I was looking for a dependable (used) vehicle & approximately 2 weeks ago I stumbled upon one at this dealership. I want to be very clear, it was NOT a Land Rover. Regardless, I was treated as a first class customer. The whole team is amazing but I worked with David from Sales, Chris the Sales Manager, & Brandon from Finance. From start to finish, the entire transaction was smooth.I also want to add there were minor paint issues I noticed prior to my purchase. Chris could have said the vehicle is as is but he didn t. Instead, he had it repaired free of charge! Thank you to all who took part in this sale. I appreciate the great customer service.Shout out to Steve from Parts who helped secure my front plate!

We just recently purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee L from Land Rover of Albany and had the best car buying experience ever! We worked with Julie from sales and she was very professional and fun to work with, really made the whole car buying experience EASY! She also made it very accommodating for our one year old daughter with snacks and drinks!We also worked with Brandon in finance who was very fast and efficient at getting everything we needed to seal the deal on our new car!We absolutely loved our experience at Land Rover of Albany and would recommend this dealership to anyone!

We recently purchased a car from Mike at Land Rover Albany and were incredibly appreciative of how easy they made it. From start to finish, Mike was supportive of what we wanted. We never felt pressured to buy, we were given good guidance, and felt taken care of. Easiest car purchase ever...and we got a beautiful car!

Highly Recommend! Christopher and Brian were amazing. They were able to secure the 2024 Evoque with all the specifications I had asked for. They were easy to work with and really went above and beyond to secure the financing I desired. They also kept me well informed along the way about timing and next steps. It was a pleasure working with both of these guys and I would highly recommend him. This dealership is top notch, from Service to Sales. This was my 3rd purchase, but not my last!

He was super knowledgeable about the car (which sounds like a given but at other dealerships this was absolutely not the case) and was very responsive to our calls and text communication throughout the process. Jeanne was great! Her communication and updates on our car were timely and appreciated. Her follow-up call to make sure everything was working was very impressive! The service team did the best they could despite having the parts delayed for quite some time. As soon as the parts arrived they were quick to get them installed for us!

I ve recently had the pleasure of doing repeat business with Land Rover Albany, and I couldn t be happier with the experience! From Exceptional Customer Service provided by Julie Law, Todd Carey and their Business Manager Brandon Talar to their wide selection of vehicles, every interaction has been smooth and enjoyable. Their service department has been truly exceptional as well. I Highly recommend them for anyone in search of a reliable and friendly car dealer!

I recently had my Range Rover Velar serviced at Land Rover Albany. Rick and Tyler in Service did an excellent job coordinating with me and providing a loaner vehicle. I've seen a lot of improvements with the dealership since McGovern has taken over as the owner. I would highly recommend Julie in Sales and Rick/Tyler in Service.

Took my Range Rover for service - the past experience (April 2022) was very bad as got a service appointment after nearly 2 months when called and that too, without a loaner for the day. Manufacturer certified technician could not even find the cause of the problem and returned the car without fixing but charged full labor. But this time, the service advisor changed and probably new technician. Tyler Hess is new service advisor but provided excellent service and even the service manager has been very supportive. Online service appointment page does not work as there is never a date available. So, drove in and got the appointment within the week. Later on, I was even given a loaner. For whatever reason, the car took more than 1 week to be fixed even though initial assessment was same day. But with loaner with me, that was never a problem. The car has been fixed to my satisfaction so far. I recommend this dealer service and the advisor both - five star rating from me.

Wonderful service, I messed up and was a day early for my oil change. Not a problem! They still took my car in and had me back on the road in no time. Throughout the visit the service advisor kept me aware of my vehicles status. Once finished the detailers did a great job of cleaning my winter filthy car out!

Last week, my Range Rover Sport was overheating on my way to Albany from NJ. Without an appointment I went to the Land Rover Dealership on New Karner Rd in Albany. The service professional Tyler coordinated with the Service manager to have my car check immediately. Upon pressure testing my Radiator, they discovered damaged coils. Tyler had the exact radiator in stock and prioritized my repair. I was back on the road in 2hrs. Tyler saved the day.. Very grateful.I'm a proud Range Rover owner for the past 20 years.SincerelyMike Ryan

Just took delivery of a beautiful 2023 Land Rover Defender and the entire experience with Land Rover Albany has been outstanding! It was a pleasure to work with Julie Moroney Law and the rest of the team, including Brandon Talar; they were never pushy about anything and were always very communicative and responsive to our questions or concerns. We worked long distance to complete the purchase and they made sure everything went smoothly from all the details of the paperwork to shipment and delivery. We couldn t be happier with our Defender thank you Julie and Land Rover Albany!! I would definitely purchase from them again and recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Land Rover (or Jaguar) ask for Julie, she s amazing!!

I normally don t take the time to write reviews, but these guys took care of me so well I felt compelled to. I ve been to this location multiple times in the past. I have had absolute regrets to the point where I had been travelling down to Land Rover White Plains. The new ownership is extraordinary to previous. Yohan, the sales manager and Stephen, the salesman were exceptional the minute we walked in through the door. They were not pushy at all. They were available for any further questions we had through the whole process. Every concern was addressed. They went above and beyond. Their service manager, Rick reached out multiple times as well. He was great to deal with. Lastly, their finance manager, Brandon, was thorough. The whole process from start to finish was top notch. Highly recommend this group!!

Zero stars. I bought a 2016 Range Rover Discovery Sport in December 2021 in TX. I temporarily lived north of Albany, NY starting January 2022. I brought my car here on 3/1/2023 for a check-up after driving from TX and I noticed a cover on one of my back lights was loose. Of course this was not fixable and needed a part that I had to pay ~$500 ahead of time since it was a special order. I informed the staff member that I was not living in NY for much longer (I was in the process of moving to MD for work) but he said it should be there within 4 weeks. Well, 2 months go by and I never received a call and bought a house in MD. Since June 2023 I contacted Land Rover NUMEROUS times via phone, messages, emails, and even a google review saying I either need a refund and/or the order canceled since it was not in yet. I get a call late January 2024 that my part is in and to call to schedule it to get installed. Ummmm, what?! After some phone tag, I get a voicemail that the part actually arrived in March 2023. I never received any call about this (I didn't move to MD until May 2023). Now, since it was a "special order" they won't refund me. I'm sorry, why is your company's incompetence my financial problem? Don't EVER give your business to these liars and scammers. I'm looking for a new car and even though I'm no longer in NY, I will never buy another Land Rover again. If this is how poorly you treat your customers, I have no desire to give you or your parent company any more money. Disgusting customer service.

Great experience. Purchased my car from another dealer and went here for maintenance. Staff is nice and helpful and my service advisor was Rick, made me feel like I purchased the car from them. Very informative, professional and straightforward. I had a wonderful experience at McGovern Land Rover. I'm always looking around to see what's new.

Had a fantastic experience at Land Rover Albany while buying my new Land Rover. Julie, my sales professional is an expert on Land Rover. She is the ultimate professional and the sweetest sales person I have ever worked with. I would recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle to work with Julie as she truly is the best. The service team did an excellent job making sure my appt was scheduled and my new roof rack was installed in a timely and very professional manner. Rick in service is truly outstanding and the best service advisor I have ever worked with. Thank you for making my out of state purchase such an enjoyable experience.
