Absolutely a 10 out of 10 for all of your insurance needs. The staff at this agency go above and beyond to make sure your policy has you, your family and those prized possessions your insuring covered. They go above and beyond to try and match your accurate needs with a customized policy that is actually what you will need in an emergency as opposed to a one size fits all policy that in an emergency could leave you stranded. I switched my renters policy not that long ago, ended up paying less and obtaining accurate coverage that was better then what I was paying previously. They explained everything in detail to make sure I fully understood what options I had and were happy to answer a million different questions without hesitation. If your looking for Auto, Renters, Home Owners or even Pet insurance... This is the place to go. They actually care and will be transparent with you. Sometimes only focusing on the bottom dollar, you loose sight of the big picture... but absolutely worth having them run the numbers to see if they can save you some money or get you better coverage for the price your already paying!

I walked in without any appointment and was greeted bi Joanne with a warm hello.Joanne was so helpful and very informative. I felt at ease working with her. I felt like I was in good hands with her. I really had a very pleasant experience. She is a very kind person and an asset to the AAA Hudson Valley Albany Office.Thanks again Joanne!

Do not waste your time with AAA Home and Auto Insurance. My insurance with AAA started off as MetLife, is currently called Farmer's Insurance, but I sign in to a site called "Foremost" when I go online for my policies. So steer clear of all of them. I had a 40% hike in my premium between years. When I called to inquire why, I was told my rates had to go up to subsidize the cost of an increase in other peoples' claims. And also, Inflation. 40%!!!!! I have never filed a claim on my insurance or gotten any sort of traffic ticket in the entire time I have been with them. My Homeowner's limits only increased by 8%. I'm being robbed!There is no support option to email or chat with AAA. The Main Directory is clunky, static-y and migraine-inducing awful. When you do talk to someone, if you get transferred you find yourself right back at the Main Directory where you didn't hear any options that applied to what you were calling about in the first place. I dread it but I will definitely be shopping for insurance elsewhere, I have never had a rate increase as insane as this. I'd actually be better off if I stuck with my prior insurance company, AAA has officially blown them out of the water. 40%!!!!!!!!!

Attended a driver safety class. Excellent presentation by the instructor best of the 5 times thru the years I've taken the class for reduction of insurance premiums.

Called for a tow yesterday Friday the 13th around 4:30, pickup location was caliber collision. I wait about 40 minutes for the tow truck to even be on its way, then i wait another 20 before i get a call saying they need to confirm with caliber that i have no existing charges or bills, which is understandable. They then call me back after caliber closes and then tell me that they cant have my car towed because they cant reach anyone there. So i try everything i can to explain that i didnt have my car looked at by them and didnt have them do any work, like getting the key back from caliber with a tag on it from them but no the person on the phone wasnt having it, i even asked if i can just drive it off there property and if they can pick it up then, and said no that they need to call back when there open which is on Monday. Thanks for wasting my time and the tow company's because you guys dont call right away to confirm you can pick it up. Now i have to wait 2 days just so i can get my car towed because caliber isn t open on the weekends.

In March 2022 a dispatcher named Matthew had left me and my car stranded overnight three hours away from my home as I had told him that I was trying to travel back home for work in the morning and needed a tow since my transmission blew. He immediately became hostile and flagged my account for no other dispatcher to help me get out of my situation what so ever and was extremely rude and disrespectful during this stressful time trying to get home. I had discussed with Matthew that I had my car checked at a mechanic and I told him I had a receipt and still refused to bring a tow to me and accursed me of stealing property even though I told him I could provide a receipt (which I still hold to this day). I hope I never have to deal with this branch ever again and I hope Matthew has received proper training to deal with customers in a stressful situation because no other customer should deal with high hostility and arrogance that I had to tolerate.

I always have a great experience at the AAA store. I came in there one time to renew my membership, and it was then that I discovered you could speak to a travel agent on how to book flights, get maps and even directions on a car trip I was planning. So much more than just the road side that they are known for.

Called for a tow at 6:30pm. Was told everything was set and they would arrive by 8:15. Received text notifications of the time being pushed back over an hour and a call to inform me of delays. By 9pm I received a text stating my call was dispatched. By 10:30pm I called for an update, gave my info, was put on hold just to get another representative and had to repeat the process. I was told dispatch would contact me in a few minutes. An hour passes, I called again. This time I get a man with no desire to do his job at all. He put me on hold for 5 minutes with every piece of information asked for. He finally tells me dispatch will contact me when I asked if they ll actually do so, because I d like an update, he gave me attitude and hung up on me. Im appalled at the customer service in the eastern NY region. No one I spoke to had any care in the world for what I'm dealing with or cared to actually help me. It s now midnight and I m still without a tow, and was just hung up on for a second time. At this rate I don t believe they ll ever actually show up. What a horrible company and horrible way to treat customers who pay for a service just to be treated like garbage.

I found myself stuck on the side of 787 last night (6/29). Called AAA Hudson Valley and the experience could not have gone more smoothly. After an initial wait on hold, Victor processed my information quickly, prioritized my call due to where I was "parked" and kept me updated as to when the tow truck, which was driven by Tyrone, would arrive. Tyrone was equally professional, securing my vehicle on the flatbed and bringing it to my preferred repair shop. Both Victor and Tyrone did a great job. Thank you.

01/26/24 MY DAUGHTER NEEDED A TOW AFTER A SMALL FENDER BENDER. SHE WAS REPEATEDLY TOLD HER ACCOUNT HAD BEEN CANCELLED AND SHE DOES NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT. I PAID HER MEMBERSHIP IN AUGUST OF THIS YEAR!!!!! DUE TO THEIR INEPTNESS SHE HAD PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR A TOW JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TOTALLY STINKS!!!! WOULD BE NICE IF SHE WERE PAID BACK FOR THE TOW JOB.

My experience was far from fast or friendly, I called for assistance on November 20th to waited two hours in the cold. When the AAA staff showed up with an empty flatbed I was shocked to hear that he would not tow me because his dispatch order was just to check for lack of gasoline. I explained the AAA employee I spoke to had detailed notes to check all issues then tow if necessary. It was necessary and I was left on the side of the road and told to call in again and request a tow.

Honestly for being a member for the last 5 years I have to say I m very disappointed in AAA s customer and Emergency road service. They have been going downhill I definitely will not be renewing my membership next time around much easier and faster to call a legit tow company

Was flat beaded to a rest area in Kingston. Was told they couldn't drop the car off for 2 days and wasn't allowed in the truck with them. I was still 50 miles. Away had to call for a ride.

Becca was awesome and helped me with what I needed. She made it so simple to get an international driver's permit so I can rent a car in Italy. Highly recommend this branch.Went back this year for another International Drivers License. Just as friendly as always. Great experience.

I got hosed on converting American Dollars into Canadian Dollars on 4/4/19. For $115.00 US cash, I got $125.00 Canadian. I guess I should have done my research ahead of time. Shame on me.

i completed my 5 hour pre licensing course today and i just had to say linda was an absolute doll ! absolute amazing teacher , she was so patient , encouraging , and overall a sweet , kind soul ! she made the course very engaging and made it a fun yet educational experience ! she definitely opened my eyes to being safer on the road , and making better decisions at times . highly recommend taking your 5 hour through this place !

I ve tried Charging My vehicle at this location numerous times. The chargers remain off. Also I called and spoke to Tracy she said they are off because the chargers are tripping their breakers. Would not recommend this location at all

The ev charging station are always off during regular opening hours. Yes all 4 of them. So when is it supposed to be on? And I m a current AAA member. Update: my membership expiration date is 06/30/2023. So check your facts AAA.

Very unprofessional. I have been AAA member for 3 years and have only needed to use roadside assistance twice. My car broke down and was stranded and needed a tow. I was honest letting them know that I needed a tow to the dealer. They refused and canceled my ticket without letting me know. When I called back to speak to a manager I was disconnected. I will be canceling my membership. I suggest other options for Roadside assistance.
