We paid to launch our boat and the boat launch is nice with brand new concrete. However, you just get a ton of vegetation all over your trailer. The vegetation is everywhere getting out to the lake. I know it is tough to manage, but they could definitely do a little more maintenance here. I cannot speak to the the rest of the marina's services. Good fellas working inside though.

I have rented a slip here for 4 yrs.now. Chautauqua area is just beautiful. The lake is not busy during the weekdays at all, which works for me since I am retired. It gets a little busy on the weekends with the vacation goers. Their prices are very fair and not extreme. Jamie, the office staff is excellent, very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. She will direct you in the right direction when you need help or have questions beyond her knowledge. Their repair department is great, the only complaint I have is that they are so busy, it takes them awhile to get you scheduled in. They are always working to keep the area cleaned up, and updating the area. I highly recommend them!

Ashville Bay Marina is a fun place! You are always greeted with a smile by all the staff and made to feel like part of the "family." Everyone is friendly, personable, helpful and hard working. You will always feel welcome and appreciated. The central lake location is also a great place to fish or have your day of fun in the sun! Our boat has been docked there for a few years now and will continue to be. I highly recommend a visit! We appreciate the friendly professionalism of the office folks, the mechanics and all the the other hard working staff here! See you soon! Blessings!

I cannot say enough good things about Jamie, Marco, Andy, Grant, & crew. Friendly, helpful, flexible with unforeseen weather, etc. We tubed & had a great family experience on the lake for 2 days. Jamie really goes out of her way to ensure you have a wonderful excursion. Boat was top notch, safe, powerful, and comfortable. Would highly recommend & can t wait to come back! Thank you!

We hit a rock on the south end of the lake and destroyed our prop. We were able to limp our bout to the Marina and although they didn t have the prop in stock one of the employees offered a ride to go get our truck so we could get it out of the water and use their ramp. Everyone one was so very helpful to get us out of a bad situation, thank you Asheville team!

Very nice people, the lady that booked our boat rental this spring was very Accommodating.. and the young man that took payment at day of was great. And the man that went over the boat was so cool.

Staff was very helpful and genuinely friendly from the office to the dock. The boat we rented was extremely clean and well taken care of. Perfect for taking the kids fishing. I highly recommend this place!

Had work done on my boat at this marina and the work was done exceptionally good. The mechanics where knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The whole staff here were great and friendly. The labor and parts were also the best around. I highly recommend this marina.

Awful service, avoid like the plague! We rented a boat for my father-in-law's 60th birthday celebration. Things were great until our propeller got caught in another boat's stray debris on the lake. We had the "propeller insurance" so we thought we were golden. Psych! We ended up getting charged over $100 to fix things that we thought were covered by insurance. Addtionally, the Sheriff had to tow us to a different marina because two boats next to each other wouldn't fit into the tight space leading to the marina. Guess what? They NEVER contacted the Sheriff to get the story straight like they said they would, acted like we lied about what the Sheriff said and we got charged for the tow too! Not like the owner himself would have the courtesy to talk to me directly or anything. A great place to go to get nickel-and-dimed! They were the last place to have a boat available that weekend - now I know why!

This place is the best it s been the best time I ve ever had with my family and I don t usually get along with my family we re always fighting but today was a good day. Thank you so much Ashville Bay Marina, if I could I would give you guys 10 stars. Thank you again Ashville Bay Marina.

Employees knowingly Rented me a boat with a damaged PROP. There employee wrote down on the initial report. Returned early and absolutely no employees no slip to park nothing...Now I my debit is charged 1000 for a prop...they stole from me they rent boats that are not inspected or fixed or replaced.........theft of service........ and the employee understands and blames the owner whom never calls back

We rented from them end of July 2020. When we show up, none of the employees are wearing masks inside despite a sign on the front door saying masks are required. We then specifically ask the woman checking us in to put on a mask for this one encounter and she would not.The rest of the rental was fine but I think this is unacceptable in the middle of a pandemic (and we later learned that one of her coworkers is an organ recipient and is quite high risk). Would not rent from them again because of this. Plenty of other marinas to pick from

We love ,ashville bay marina. They've been doing a lot if work bringing it back. Everybody's friendly and laid back , the facilities are up to keep and the service is right on. Next year 5 stars keep it up guys..

Upon arrival we found the 50 hp Boat we reserved was not fully operational and very old and dirty Dan found us another boat with 40 hp. After taking the boat out we found the motor to be very shaky and the steering extremely loose. On the second day of rental the battery lost power and we floated over to a private dock where they gave us a jump start with a 35 minute rapid charge. The next day the battery quit again in the middle of the lake. After an argument with the marina where they blamed me for leaving something on in the boat they agreed to send help We waited for over an hour floating until help arrived they replaced the battery after testing the the battery in the boat and determining it was shot.For the next three days after the starter battery was replaced the trolling motor did not work. The trolling motor was one of the mainreasons we rented the boat from them. Then on day 4 the engine quit with the fuel gauge showing 1/2 full. We had to be towed to another marina as our calls to Ashville went to an answering machine and no one returned our call (ever). After refilling boat with gas it started againAfter these issues we ended up not night fishing due to the unreliability of the boat We returned. The boat early due to potential weather and concern it would strand us again on the way back to marina in a storm When we returned the boat and informed the manager of the additional issue she told me they never have problems with that boat. She then told me I should have called I showed her the date and time on my cell where we called them This is the same person who told me the battery issue was my fault as I sat in the middle of the lake and the same marina that never returned a called from a stranded renter. She did not care about the issues at the time I called earlier why would waste time and call again. Agter explaining issues she gave no indication anything would be fixed for the next renter. Recommend avoiding Ashville Marina until they get their act together

We are so very grateful to Ashville Bay Marina (Grant) for helping us out in a tough situation! We were on vacation for 5 days up Chautauqua when we were unable to get gas into our outboard motor on our fishing boat. We pulled into their marina and Grant immediately took care of us. The guys went out of their way on a busy day to make sure we could get back on the lake! Highly Recommend! PS. We originally stopped at Smith Boys Marina and they had no time or wish to help us, told us no way we can take a look, come back in a week!

Amazing place great and friendly employees and staff. Very knowledgeable about boats as well as rules and regulations while out. Gas up service and beautiful sunsets. Crazy fishing. !!! Good times!!!!

Don't know what they are doing do not have your boat worked on here you will get a bad job that takes to long and get charge new price for used parts
