K always does a great job with the car, he was able to get the part when nobody else could and had me get on the road again. Super knowledgeable and has a nice staff working for him.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Took my car to get repaired only for me to get it back with abs and brake lights on . And when I bring it to there attention they claim it s nothing no big deal. I drive my car days later the brakes completely starts malfunctioning on the highway. I bring it back the next day and they say they will order parts to fix my cars braking problem and will call me back. 1 week later no call. I call him back (oh it s still coming!!!) nobody ever got back to me . This place is disorganized and not reliable. If you don t have serious issues then maybe but if you want to feel safe in your car go somewhere else completely unprofessional. Honestly regret paying these people Smh. There s other places that actually answers the phone when u call.

My son recently purchased a second hand BMW Z4 from out of state. Not having the opportunity to have it checked prior to purchase. So we brought the car over to the fine people at Baldwin auto service. These guys are truly great humans. They went over car with a fine tuned brush. They shared their thoughts and suggestions, not once saying it needed to be done now, but watch out for these little things. I had them repair all the items they suggested. Could not be happier with the results and the fair pricing. Kerim always does a great job on the cars. My Audi needed both exhaust pipes and catalytic conveter replaced. He have me a fair price and took the car in as soon as I got there The job was completed in a few short hours.

Mr.K is the best, he does honestly work and you pay for the quality of work, he s fast, he s productive and he doesn t scam people. Only place I go for inspections and you should too. Just don t think he ll let you get away with actual problems

I had such an amazing experience! I know absolutely nothing about cars and I am new to the area. I was looking for a mechanic Shop I can trust, somewhere I can take my car and not have to worry about it! Needless to say I found more than I could EVER hope for. When I got there Karem took my car had one of the guys drive me to work! He called and kept me updated the entire time and when I picked up my car the next 2 days! He did extra work on my car and I went in with my daughter who he not only acknowledged but he gave her bags of cookies! I wish there were more stars to give! Exceptional service! I would recommend to everyone I care about! I am relieved to know that I have a place I can truly trust and rely on!

Kimmy is the best of the best; the only one in my opinion that can safely work on exotic cars and give an honest down to earth price without that famous mechanic rip-off syndrome that seems to engulf some of the other repair shops. If you are in Baldwin and need reliable, honest and professional work done to your vehicle; this is the place to go!!!

Baldwin Auto Repair Service is the needle in a haystack or put another way, the Holy Grail of Auto Repair shops. That s because they have a rare crew of super competent mechanics, they diagnose problems honestly with no padding/fake problems & their prices are fair & reasonable to say the least. Around 2 years ago when my local auto repair shop couldn t deal with the problem with my German car (VW Cabrio), i noticed Baldwin Auto Repair in a neighboring town had a sign up stating something to the effect that they fixed All European Cars . Long story short, i took the car there & it was perfectly fixed at a more than fair price. 6 months later, another problem & same result. Jump ahead to right now, Oct. 2022. I just purchased a used 2002 Toyota Solara Convertible. But 4 days after purchase , the check engine light & the Trac off lights came on. 99% certain that the seller dishonestly cleared the error code with an OBD2 Code Scanner to hide the car s problems. So back to Baldwin Auto Repair. Same story. Everything fixed at a reasonable price. But the story doesn t end there. A week later the check engine light & Trac off light came on again! So back again to Baldwin Auto. 4 days later i returned there to pick up the car. Mr. Kerim told me that the problem was with a wire (broken or missing, can t remember exactly what he said) connected to one of the problems they had fixed a week earlier & since i had already paid to fix that problem there would be NO additional charge. Of course a dishonest shop could have manufactured a new non-existent problem. Not quite end of story. i had 1 more problem-- a broken driver side door handle. I was unable to install the new one i'd bought myself. They did it for me, No Charge! If you happen to live in Nassau County, Long Island NY & have Any problem with Any car, you ve got the crown jewel of Auto Repair shops at your disposal.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repair, Brakes

Took my 2011 Volkswagen Jetta in for brake lights, the nice older gentleman takes out my headlight within 10 minutes and replaces the bulb free of charge without even asking me for any money. I went back in a day later to get my brake light switch fixed he diagnosed the problem quickly, I left my car with him he called me once it was ready! 5 stars :) great honest hardworking mechanic!!!

These guys seems like they will take care of you but all they will do is take advantage if you give them the opportunity. I brought my SUV there to get repaired with an issue with a transmission line that they did fix with no issue but when it came to servicing the transmission these guys over filled my transmission well beyond the correct fluid level by 3 liters, didn t install the pan gasket correctly causing fluid leaks and changed my transfer case fluid (with the Wrong fluid) without my permission even though I told the shop foreman no when he requested to do it. They had my SUVs transmission shifting all type of crazy until I got the issue solved that they caused and didn t want to even look at my car after I told them what was going on. Do Not Trust Them. Horrible techs that are straight crooks and do rush jobs on your vehicle.Services: Transmission, Oil change

I'll be honest that I didn't even make it into the shop because of the bad customer service on the phone. I called many other shops and stores and called Baldwin auto looking for a part, they said they had it. When I called again to ask some questions about the part, I was cut off and told "no no no, I'm not doing this. You come in and I do it for you". After this I asked my second question about cost and he hung up. Why would I want to go there and get a part installed in my car after being hung up on? I'm not blindly paying for any parts without knowing the description of it. Very rude.

I am so thankful to the guys at Baldwin Auto Service! They did a great job at taking care of my car! I was driving without heat for the longest, and they quickly solved the issue. Their service is great and the stuff is super friendly!

I had called Thursday morning and they told me to come in. Then, after taking a look at my car they had asked me to return today, Saturday morning at. 7am-7:30am. I have been here since 7:05am and they have yet to arrive and it is currently 8:05am. I lost sleep and time out of my day. I m never coming here againUpdate: it was 8:20am and they had yet to open

Without a doubt the best car auto shop in Baldwin. Not only is the work great but the staff, especially Kim are very down to earth people I always feel at ease whenever I get my car repaired by them
