Staff is very professional, ordered a tonneau cover for my truck. They received it and installed it in less than a week. Very quick service.

Nice and friendly professional team to do business with.� Clean environment.� My original plan going into the project was to have my truck lifted, balloon tires, front and rear bumper.� This could have been accomplished if I wanted to break the bank and have the wheels and tires changed, however, I did not budget for that.� The team did work with me and provided a few tips and adjustments to get the look I visualized without breaking the bank.� I am happy to say with just a couple of more tweaks, the set goal will be accomplished.� Being a female and the first time experience with this type of project, my advice to anyone who has a vision for what they want, however, is not familiar with terminology and the different decisions that will need to be made is to do you research to be better prepared.

Wow, I really wish we'd found this place 6 months ago. They did outstanding work restoring the suspension on our van (a small RoadTrek RV built on a Chevy 3500 van chassis). From the initial estimate, which involved putting it on a lift so we could get under it for a good long look, to picking it up, everything they did was first-rate, professional, and on-time. They said they'd need it for 5 days, and that's exactly what happened. A couple minor, unrelated things that needed fixed, they just took care of. They put it up on the lift again to show me what they'd done.It was a big job, involving undoing some earlier work that turned out to be a disaster, but now we have a lift kit, air bags, new springs, etc., all very cleanly installed and the van drives and tows like a dream. (We weren't sure we'd ever feel safe driving it again after the earlier work by someone else, but now we have no doubts.) They were very good at communicating what was going on, and invited us to drop by anytime to see the progress. We'll definitely be using them again.

Walked in to get a lift kit, rims and tires. Sat down and guy went over all my options. Hit the budget I was working with and to be honest I feel really good about my decision to do business with these guys. They promised they would call when my wheels came in so I could look at them. They called me the second they came in. They have NEVER failed to call me with updates on shipments arriving for my truck. Always pick up the phone and always call me back.I read a few reviews that seem to be isolated incidents. Being in the automotive industry I can tell you these guys are gentleman and have come recommended by people I respect.I will be doing ALL my future truck mods at this shop!!!!!

Would not recommend. They told me all parts would be in stock with no back order. All was a go so I had him order the parts. Shortly after I get told parts are back ordered and as I called to check availability of the parts he gave me a bit of attitude. I had to reach out to his distributor myself to find out the parts wouldn t be available and asked for a refund. After 2 months of waiting on parts that would not be coming and 3 weeks of waiting for my refund. I definitely would recommend getting your work done elsewhere!

Had some Bushwhacker fender flares installed on my girlfriend s truck. Service and quality of the installation was great! Nice guys who did a great job. Looking forward to the next project for her truck, great selection of products and good knowledge to help make the decisions.

Brought my 17' VW GTI here to get my downpipe installed, called and they said I could bring it in the next day at noon and pick it up later that same day, that was very convenient because my schedule is very erratic and unpredictable.Brought it in, gave them parts and they called me 2 hours later to pick her up. Their mechanic was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process from start to finish.Labor rate was reasonable considering most dealerships charge 110-150 an hour, they charge 125 which is acceptable for the professional mechanic they have on staff. He deserves it.If you have a European car that needs work or aftermarket work done I would highly recommend capital district truck center(obviously work on more than just trucks).Will be returning before winter to have them install a cat back exhaust.

I would highly recommend Capital District Truck. The team went out of their way to help find an accessory part for my truck at a reasonable price and completed the installation for me. Extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Great job! I will definitely be back!!

Excellent service, my spray in bedliner looks awesome and they even took the time to throw a couple rivets in my hard tonneau that were missing. Above and beyond my expectations. The new owners/management are excellent. Give them a try, you won't be dissapointed.

I was over charged for a install of nerf bars. I did get a email that i didn't see. I spoke several times and i heard something different than the email. So if i knew the price before hand, there is no way on this earth would've agreed to the price 2x what it should have been. My bad. WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. NO I WILL NOT RECOMMEND.ADDENDUM: I most certainly was a customer. I write under a pseudonym so that is why they are saying it is a fake. This should exhibit their disdain for the customer.

I bought a bed cover from these guys. The guy behind the counter assured me they would put the cover on for as per our discussion. That was the only reason I bought it from them instead of online. The cover came in at least a few days later than it was supposed to, and when I got there they refused to put the cover on inside their big empty shop that had 2 guys sitting around talking while it was raining. I told them the situation and the lady left it up to the guys and they refused to put it on. I told them the salesman agreed to have it put on and they said "that's why he got fired." Not the customers problem!! So I would steer clear of this place and just order online and save a lot of money. You wanna support local businesses but it makes it hard when they cannot keep their word.

Employee was smoking a cigarette when I went into pick up my tonneau cover. 3 employees inside and no one was wearing a mask.I went in to order snow tires, rims, rubber floor mats, mud flaps and a tonneau cover. Greg tried to sell me winter all season tires which I realized after I left and did some research.The showroom was dirty and smelled of cigarettes. I did not want my new truck to spend anytime there getting worked on.

Labor break down is "fake news". Anyone who knows their s**t, in reference to lift kits... be it suspension or body lifts, knows the labor prices they give are beyond insane. I just went in and was told 7 hours of labor @ $750 for a freaking simple body lift!!!! The slob that gave the quote, had a grin on his face when he gave me the quote! If you like wasting money and paying 200% markup on parts/ labor, you have come to the right place. If you have a functional brain, and like having some weight to your wallet, you'll go elsewhere.

Not the place to go for a spray in bed liner!Completely butchered the bed liner on my new truck overspray on the fender flairs, runs all over, chipping up in various places and sprayed so thin you can see the paint clear as day. Dropped it off clean and picked it up trashed. The interior/exterior was covered in dust, foot prints, finger prints and tape residue all over.

Fantastic place with technicians that really know what they are doing. Upfront, both Patty, and her daughter Jackie, are extremely pleasant and great to do business with. If you want to pimp out your car, or truck, this is definitely the place to go in the Albany/ Schenectady area.

Doesn t have the customers interests in mind just wanting to push the most expensive thing even if it isn t the best option. Excessive mark up on all their parts, guess thats how they re paying for their new shop that they CAN T even fill with mechanics

Walked in on a week day a couple of weeks ago and saw a customer and owner yelling at each other. Very uncomfortable and would say I'll bring my business elsewhere. Not recommended
