Complete rip off. Charged $1500 for brakes, pads and rotors. Cheap 12k pads put on. Charged twice for brake fluid change of $109 each. Never go there again. Beware

Had an early morning appointment waited almost an hour for them to take my car in. All the workers were sick and sneezing. It is stopping at disinfectant for my car so I wouldn't catch anything

I had to go to work and didn't realize I had a flat tire.Called and they got me right in.Everything changed and completed in under 30 minutes.Much appreciated.

Lied n said they only sell a pack of 6 coils when I need one n wanted to replace them all n wired for 1300 .my friends shop with 150 hr labor plus parts shouldn't cost more then 500 dollars. Thx 4 trying to up charge ppl that works hard 4 their money

Went in for a pre-purchase inspection of a vehicle and the store manager, Mike, was terrific. Very helpful, good advice, knowledgeable, steered me in the right direction.... I didn't wind up buying the car, so glad I took it in and Mike could accommodate me without an appointment. I noticed they have a sale on tires today!

Tom and his team are amazing. They helped me diagnose and repair an unusual problem with my 2010 Mini Cooper S. Their work is high quality. The prices are fair. They are good people to do business with.

Our first mistake to begin with was taking our van to Monro Muffler, it s legit ALWAYS something with them. My husband dropped my van off for an oil change & NYS inspection. After paying almost $400 to replace the muffler, we bring it home. I take it to the next town over for a doctors appointment, I get almost there and I start hearing this loud clunking noise coming from the front left tire that they removed for whatever reason. Bring it back home, my husband takes a look and THEY NEVER TIGHTENED 4/5 LUG NUTS!!! How are you that incompetent to not tighten them? The situation could have been way worse if I was traveling 70mph on the express way. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

I called to ask if they had time to put air in my tires,the gentleman that answered the phone said yes , very pleasant.I stopped in and before I could get to door he greeted me with air hose in hand and filled tires. I will be very inclined to go back due to the courtesy I was shown, thank you young man!

Tom at Monro Auto in Avon, NY was very friendly and personable. He was honest with me, and didn't try to talk me into a repair I didn't need. They are honest and will be my go to place for any future oil changes or repairs.Update 3/22/23:. Still fast, friendly, service.

I experienced incredible service at this shop. I came in after blowing a tire on the highway and needed to get back home to Buffalo. In the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday these guys got me 4 new tires (all wheel drive vehicles ) and on my way in way less time than expected. No appointment, no warning, I just showed up in a pinch and they really helped me out. Thank you!

I am writing this as I sit watching them working on my car. The service here has been amazing!!! Mike and the rest of the crew has been great. Mike ran into some part issues and worked tirelessly to get the parts that he needed to fix it the same day! Will def be bringing my car here for any other repairs that I may need! Fair prices and doesn t rip you off!

I ve never written a bad review before, but I feel this is necessary. I will never go to a Monro Muffler ever again.� I have had the worse experience and there customer service is horrible.� I had brand new tires put on my car back in December 2020 at Monro Muffler.� When I went to get my car inspected on 2/25/22 I was told my tires will never pass.� I haven t even had these tires a year and a half yet. I put roughly 18,000 miles on these tires, and they have a warranty for 40,000.�� When I researched the tires I found out they should never have been put on my car because there not compatible, and they admitted to this on the phone.� They also said I okayed the wrong tires.� Who would okay the wrong tires, and who would even sell someone tires that weren t compatible?� They also told me the manager who use to work there was fired for this exact reason.� They wanted me to bring the tires back to them so they could inspect them(I also provided proof of tire rotations that were done during oil changes). They told me some of the tires were fine, and they didn t all need to be replaced.� However, the two tires were worn so I could keep 2 out of 4 of them.� I have an AWD car and can t have different tires on my car because it would put unwanted stress on the AWD drive train which can damage it and cost me more money.� They also said they would have passed the tires (they never would have passed anywhere else).� I didn t have them inspect my car because the last time I was there (just a few months ago for a car headlight bulb) they told me I needed new brakes.� When I went to get my brakes done at a local garage they told me my breaks were fine.� I got a second opinion and was told again my breaks were fine.� I do not trust this company, and the reason I m writing this is to help others not get scammed by them.� I feel as though I was taken advantage of because I m a women, and don t know much about cars. I gave them an opportunity to make this right, and they refused to help me.� The only thing they care about is making sales even when it s not morally correct. I m hoping writing this review will help others not go through what I have gone through with this company.

Another great service experience thanks to Frank and the crew at Monro in Avon. I received quality, courteous, professional service - at a great price. My vehicle maintenance was completed while I waited - and was finished in a timely manner. The freshly updated waiting area looks great, and is clean and comfortable. Avon Monro will ALWAYS be the place I go for all of my car care needs. Thanks, Frank - it is always a pleasure doing business with you!

Went on Labor day to get new tires and they were unable as the tires on my rim were the wrong size tire. They did not have any they could do that day and recommended i call a couple local places to get it done that day. The tech was honest and said he could put tires on but will not because it would not be safe which im glad he didnt. I ended up getting tires elsewhere however, their honesty and professionalism have earned my business in the future.

Store Manager was very accommodating: I took my car in Sunday afternoon with a flat tire. He quickly ordered my tire and had it picked up from Rochester so I could have my car Monday. He kept me informed of the process. Thank you for wonderful customer service!

Good quality work and honest customer service. The work I had done was done on time, and as expected. The store manager (Kevin) explained the problem to me, and agreed to save the replaced parts for me to evaluate. Once the job was finished we both looked at the parts and he explaind why they made the recommendation for replacement. Overall I was very happy with the result.

Superb service here. Tecs loosened a bolt forMe that I couldn t get myself and gave me a replacement on the house. I will definitely be going back here to have my car serviced. ToMonroe muffler corporate-give the guys who r working the counter a raise so they don t quit

Curt is the best! They fit me in last minute and spent quality time ensuring I got the best service possible. Great customer experience and I highly recommend coming here. They will treat you like family and fix anything quickly/efficiently! I drive all the way from Rochester because they are great!

I took my van to Monro for squeaking brakes in the back. They called me and told me ALL brake pads and rotors MUST be replaced. I was pretty sure that wasn't the case. The rotors may have had some wear, but they still have life in them. I had just had the rotors looked at by my normal (and reliable) mechanic a few months prior. I just told him to replace the pads in the back and the brakes are working fine.On top of that, though. They told me I MUST replace the hub bolts. They made it sound like, if I don't they won't be able to use them. I was in a hurry on the phone, so agreed. He never told me the cost or warned me of the cost. I paid $6 per hub bolt and ended up paying for 24! There's no way ALL of them needed replaced. Maybe none of them did.I felt the gentleman was manipulative and irresponsible in his communication to me. My only positive is that they were able to take the vehicle quickly and got the job done fast.That said, I will not go to Monro again and I do not recommend them.

Kurt is very accommodating and has helped me on many occasions. The entire team is very friendly, helpful, and respectful. I ve been taken advantage of at other car mechanic locations but this place is above and beyond what you would expect at a chain mechanic . It feels like I m going to my family mechanic every time, and being so far away from home, that makes Avon feel just that much more special to me!

If you want a professional experience, If you want a place where you can trust The guys behind the counter and in the shop!!! Please come visit and see and Feel the atmosphere of being taken care of like Family. Mike and Frank are nice ,courteous and seem to always make time for my needs!!!They care about you and your car needs!! To me that s why I will publicly state this Truth that u must come to know ..Go to Avon ny Monro!!!

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Have a courtesy shuttle, but no we can't take you 1 mile to your office in the freezing cold temps. Declined to have them repair an issue that was covered under warranty at the dealer on my vehicle. Wouldn't work with me or help me any further. No manager available to talk to. Should have never returned after they took a grinder to my parking brake shoes and told me that was the fix to get them to stop running.

Took my car in for brake service and after the inspection they found what I expected. New rotors/pads front & back and caliper service. All good. However I was quoted almost $1200 for this work. I told the sales guy I couldn't swing that. So he "called his district manager" and got it down to $825. Still a no-go for me. Then he asked "where do you need to be?" and then offered to do it for around $650. Now at that price I probably would have done it, but I was turned off that they essentially wanted to charge double that at first. So I passed on the repair and took my car elsewhere.
