Had a great experience! They helped me work with my tire warranty company. All tires were replaced on warranty coverage. Took a little bit of time, but all 4 were replaced with no out of pocket cost! Will go back. Thanks.

Went in for an inspection. Taken care of ASAP. Staff called as soon as my car was finished. In and out. I would definitely use them again when needed.April 2024 Update: Repeat customer here. As always, the staff is very courteous, friendly, fair and knowledgeable. Any services I need in the future for my car, this is my first stop...ALWAYS.

The oil change was fine - the workers were polite. I made a 5pm appointment and dropped my car off early. At 5:30 they still hadn't brought my car in. What's the point of making an appointment if Pep Boys doesn't stick to it?

Unfortunately I bought a car from a scammy dealer. I took the car to PepBoys on Sunrise Hwy for an inspection. They are the ones who saw all the problems and took the time to communicate everything with me! They were great and treated me like I was their own family. 10/10 experience. I really appreciate them.

Made appointment for 830. As of 1030 still hadn t started replacing my tires. I asked for my car back and decided to leave. Heard representative tell another person that they only had one technician today. Didn t even tell me that when I arrived. Would ve left sooner. No apology. Never again.

Super shady, just got off the line with corporate. They wouldn t honor a coupon for an oil change directly from their website. lied when I asked about it. Don t go here. Rayon (behind the counter) is a not trust worthy person. UPDATE: went to the store in Franklin Square and they confirmed what I thought Rayon lied and should ve taken the coupon. He s an awful employee.

Pep Boys Baldwin has been servicing my car since 2019...5 years and consistent 5 stars!! . I'm big on customer service (was a C/S Manager for many years) and always leave feeling that I've rec'd trustworthy service. Kudos to all-especially: Abdool, Hemaj, and Horace - appreciate your expertise.

I made an appointment and went to Pep Boys in Baldwin on Sunrise Highway. I was greeted and my car was serviced with on oil change. The staff was friendly and very professional. I will definitely return for other services as well.

"Horrible" diagnostic engine check! Tried to scam me for the repairs over $1,000 on the cooler system.But I had took my car to another auto shop and they checked it it was a minor problem. It's a broken seal on the cooler hose. They had fix it it only cost me about $230.00I know that Pep boys is going out business soon but don't try to scam your customers before Pep boys leave."Bad Business"!

Excellent service and help, I couldn't bring my old battery in so the salesman came and got it out the trunk and also helped to bring the new one out. Great job and a blessing for me.

Timall Phillips signed me in and he was extremely cooperative and respectful. I walked in without an appointment and he took me right away, promising it wouldn t take long to do an inspection, oil change and rotate the tires. He kept his promise! It took just about an hour to do all of the above.I highly recommend going to Pep Boys and ask for Timall!

Very poor experience! Had an older BMW serviced at PepBoys Baldwin and asked for a NY State Inspection and the 120 pt inspection (mainly to get the carfax). After the work was done (needed 2 new tires and brakes - totaling over $1500), I asked for the Carfax and they had no idea about the Carfax. They told me I had to go Carfax and pay. I showed them online ad and they still had no clue. I also pointed to the sign behind the counter that showed the 120 pt inspection with the free carfax. The manager (I think his name was Abdul) came out and said he knew nothing about the carfax, so I painfully had to show him the ad and the sign behind him. After 15 minutes of this, he finally had someone go print out the carfax and give to me. Then when I looked at my bill they charged me the full $129 for this service when it was on sale for $79.99. So the manager said I should see a credit on my statement in a few days but he had no receipt or invoice for me. So now I have to check my CC statement in a few days and going to assume it will not be there and then imagine will have to battle them for this $50 credit. Just a poor experience and will take my business elsewhere....

This branch manager Abdool word means absolutely nothing. He no longer sees himself a worker working for the organization but the organization. All decisions stops with him, forgetting he hired to oversee the running of the organization not obstinate and use his authority to do as he please. If you going to buy expensive tires and less than six months air deflating and the manager giving you a run around every time you come to this particular location. Choose another location. This location the manager only seeking new purchases to deal with immediately. Anything defective with your purchase he give 3hrs and more to assist you. My suggestion to any individual wishing to use this consider reviews it matter. It really matters reviews especially if there is numerous people saying almost the same thing. Many apprentices, only one of the original worker have been around cars for decades the others are trainees/ apprentice and those who have less years and experience around cars.

Had a slow leak in my tire. Paid to get it fixed. Next morning it was completely flat, worse than when I went in to get it repaired.

Terrible customer service, employees argue with customers, they only have one mechanic. I would never recommend this Pep boys services. Employees were on their cell phones and talking amongst one another while customers needed help. Refused to help at 6PM because they close at 7PM. Several people were waiting for services and they did continue to say come back in the morning. Do not come to this Pep Boys, I promise you will regret it.

This place has completely incompetent technicians. Brought my wife's Buick Enclave in for brakes in October 2021 to the Baldwin NY store. The next day I was driving to work and heard a loud banging noise from rear wheel well. Immediately brought the car to the closest place and mechanic told me brake caliper was missing a bolt and wheel lugs were only hand tightened. This issue could have created a huge accident. Manager was informed and he apologized and offered a free oil change. At that point I felt it was an isolated issue.In May 2022, I brought my Chevy Volt in for an oil change to the same Baldwin NY store. Car was returned to me with the interior covered with grease (steering wheel, door handle, seats and shifter). When I got home I saw the exterior hood, door handle and bumper also covered in grease. I also noticed tires were not rotated as stated on bill. Then, I noticed my front passenger side quarter panel was bent out. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the wheel well interior was crumpled up. I brought the car to two body shops and both agreed the car was damaged when it was incorrectly placed on the lift. Damaged is listed at $2100. After 2 visits to Baldwin NY location and 6 calls to customer service I have yet to have anyone take responsibility for this.STAY AWAY FROM PEP BOYS!

Let me tell you, I had gotten a flat an hour before they closed on a Sunday. The tow truck dropped off my car with 20 minutes to spare. I had to take an Uber to get there as this tow company did not allow passengers. They took my car in and got the job done, I was in and out within 15 minutes. The price they quoted for the tire and balancing was less than expected. The staff were polite and had great senses of humor. I am very pleased with the service and even though I live quite a distance from here I have a feeling I'll have my future service done here. 5 stars. Keep up the good work gentlemen..

I made an appointment at 6PM, to accommodate my busy schedule ubering my kids to all their different activities. I showed up at 6PM for my inspection and was told that it would be ready at 7:30PM. I explained to the gentleman that I had to pick up my daughter at 7:30PM and would need to car by 7PM to avoid being late. I begged him to have it ready by 7:10PM the latest. My son and I walked down to get something to eat and around 6:40PM I got a call that my car was done. I was over the moon happy! I was having a terrible day with trying to get places on time and this man made my day! I will definitely be going back for my car maintenance needs!

I scheduled an appointment to have my car inspected at the Baldwin, NY location on Sunrise Hwy. When I arrived, they stated they are not not doing inspections because the machine was down. They didn t even apologize or try to reschedule my appointment. No call was made to inform me either. Make sure you call beforehand or just find another place to get your inspection.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I don't ever write reviews but after my experience with these crooks, I am warning everyone NOT to ever come here. My 80 year old mother took her car in and they took complete advantage of her, stating that she had all of these problems with her car when she didn't. She took her car in to get her brake pads done and ended up spending $1600 on her Kia Forte. When I went in to confront them, they claimed that she needed new calipers, rotors, etc, and that her "tires seized," when I knew perfectly well that was not the case as I had driven the car the day before. Unbelievable. These guys work on commission and will do anything to take your money, even take advantage of a poor old lady who doesn't know any better. Read the other 1 star reviews, I wish I had read them before telling my mother to go. I blindly trusted when I shouldn't have thinking that this was a big corporation. NOT SO! CROOKS!!

Service manager was rude and did not appropriately address my concerns. I had to return to the store multiple times because work promised was not completed even though I was charged for it and there was damage to my vehicle. He did not take ownership for either damage and did not return my follow-up phone call to discuss after he agreed hesitantly to investigate a bit.

nice price tires mounted okApp telling you your progress never updated until the tech parked my cat after completing the work.Have more than one cash register open Lets the clerks do something instead of just waiting.2 plus hours after the car was on the lift for 4 tires? I had an appointment and they werent that busy when I got there. They took me right in and up on the liftDingy depressing place now that the retail part of the store is gone
