I was in the Albany area when my windshield got busted. It happened on a Sunday and I called in a Monday and explained I m far away from home. They got the part ordered and got me in to replace it Tuesday. They even provided some transportation for me. Hands down the best and friendliest place I ve been to. Thank you so much to the wonderful couple who owns this business.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Really great and fast service. I called on Monday Morning and they helped me go through my insurance. After various back and forth, insurance cleared it on Tuesday and they set me up for work on Thursday Morning.I've expressed my concern of using aftermarket glass as I've had terrible experiences with Safelite in the past (in terms of the quality of the glass).When I showed up to my appointment, they had me inspect the glass before, during, and after installation. Really great service and would use them again.

The phone contact was just awful. They asked ME to set up a call between me, them, and the repair shop where the repair was being done. Turns out the repair shop and a competitor never heard of such a thing. I was then accused of yelling at them. I did not, and was very upset to be accused of same. Both the rep and the alleged manager did not want the business, so my agent contacted a competitor and i was very satisfied. Looking at reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence, rude handling of calls.

I have had the best experience with this company. In short Tracy, Dave ,and Joe really helped me with my sons damaged car. They went beyond the call of duty. They even set up getting used parts From Browns Salvage for me to keep the costs down. It is rare to find this kind of service these days. I have always been treated great by them.That is why I don't even shop around to other glass companies. I always use them for home and auto. Thank you sooo much American glass! I truly appreciate it. One last thing ,when they tell you not to pet the cat, they really mean it.,

I had a crack across my windshield and Tracy at American Glass worked with my insurance company to get the replacement glass in from the manufacturer quickly and install it in about an hour. The technician even cleaned the inside of my car before they finished. Super friendly service, I highly recommend. You can't get quality service like this from Safelite.

American Glass installed mirrors for me 25 years ago and I was happy with the product and service. May 1st 2108 I met with owner Dave 2x at my yoga/dance studio to extract those mirrors to store and re-install in another studio. He came to the space, gave his word for the job. He changed the date 2x and then decided to not do the job with no communication with me, claiming unsafe "demolition". If that was the real case, the minimal of a phone call of job cancelation and considering another option would have been appreciate. When I called him/Dave, the owner, took no responsibilty and was very rude. I would never use his service again.

Excellent & fast service for rear shattered w/s on our new Pacifica. Tracy went above & beyond to expedite installation she is totally reliable Matt the mechanic is as Ace & Elliott in the office was very accommodating all very friendly definately would reccomend

Tracy was very pleasant and professional but the owner...Dave...is definately a miserable person. Worst customer service I can remember. He truly could care less about you & I will never do business with this company again.

Horrible place read the previous reviews against my Better judgement had my windshield replaced there. 2 weeks later windshield started cracking again from the bottom like a installment crack took it back they say a rock hit my windshield another 400 dollars down the drain just 2 weeks later

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! WAY OVERPRICED. I called to get an estimate on an 80" Storefront broken window replacement, and was told a price of $1750. I laughed at this as I really thought they were joking. I was told that this was the going rate and if I shopped around I would see. Well I called another company with the same info and was told $800, they showed up an hour later to measure and in 4 hours later they had the old window out and the new window in for $750. A $1000 dollar difference!!! Glad I decided to not get ripped off, I can see from the other reviews it would have been a headache and would have took way to long.

***DO NOT WASTE TIME*** The owner of the company actually yelled at me when asked the status of an order and said he didn't care about our small order. Such a mean and miserable person. Please don't waste your time.

Windshield: found a side dent on body piece adjacent to window. Window spray wasn't reattached. Wipers where reinstalled wrong etc.

I called the shop because I left my purse behind the owner who picked up the phone was one of the most rude individuals I ever spoke with apparently there are three other American glass shops in Albany I suggest you find one of them to get your repair.
