Always a great experience here, marina is awesome to deal with and the waiting room is incredible. I try to do the basic maintenance on my bmw myself but when the work needed exceeds my capabilities euro repair is the only shop I trust. They fix the problem and address future concerns and common failure points to keep an eye on. The shop is well known in the area as the place where car enthusiasts bring there vehicles

Horrible Horrible!! Fake fixes at full price!! Horrible mechanic!! He told me "HE DRIVES Y'ALL CARs THROUGH ALBANY BECAUSE HE KNOWS Y'ALL CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY FOR THEM"!! HORRIBLE, ALL THE PERSONAL REVIEWS I HEARD AT THE VARIOUS AUTO PARTS, ADVANCED Autos all day the same thing about EUROPEAN AUTO!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE AT SERVICE, MECHANICALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY!! There scam is warranty, when the fix breaks down in 90 days and you bring back for everything that's under warranty, because that's the only thing that went wrong (what they fixed) you have a bill for another 1000 and that work is not under warranty!!F.O.H.!! I noticed that a lot of your white customers walk happier than your back customers!! YOUR MECHANIC IS DEFINITELY RACIST!!

If u care about your car this is the only shop in the area to go, Oleg is a master at what he does, uses the best parts and always goes above and beyond to help me out with problems on all of my vehicles.

This shop is so good it makes me want to get another European car. Appointments are quickly scheduled, service is fast, staff and mechanics are friendly, prices are more than fair. I ve showed up unannounced and had my car towed here and got back on the road faster than anywhere.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repairServices: Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repair

Very honest and reasonably priced. Car was repaired first time with no additional cost. Was kept informed of progress and you can talk to the mechanic if you need. I have been bringing my car there for 5 years and never had an issue or felt like I was being taken advantage of. Would recommend with no reservationsServices: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil changeServices: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

Went recently for annual maintenance and a look at my brakes, and I'm glad that I did. Service was quick, and labor rates were reasonable. If you have a European car, give them a call.

They've been great. As someone who uses snow tires and installs them myself I particularly appreciate how they not only don't over tighten the wheel lugs (like so many places do), but take the extra time to put some lube on them and the face of the rotors making removal by hand easy (as it should be).Little things like that show real care for doing the job right.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

My engine went out and needed to be replaced on my Audi Q5 after 1 year of owning the vehicle. What a stressful moment. Took it to one repair car shop and the quoted price to fix was very disheartening and not affordable for me, even with a warranty. After a few calls around someone referred me to European Repair. After speaking to someone and getting a quoted price a smile came back on my face. (Who wants to be making car payments on a car they can't afford to get fixed) I gave them my warranty information and they handle everything for me. What a load off my shoulders. By now you can tell my experience was great and I would highly recommend this auto repair shop. Thanks European Repair for getting my car back on the road.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

my first experience was excellent...a re-charge of my air conditioning system done on time, as promised, for only $185. next i asked for an estimate to have further work done and the estimate was HIGHER THAN THE DEALER PRICE. i requested a second estimate using aftermarket parts, and the second estimate was STILL HIGHER THAN ALL OTHER COMPETING ESTIMATES I RECEIVED FROM OTHER REPAIR SHOPS. you can't compete with the dealer/competition charging these kind of prices.

Poor customer service! They never answer the phone. They tell you to text a different number, then never get a response when you do text a message. Simply wanted to get a service B done on my Mercedes.

Have a 2005 BMW 645. Brought in for an oil change, NYS inspection as well as an overall systems check. Price was fair and systems check was complete with suggestions for things to keep an eye on and projected costs. Both mechanics and support staff were very professional. Will use again.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil changeServices: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

I would advise you to consider other options as this establishment may not be reputable and could potentially engage in fraudulent activities.

I found this place by chance after having a very terrible experience with the local BMW repair shop. The service guys as well as the young lady in the office are very professional, courteous and kind. European Auto went above and beyond what they had to do for me and thats something you just don't get today not even from the big names. Service was exceptional and so was my whole experience in dealing with them. I would recommend anyone who has a German vehicle and wishes to not break the bank go here before you go anywhere else. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely will. Honestly and truthfully no disappointments.

Great work! I've had my car service there twice with excellent results. Dealerships diagnose well bc the machine does it but their work is often lacking, as they have 1 or 2 good and 10 not so good mechanics. European seems to have all good ones and for a better price.

After going here for a year, I started noticing a trend of always going there for one thing and oddly enough there s 1 or 2 more things wrong. It wasn t until my $21 inspection until I realized i was being taken for someone without car knowledge. Not after not getting a call or text for rotors and having to pay an extra $500, than i suspected for a front brake job. It took me expecting to pay $21 for an inspection, the tints are no problem to remove but to say i need 2 new front tires on a 4wd car to pass my inspection is ridiculous. Said the inside of the tire is wearing more than the outside and the back tires were okay and i needed an alignment. Didnt believe a word and i told them I needed a second opinion. Due to this not being my daily driver and i spent a lot of money last year it wasn t adding up. Thankfully i had an appointment with the official dealer at Keeler for a recall and not only were all tires the same tread wear, they gave me specific measurements which was opposite what i was told from European Auto. I do need an alignment thats the only thing that was right but it wouldnt of stopped me form passing inspection Keeler brought to my attention i needed a new driver belt and ac belt due to it being frayed which was never brought to my attention. Could ve ended in engine damage but i bet Euro Auto would ve loved that. Every dollar i would ve shelled to them. I will spend gladly my hard earned money (almost a fill up more) at Keeler instead of the unfortunate overcharges i have dealt with in the past with European Auto. Ashamed that I referred you to my friends to get the same treatment. Go to Keeler or South of Albany if you want integrity, and respect.Services: Brake service & repair, Oil change

I have found my shop for my mini! Everyone knows European cars cost a ton to fix, so it s really important to have a mechanic that you trust. Oleg and Maria where recommended to me by a friend, and now I recommend them to my friends! They are honest, wonderful to deal with, and good at what they do.

UPDATE April 2022: Reduced from 5 Stars to 1 Star. I can no longer recommend this business. I'll keep this review to the facts:Brought my E9x BMW in for an oscillating vibration from right rear wheel. Get a text the next day from Marina stating the vehicle would not start. She quoted $1,350+ tax to replace the starter motor. No mention of the vibration issue... When pressed, Marina stated the rear brakes needed to be replaced (pads & rotors). Problem is, the rear brakes were recently replaced.... oops. Caught in a lie.Marina's story kept changing as I pressed her on the issue. Too sketchy. Showed up in person the following day to have the vehicle removed from European Repairs and towed to a competent, trustworthy independent BMW shop.Long story short, the competent BMW mechanic diagnosed the starting issue as a faulty engine ground cable. Total cost of repair (tax included), just over $200. As for the rear brakes? Parking brake needed adjustment and RR caliper was intermittently sticking.European Repairs is no longer a trustworthy place to do business. Marina lacks any semblance of integrity and will lie to your face. If you've made it this far, do yourself a favor: take your vehicle elsewhere.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I have brought my vehicles to European Repairs on several occasions, and couldn t be happier with the service I experienced and the quality of work. The techs will personally speak to you regarding the work they are performing. They will also seek your input when applicable, so that the job is done to your expectations.Perhaps the best thing I can say about European Repairs is this:I bought my 12 VW GLI in to this shop a few years back, after it started throwing a code when just outside of the factory powertrain warranty. The techs did a scan, and found the problem. After reviewing available literature from VW, they advised me to take it to a VW dealer, as VW had issued a TSB for the problem, and the repairs would be covered under warranty by VW!Such honesty deserves commendation!Your Euro will be in good hands with Oleg and his staff!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I ve been around mechanics and garages since I was a kid and this is a very fair and honest establishment that knows how to fix cars well. No BS, no racking up a bill. I go there for all maintenance and repairs. They even washed my car after they had it for a few days while doing a major repair. If you have a German car don t go to a regular mechanic. You need experts like these guys that know what they re doing and will fix it right the first time. Highly recommended!

Hands down the best place in the Hudson Valley/Albany and its environs for getting your European auto repaired. They keep My 1999 BMW Z3 running like a newborn baby. Don t even think of going somewhere else. Reliable responsible and in my humble opinion very reasonably priced for the highest quality work around.

When it comes to finding a good mechanic that knows his stuff and doesn't pull you around, Oleg is the man! His knowledge of euro cars is amazing! If something goes wrong with your car Marina can get you fast! If you ever buy a used car or looking at a used car, have them look at it. A year ago I bought a used BMW X1 and took it European rapiers and found out the dealer fail to mention the car needed new brakes. When I confronted the dealer with this information they were forced to put new brakes on for free. Also if you buy the parts you want for your car, Oleg will install them. That is one thing most places won't do. Last but not least they tell you what needs to be done now vs what can be done later. It doesn't feel like they are trying to take advantage of you, that is so rare to find these days.

Horrific!!!! Charged me a sudden diagnostic fee of $100. The shop was recommended to me by a reputatble shop in the area who had already diagnosed the problem. The other shop said Euro auto could possible save me money. They quoted me double what my friendly shop told me and expected 100 to do so! I explained that I already knew what was wrong and I was coming from a shop who highly reccommended them. In fact, the other shop said they had a great working relationship with European auto. She said, read the sign on the door, $100 diagnostic fee . You mean, the sign in your office that I did not enter until I went to get my keys? Prices are very similar to the dealership and customer service is abysmal. I called back and she said they do not do refunds. I threw my money away to find out what I already knew, and from a shop that reccomnended them with a friendly working relationship! Can t say enough about how awful the service is. I vow to redirect anyone looking for foreign car service far far away from this atrocious garage. You say I requested a full diagnostic, ha! I ve brought the vehicle to two other reputable shops in the area and that phrase was never uttered and I was NEVER charged for a skilled mechanic to look at my vehicle. I would never have even called your shop had my mechanic not recommended oleg. When I called that shop back, they were shocked at how you treated me. It never occurred to you that you may inform your customers of a diagnostic fee? Maybe they would not like you to work on their vehicle after they get a taste of your service. Now you insult me by saying if I can t afford to throw my money in the garbage by allowing you to steal it from me then I shouldn t drive a mercedes? I see, you must only approve of a certain level of wealth as it pertains to your clientele. Unprofessional and elitist, please...tell us more about your shop!
