I didn't realize they were under new management when I scheduled my MINI oil change a couple days ago. I've been a loyal customer since I purchased my first MINI in 2015 and I've always had positive experiences. Mike was awesome and they're prices were reasonable. I just paid $198 for an oil change!!!!! $65 in labor and then the guy charged me a 4% fee for using my card. When I asked the guy if it was still Mike doing the work he actually said yes. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

Honest and very straightforward. This is the type of mechanic I always strive to find and I m grateful that I came across them. Everywhere else charges an arm and a leg to work on my Audi but these guys have very fair prices and do great work, highly recommend. 10/10

I have a Porsche Cayenne that had a major exhaust leak.I was quoted a price around 4 times higher from another repair shop. Quality fixed it for one forth the price and did an EXCELLENT job. Great, fair, friendly, honest, service. I recommend highly for any auto repair

I never had a chance to visit this shop under its previous owner, so I can't speak to how it compares now to back then. BUT, I have had a chance to bring my Audi in and worked with Andre. They are great guys over there and know what they are doing. I will be going returning in the future.

Should be NO STAR! This place changed management. The shop mechanics are also gone. New management looks like they're in disarray. Had an appt, got there 10 minutes early and the shop was closed. Five minutes after, they opened shop and had no clue what my appt was for. Didn't even bother to look it up on their system or attempted to. After 5-10 minutes explaining myself that gut feeling kicked in, I trusted it and walked away. Too many red flags. Too bad, PREVIOUS ownership and shop mechanics were great. I don't know about this new one. I hope I'm wrong, but so far, their actions speaks louder than words. All the best to you but this customer is moving on.

The Quality is still very good. However, The added charge of 4% for the use of a Credit Card is too much....especially considering that you also upped the Hourly Rate to $130 from $120.Please eliminate the Credit Card Fee.I have used this company for several years and they have done a good job and fixed all kinds of things. They also have kept abreast of future required maintenance. This is much appreciated. The mgr and mechanic are excellent.Services: Exhaust, Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

Does anyone know where Mike and Andy went? Did they retire? Open a new shop? Giving 5 star here but that is only relevant to my services in past few years.

1/26/2024 Need to edit this to make others aware. The shop is under new ownership. The oil change I got was 40 dollars more than the oil change I got 3 Months ago. "Owner" Lied to me and another customer about Mike and Andy still working there. They do not. This is the same place in name only. Totally different staff and pricing structure.I should of known better when they said their schedule was totally open and when there were no cars in the lot. Such a shame used to be a fantastic place for quality work.

This is by far the best shop in the capital district. They go above and beyond. Anyone who has anything negative to say probably doesn't know a thing about cars.Update: New management is even better than the previous owner. Andre and his team got my LS430 running like brand new! Highly recommend!

I have a fleet of cars. I always send them to Quality. Their workmanship is top notch and their staff are friendly and outgoing. I've had times when, during hectic workloads, they have accommodated me and I've always appreciated it. They are your friend neighbors foreign car specialists.

Sold a vehicle to a customer up in this area, there were a few things wrong with it so she brought it to BMW. BMW quoted her $10,500 while Mike here quoted $5,000 for literally the same exact work to be done. Great prices, quality work, excellent customer service and staff. 100% quality auto mechanic!

Update - June 23: continue to use them for my Volvo - just had tires balanced and a state inspection - and now my wife s Audi (most recent was a brake job and rear suspension work). Mike and the team in the garage are great!Update - Dec 2016: Took in both cars for their service - 1st time for our 'new to us' 2011 GLK350 and a return visit for the V50. Very convenient - dropped off both cars and came back in the afternoon and both were ready. State inspection on the GLK350 had no issues - I now I will need new tires soon; which they told me, but didn't push and offered to provide quote when I was ready.I have been taking my Volvo there for the past 3 years for regular service and a few minor repairs - they have always been honest and up front about what is and isn't needed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The guys at Quality Foreign Car Care do excellent work. My Audi A6 was in an accident in March and was sent to Caliber Collision in Troy for repair. After my repair was complete I got the car back and the A/C was not working. I took it back to Caliber Collision and they told me my A/C Compressor was shot and needed to be replaced. It was going to cost me $1,800 to replace. My insurance would not cover it due to it being a "wear and tear" component. Caliber told me "we are 100% sure it's your compressor". I was not confident in their analysis as my A/C was working perfectly fine before the accident. I opted to execute my right to a second opinion. I took my car to Quality Foreign Car Care, they diagnosed it and told me it was my low pressure sensor not my compressor. They told me the total price for parts and labor was going to be right around $400. After they were complete the total price was $287. They saved me money and didn't upcharge me. That screams integrity. These guys are awesome. They also did a complete A/C system inspection for piece of mind. My A/C blows nice and cold like new again. They saved me over $1,500!! If your car is in need of repair, take it to Quality Foreign Car Care.Service: Air conditioning

It is a pleasure to do business with Mike. You need to plan ahead as they are used by many people for service. There is a reason for that. The second to last time they serviced the car the invoice reported that I would need brake work done in a few thousand miles. Months later my brake light came on, so that is what I just had them work on. This time made some additional recommendations for future work. One might be suspicious that they are trying to upsell you but in view of the fact that my brake light confirmed their warning that brake issues were a few thousand miles away it doesn't look like an upsell but rather a heads up.Service: Brakes

The mechanical work is excellent. The car runs better than it has before. Repair costs are high, but sometimes you have to pay extra to get outstanding results. Only a coupe of zonks. The car was in the shop for over 2 months. About half of that time was waiting for parts to return from rebuilders, which is not on Quality. But once all rebuilt parts were avaialbe it still took what seemed like an extraordinary long time to install them and then complete the routine seasonal tune-up services. Although the car was under a roof it was still outside for two months thus was returned quite dirty. A simple wipe down with a california duster would have be nice. When I returned home I had no horn or radio. A simple fix, just replacing a fuse that was possibly blown when electrical work was done. No big deal, just a 5 minute fix but the car should not have left the shop that way. So overall, no complaints, just praise about the work done. But a bit disappointed in the overall customer service experiance.Services: Carburetor cleaning, General repairs & maintenance

The guys at Quality Foreign Car Care were excellent to deal with on both occasions I have dealt with them. I had My Audi R8 towed to them for a coolant repair and some other general maintenance. Repairs were done timely and the one part I had a manufacturing defect after receiving the car back and they did that repair at no cost to me. Definitely will be using them for future maintenance on my R8.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Air conditioning

I honestly dont understand how this place has so many good reviews. My girlfirends rabbit had issues with the parking break. It was disconnected when the car came to this shop, they just had to fix it and change oil. They inspected the car and siad parking break is fine and hooked it back up.When we picked the car up, after driving for a bit we noticed the breaks were smelling bad. The problem was not fixed at all, even after we told them exactly what had to be fixed, they hooked it back up and send us out with breaks cooking. On top of that the car has been leaking oil since it came from this shop. I just had a shop I trust look at it and they said the oil plug was not put in correctly and they were sure how all the oil didn't spill out. As far as the breaks they didn't also understand how they send it us out like that. I didn't trust them at all after this so I didn't even go back to have them fix the issue again, because how could I trust them after that. I honestly never in my life and such a bad shop experience. Never going back and I feel bad for anyone that goes there.

Very professional, clean, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. I recently bought a BMW 325 from a private sale and had some issues. Mike was very thorough and took the time to explain everything to me. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back when I need my car to be serviced.

I have used Quality Foreign for several years and have had Amazing Service until my last visit for a thermostat, serpentine belt and oil leak (which they repaired flawlessly). But they called and said my emergency brake cables were corroded and frozen and my left rear brake caliper was not releasing. I told them I can replace the caliper I asked how much to do the cables and they wanted 400$ to replace them. I told them I hadn't any issues with the e-brake and I had used the the day before. When I picked up the car and drove it home and tried to use the e-brake it would only move one click, like the adjustment was too tight. I released it and my e-brakes were locked on and would not release making it unusable. I called to complain and the mechanic said he had NOT adjusted it and said the cables were corroded and frozen. The next day I put the rear on jack stands and looked at the cables and calipers and the cables were VERY tight and the e-brake lever on the caliper seemed in the wrong position. I went to the adjustment nut on the hand brake and there was over one inch of thread protruding so I backed it off to about 1/2 inch then went back under the car and checked the cables. The e-brake cables and the caliper lever had moved (cable not frozen) I had more free play in the handle. The e-brakes are better but I do think the left rear caliper is hanging up a little but I had no problem with them prior to service. Make your own judgement on what really happened to my e-brakeServices: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

The service from Quality is stellar as well as excellent value for your repair dollars. QFCC stands behind their repairs to make sure the customer is satisfied. When I dropped off my VW recently, I asked for an estimate before repairs were made. I received an estimate as well as options as to how the repairs could be done. Working with Mike and the crew is an example of how car care/repair should be done.

Best car repair shop I have come across! Honest, quick and solid work. They were okay working with parts I supplied, they saw right through the stealership's bogus remmonedations. They were quick and did it at a fair price. Also they humored my attempts to understand how the car really works. Awesome!!

QFCC got me back on the road fast after my Volvo's stearing belt debacle. They did a thorough job, and the car is running great now. The staff there is so friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend them.

Mike gave me a price on an oil change for a somewhat exotic car. From previous experience at other garages I thought the quote might be just for the labor and that the 9 qts of expensive synthetic oil would be more. When the work was performed, I learned (to my utter delight) that the price was INCLUSIVE of materials (oil and filter).I will definitely take my business to Quality Foreign Car Care henceforth.

I've reviewed QFCC before and I really can say more then I already have. That is, I wouldn't take my Porsche or Audi anywhere else for service or repair. They treat my vehicles like there own.
