They replaced my radio in my 2016 Mustang where the old screen needed to be replaced. Installed a touch screen radio with CarPlay, came out perfect, everything functioning and looks incredible. Would highly recommend them if you re looking to upgrade your system. Rich and the other technicians I worked with were great. Thanks for doing it for me.

So knowledgeable and helpful! I returned to have my second drone Remote installation and it was easy and convenient just like the first time. When I picked up the car, Rich was very helpful in answering questions I had about another matter with my daughters car. I loved the convenience and the extra attention they gave my questions. I would highly recommend and plan to return!

I wanted a "hands free" system for my 2011 Subaru. Richard and his team provided excellent service throughout the process. They even fixed my remote starter fob during one of my visits! And even when the initial system wasn't 100% working due to a Subaru software glitch, Richard got back me in ASAP and changed it out. I'm very happy with it. I'm also happy to support a family, locally-owned business. Highly recommend.

Gotta give a huge thanks to Rich and James for the killer install on my 2020 dodge Ram subs,amps,component speakers and deck sounds great did a beautiful job would recommend them for stereo installs will be back for other work as well been going there for years great group and phenominal work thank you

I had a problem with my remote car starter so I stopped in and a technician found it was loose wires and fixed it within 10 minutes. Very nice people working there. Highly recommend.

We came across Boomer McLoud after looking for a Pro-certified Compustar remote car starter installer. The sales manager was professional and went over available options and said they were about a week out for installation. After I explained this was for my son who was home from college for a long weekend, he said they could fit me into their schedule the next day. I dropped the car off that night and it was ready by 9:30 the next morning. Surprised that they were done so quickly, the sales manager said they stayed late the night before to get it done for us. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for a car starter in the Capital Region!

Shopped around and compared prices via forums and other shops. I didn t know about Boomer Mccloud stereo and backup camera installations so i stopped in and was rewarded with unbeatable prices and service! Definitely worth the trip to Albany NY if you re looking for a professional install at below market prices!

I had my first remote starter installed 15yrs ago here. Never had an issue. I am bringing my new car into have them install one. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

There is nowhere else to go in the Albany area if you ask me these are the only folks that actually know what's up. I've had them installed two systems for me neither of which have ever given me any problem and if they did I know they would take care of me so I can't recommend anywhere else and I would travel to go to Boomer definitely a plus. _mark 2018 HRV

I Dealt with Rich (the owner) good guy. Took great care of my sons car. They install screens, set up Apple play and since 1988, these guys have been the source behind behind countless sound systems.

If there were more stars to give I would certainly have done so. Long story short, I purchased a boat that had a stereo that would not power on. Before calling them, I looked to make sure everything was connected which it was. I called and was told to bring it in and they'd give it a quick look - not only did they fix it (it now powers on and plays) they found that it was only playing the front speakers. They spent additional time fixing that (changing the settings) so that all speakers play as they should. They did all this yesterday while the boat was on the trailer parked outside the business. These guys are THE BEST! If you are looking for a reputable company who provides OUTSTANDING services at more than reasonable prices - look no further - you have found it at Boomer McLOUD! Thank you again guys! Cant tell you how much I appreciate you and your work!

Brought my honda here about a year and a half ago to have the head unit changed and new speakers installed, ever since then my car has had electrical issues and my passenger side door locking mechanism no longer works, they screwed in one of the screws too much and punched out the front of my new dash mount causing me to have to buy a new mount and do it all myself anyway, wouldn't suggest coming here

They installed a remote car starter for me, the service was excellent at the Central Ave location, was very pleased with the gentleman that made my appointment, they were booked for 3 weeks ahead but they got me in same day. I wouldn't go anywhere else, service was excellent

The staff up front was very knowledgeable and helpful. They had an answer for every one of my questions and made me feel like I was getting the best deal for what I was looking for. They listed out a quote sheet for everything involved with the install so I knew what I was getting. The install was done fast and clean. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends, family, and colleagues.

So I originally gave this place 3 stars. First review was my fault. I put in a $6700 sound system into my 2023 Gladiator. It didn't sound like I got $6700 worth of system. It wasn't what I put in, it was my streaming service. Don't use cheap services when utilizing something that sounds like God put it in for you. I then updated to 4 stars, minus a star due to having to come back. Seems dumb, but my time is important. As of today, 2/13/23, I'm updating to 5 stars. My subs started cutting in and out. They took my call at 9am, no problem. " Oh that's happening? Please come in and let us help out. " No questions asked other than how they can help. My system sounds godly, truly in terms of loudness and clarity. I can't say enough good things about this business. Truly professional.

I went in a few weeks ago and spoke with the person working. Asked about what new stereo would work in my car. It is a single din and I wanted something that I could use car play and some other options. He said they didn't really carry options like that anymore. So he told me that I should buy somewhere and they could install it for me. Fine, I go and order what had some nice reviews and the features I was looking for. I called and set an appointment for the install and bring in the radio to be installed, they seem none to happy as I was told it was a jigsaw they had to put together. I leave it with them to install. Before I get back to work I get a call saying the install was going to be 200 more than I was quoted do to the fact of a tougher install? Not having much choice at this point I agreed. They call later say all done I come to pick up and pay my bill, much higher than quoted, but I pay. Then the person checking me out says next time to buy from them, to which I explained that it wasn't an option I was presented with. Will never be back or recommend.I hate leaving reviews like this, have only done it 2 times. Just felt like it might be helpful to someone in the future.Full disclosure, the radio and the install job looks very good.

Guys were very professional and knowledgeable. They put in a remote start for me a while back. I had a issue with my truck and nissan blamed the remote start. Only to find out nissan was wrong. I explained this to the guys and they said just bring over and they would put it back in for me. I asked how much to do so and he said nothing. They got me right in and took care of me. Cant wait to get my stereo upgrade from them thanks again.

Made an 11:00 appointment and was told to come back at 1:00 for pick up. They didn t get my car in until 11:30, and picked up after 2:00. A call letting me know that there was a delay would have been appreciated, especially when people have to work. The guy at the front desk was also very rude, and at the end said oh I ll go back and help him after he was sitting around for 30 minutes doing nothing while I was as waiting in the showroom. Will not recommend or come back due solely to their poor customer service and communication.

I just had a low profile or slim two 8in sub and amp combination installed in my vehicle. The installer, Jim did an outstanding job. Control knob for the base is hidden yet very accessible. The system that was recommended is more than adequate. I would even say that it exceeds my expectation for output given its size and compactness. The workmanship appears to be top-notch. I had requested that it be easily removable and repositionable in the back. Both of my request where were delivered on. As for the price, the quoted price was what I was charged and I found it to be reasonable. This is my second interaction with this company, though the first time at this location. Both in the past and presently they've delivered consistent quality work. I highly recommend.

Greetings,I want to take the time to commend an employee who helped me on November 1, 2022, at the store located at 1092 Central Avenue in Albany NY. I was there between 1:30 and 2pm. I purchased a replacement fob for a remote starter I purchased in 2011, NOT from Boomer McCloud, but from a store in Glenville, NY that has since went out of business. The brand for the remote starter was/is Crime Stopper.I ordered the replacement fob over the internet from a universal site that had the fob I needed. When it arrived, it did not come with any programming instructions.I decided to stop into the Albany store today, and asked the employee if he might be able to help me. I regret that I didn't get his name.He spent time researching on the internet for programming instructions and attempted once to get it to work. It did not work the first time. So he searched again, found instructions, and was able to troubleshoot and got the fob programmed and working.This employee went above and beyond to help me out, even when I did not originally purchase the remote starter from Boomer McCloud. He was friendly and approachable and demonstrated excellent customer service.When I was leaving, I asked him how much I owed him. He said nothing. He spent close to 30 minutes helping someone out, and did so graciously and professionally.I wanted to let his manager or Corporate office know that this employee showed exemplary service, in a situation that he didn't have to.
