutes away from Dan sShop!I first dealt with Rich who went out of his way to not only fix my car , but showed exceptional professionalism in updating me as I waited and keeping me calm!I then had Jesse and Chris work on the car non stop till they were able to get it back on the road.I recommend this shop for various reasons :Efficiency, quality, professionalism, customer serviceAnd enjoyed seeing the teamwork between themAppreciate it guysRecommended you to all the other soccer parentsSonia Marques-VieiraToronto, CanadaService: General repairs & maintenance

Have to tell you about the greatest experience ever I recieved. Went on family vacation to batavia new york and our new used truck broke down. Chris and Jesse jumped to the task even after closing time. They diagnosed our issue of it being locked in 4 wheel drive set up the computer and reset the 4 wheel drive. If I lived here would always come to them. Thank you guys for jumping to the task and keeping our family safe. You will never know how much we appreciate you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I never write reviews, but they really went above and beyond to turn my stressful experience into something shockingly pleasant. My alternator died late Friday, and I was towed to Dan's after they had already closed. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful, and they really took the time to explain everything to me. The prices are more than fair, and they finished the job early on Saturday. They also could have easily told me I needed a new battery as well, and instead, they were honest and only sold me what I needed.

Broke down in Batavia on a family vacation and Dan's Tire & Auto was the only shop that could check our car that day. Even though their schedule was full Rich called me an hour after they closed to let me know they were still diagnosing the issue. They are affiliated with AAA and provided me with roadside assistance when it appeared I had flat tires due to low air pressure. They were very kind, came out in freezing temperatures. They were quick, professional I would recommend them highly. If my memory is correct they have provided roadside assistance to me on a couple of occasions over the years. Thank you For keeping me safe on the road!

Dan and his staff saved our road trip from ending before it started! We had come from Toronto the night before, and that morning our tire pressure sensor was indicating extremely low pressure on one tire - brand new truck and tires also! Made it into Dan's and they immediately got to work, ordered us a tire from their distributor and had the delivery truck rerouted to go there first just for us. Even recommended a great place for breakfast while we killed the 2 hour or so wait. By the time we got back, the tire arrived, was put on the rim, balanced and road tested. We were saved and I can't thank Dan and his team enough for their professionalism, courtesy and kindness. The price was right too! They even took and provided pics of the screw in the tire wall and included it with my paperwork so that I could come back to Canada and get reimbursed on my tire warranty, which, thanks to them, I just have been! Can't recommend enough. Thanks guys!

I ll try keep this short and sweet.Jesse was extremely helpful in towing me off the thruway. The woman at the front desk was very nice as well! Was originally told one price for the diagnostic check and then ended up being more than twice the original amount. Spoke to Dan since I wasn t happy about that. I told him as a business owner, I would honor a price that one of my representatives quoted a customer, and eat the difference in cost. Customer service and leaving a customer happy is much more important than making an extra $40.On top of it all, Dan s price was 3 times the amount that I ended up paying for the repair. Very expensive, unprofessional decision on the owners behalf. Having raving fans as customers should be the goal of any business owner.

Just relocated to the area and this place was convenient. Had oil change and tire rotation and was charged juzt shy 90 bucks. Thought it was a little expensive but the convenience was worth it. After picking my car up I received a call from them that where they parked my car after a test drive they found a large puddle of oil. Ends up the oil filter was not installed correctly. With some hesitation I decided to try them again. I told them I just wanted an oil change no tire rotation and made a 10 am appointment. I dropped my car off at 9:30. I mentioned to them an engine was on and was told it's 125 dollars to diagnose. I have a repair shop background and know most places will connect the computer to get a fault code for free. Told them never mind. Around 11 am I called to get a status and was told it hadn't even been pulled into the shop yet. An hour after my appoint???!!!. Will never use them again and definitely couldn't recommend them to anybody with a clear conscience. Funny part is if they treated me right they would have gotten to make necessary repairs along with a set of tires and front end alignment. Apparently they have enough business that they don't need new customers. My recommendation is stay away and I speak this with 42 years in the repair business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

A story of kindness and character. My son who is a minor league player was traveling in a 22 year old car to Tupper Lake. I had no idea he planned to take this car on a journey from SC and who knows if it will make it home. Like most minor league players he lives on fumes. Dan made a repair for him for the cost of the part only and sent him on his way. Just a small positive story in what seems like a sea of negativity!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Car broke down on thruway far from home and this auto garage was highly recommended ......the staff and employees were courteous and professional and gave me car details every step of the way.....they turned a stressful situation into a calmer experience......Kristy in sales and service was always reachable and kept in close contact throughout the process and gave out much needed information so I could make the necessary decisions on how to proceed with my automotive repairs.....I would definitely recommend this service center to friends and family, whether from the area or to those traveling who need maintenance or detail on their vehicle. I usually have a distrust of new mechanics and auto centers if I'm not familiar with them, but upon walking into Dan''s Tire and Auto Service Center, I felt welcomed right away and saw the attention to detail the employees had with the customers and the vehicles inside the service center and knew I was in safe and trusting hands. It was a pleasurable experience dealing with kind and knowledgeable employees who had my best interests at heart.

Dan s Tire & Auto was just what I needed when my car broke down in the middle of snowstorm during my cross-country drive. They were friendly and knowledgeable and even helped me find a good hotel to stay in at a discounted rate while they ordered the parts I needed. Everyone from the tow truck driver to the mechanics to the owner was courteous and helpful. If you are ever in the area, definitely go to Dan s!!

I had gotten a flat this morning and called AAA; they sent Jesse to remove my flat and to put my spare on. He arrive quickly, and was very pleasant and personable. After placing the spare on he gave me a run down on how to drive safely with my spare and showed me how to tighten the bolts in case I had to keep it on for a few days. He was a pleasure to talk to with while he worked and did an amazing job!! Thank you so much for your help! :)

Dans Tire and Auto Service has always been very helpful to our entire family. Years ago they helped to make my father's dream of going for a blimp ride in Pompano FL. Recently my brother was involved in an accident and I think they were so helpful with all of the details pertaining to that. My husband has a company car for some years and they always kept up with all our needs.

Best place in town for all of your auto needs. Tires, repairs & towing services. AAA top shop awarded many years in a row. Dan and his staff truly care about you and your vehicles. Extremely knowledgeable mechanics along with all the right tools to do the job right the first time. Many other places send their stuff to Dan's when they can't figure out the issue with what they are working on so that alone tells ya something.

The service I received at Dan's was one of the best experiences that I have had at an auto shop. Long story short, was traveling back to Canada from West Virginia and ran over something on the highway. I lost all power steering fluid, but was able to make it to a local hotel. After searching online, Dan's Tire and Auto seemed to be the best fit. The next morning, I couldn't get the car to the auto shop. I called them and Jim was more than accommodating in getting the car towed (which they have their own towing fleet) to their shop. Upon arrival, they got the car in quickly and accessed the damage. As it became an insurance claim, the wait was longer than expected given it was with a Canadian company. Jim offered me breakfast and coffee. All said and done, they drove me to rental company and worked with my insurance on getting the car back. Great service and great people made this bad experience a little less tragic.

Let s be clear. Our car sounds better than when it went in. But how can each of several visits cost more than a thousand and we be here??? As a medium income family, we have tried them several times and there is just always something off about it. Today we got hassled over a coupon THEY sent us for $20 for a 2k sale because we also are triple a. We are punished because they affiliate with AAA? Any place that fights over a 20 they gave isn t worth my business. And as I said to them I know they don t need us and this won t impact them. But as well, we don t need them. They were convenient. Bummer. We re only two families worth of cars but if we avoid even one car from getting this then we ve done our job. All for a $20. Sheesh.

My family and I were driving and we blew a tire. I had called about 9 different auto shops before I found Dan's. We are not from Batavia so receiving such amazing service so quickly was amazing. Dan and his crew had a new tire on our car within the hour. Definitely would recommend for any auto need!
