I work at the Sunoco on the Eastbound side. The rest area itself is closed but we are open and have sandwiches, snacks, cold drinks, candy, meds, smokes and chew, and friendly faces! There are porta potties available also!

I used to love this rest area because of the great restaurants and the piano. But now with a little dog it s not fun.It s a bit of a walk to the bathrooms and restaurants. There s an information center between the bathrooms. I did not see any gender neutral or family bathrooms but I was in a hurry to get back to my little dog on the other side of the walkway. The bathrooms are clean. They have both hot air hand dryers and paper towels. They have automatic flush and many hooks for hanging bags and jackets in the stall. The toilet paper was good and well stocked. There are also vending machines. The gas station is easy to access. No hand sanitizer available. One of the paper towel holders had towels in it.

Great service plaza. They have multiple restaurants, cafes and stores in the building and they are all open. Restrooms were spacious and clean. You enter the building and then walk across a long covered walkway over the highway. There are vending machines too. There is also a Sunoco Gas Station that had reasonable prices.

This place is closing down for refurbishing which it needs. The gas station on both sides will remain open during the closure.Bathrooms were clean which was what was needed most.Loss of the McDonald's was definetly felt

This is the STANDARD for travel plazas, as it features a pedestrian overpass connecting both sides of the interstate. The food court is spacious with several franchises featured. The bathrooms are clean and sizable. There are vending machines and retail stores selling refreshments, foodstuffs and knickknacks. Outside the travel plaza is a plaque about Western New York's history. There are water fountains of varying sizes for adults and young children. Parking is plentiful and uncomplicated.

This used to be a booming rest stop but it is nothing but a bathroom and gas station stop now. They took all of the restaurants out, it's like a ghost town in there. They don't even sell souvenirs anymore. Really disappointed. Hope this is a transitional thing. We used to love this stop on our road trips.

A great place for 4 - 18 wheelers to stop, rest, use bathroom, grab hot food and gas up. This place is located Halfway between Erie, PA and the Niagra Falls Rainbow Bridge crossing from NY into Ontario, Canada on I-90. There is a covered cross walk that goes directly over the interstate where you can see all the cars and truck drive right under. Truckers honk their horns when you wave at them. Flags are flown halfmast in honor of Queen Elizabeth who passed yesterday. There is McDonald's, Cinnabon, Subway, Aunt Annie's, a pizza place, Moe's and Niagra Falls info center. Huge men and women's restrooms with many stalls.

Place is under remodel. No food. No vending. Nothing but the gift shop with limited food. Very limited. Worse than a gas station. If you don't have to stop, don't. Keep going and take an exitEdit Sept 28th. No food. No restrooms. Just gas. No parking. Avoid at all costs. Go somewhere else. Go anywhere else

I stopped in for gas and a bathroom break to find it was closed except the gas station. They had port-a potties but think that maybe they could add a few more???? I think if I remember correctly I seen like 3! Only 3 for how many people stop in there! Lmao!

Very cool rest area bc of the bridge over the Hwy. One convenient store open inside, multiple closed restaurants. It's weird bc it is a huge place, and there's tons of ppl there.

Travel Plazas, Rest Areas are always exciting to stop by, especially in US. They are very relaxing after long drives. Have coffee, tea, snack or a meal, pick up travel magazines, get hotel and tourist information, use rest rooms. Angola The plaza is one such place. We always stop at this location. There are at least four Restaurants including McDonald, subway, a kiosk, gift shops. Good place for a quick stop and bathroom break. Huge parking lot, gas station.

A little run down. Bet it was glorious in its prime. A little confusing as to where restrooms are- use the pedestrian bridge (which is really cool). Restrooms were clean. Store and food were a little bare bones.

A couple restaurants was closed at 3pm on a Friday, but McDonald's, Subway, and Moe's was open.

On our drive out and back from Illinois this travel plaza is great. The walkway across I90 can be entertaining and is a great way to stretch the legs after hours of driving. Clean with lots of information on things to do in the area.

EDIT: 17 months laterWelp, I finally won the lottery. Unfortunately all my winnings were wiped out by tetanus treatments :(There are now a negative amount of restaurants here, meaning you have to give THEM food! I had to pay up 3 chocolate chip cookies just to use the restroom. Thanks, Brandon! The pottys are all gloopen globbened up with some sort of begula blahpen, and the restroom smelled like it knew its own worst enemy was coming and it lit the worst Yankee Candle scent imaginable.McDonald s was open but only if you wanted to cook the food yourself. They don t teach you how to make a Big Mac in school! Never felt like a bigger fool in my life. RIDICULOUS! Vegan options weren t labeled and my girlfriend probably violated her religious beliefs :(It s only 1:30 PM on a Monday and it s safe to say my week is already ruined.Reasonable gas prices.

Huge bathrooms surprisingly decently cleaned. Prices are high due to the location, so I'd wait until an exit comes up if you're looking for warm food. Only 1 facility was open when we stopped by, which was between 4:00pm and 5:00pm which I'd think being the middle of the day would have been a good time to have more options. (Update: just found out they are remodeling)

This a unique travel plaza. It is located in the median with a indoor bridge connecting both sides of the thruway. Something kids definitely enjoy. Along with the gas station located in the parking lot there are various dining options as well as restrooms inside.

Interesting place to go. McDonald's, and MOE'S, small souvenir shop, restroom facility. Has a pedestrian crossover bridge that goes over the highway

Standard travel plaza that features a unique pedestrian bridge that connects both directions of the Thruway to a central rest area. This rest stop had the largest selection of restaurants I have seen on the Thruway. Give different places to eat at, such as Moe's, McDonald's, Cinnabon and more.

The photos that I shared was taken while standing in the corridor that takes you to the business's located at the Angola travel plaza. The corridor actually crosses above the interstate highway and you can look down and enjoy watching traffic buzz by under your feet.

One of my favorite New York State Thruway rest stops! What a unique location, can you stop to stretch your legs and use the self-contained walkways (North and Southbound) that runs over the top of the Thruway to get to your restrooms and restaurants (and there are plenty to choose from here). If you have children they are going to love this place!

McDonald's open 24hrs. Lots of other food options, Cinnabon, aunti Annie's pretzels, Moe's southwest. Bathrooms as clean as you can hope for in a busy rest area. Real neat view as you take the bridge over the highway. Try to get the truckers to honk at you. Things are a bit pricey, but on the thruway you don't have alot of options.

3 out of 4 hand dryers in the ladies restroom did not work! Otherwise okay roadside stop on the way back to Canada. Really like the pedestrian bridge above the highway.

My family and me stop here every year on our annual trip to visit relatives in Ohio. I remember as a kid watching the cars go on the road under me on the footbridge over the thruway. There is many places to eat and a player piano. Best rest stop on New York thru-way

This is a unique rest stop. It's between the east and west bound interstate lanes. It does have handicapped parking and ramps. But that doesn't make it convent. It is a long walk up the ramps then down long halls before you even get to the restrooms or food court.
