Great service as usual. It has been a few years since I have been to Gene's but still the best place to go for quality work and customer service. No worry about trying to up sell you like the chain places. I had to replace the upper/lower control arms and tie rods on my truck and needed an alignment. Called Gene's first thing Monday morning hoping to get in there sometime during the week. He actually offered to try and squeeze me in that day if I could drop it off. I chose to just drop it off the next day on my way to work. Received a call from Gene by lunch that it was all set. Steering wheel is now straight and drives nice and straight. I'm very pleased and at a reasonable price. A+

My car had a tire that consistently went low about every 500 miles. Although I had taken it to a couple of repair places in Tennessee, they never located the problem. Driving through New York one morning, again with the low tire light and miles to drive before the day ended, I first tried to fill the air at a service station only to make the problem worse. Next, I stopped at a tire service sign only to find the business undergoing reconstruction. Finally, I saw Gene's sign and pulled in. True, I spent over an hour there waiting, but it was time and just a few dollars well spent, for the mechanic was diligent in searching for the problem. He showed me his work and fixed the issue. That was over 2,500 miles ago and the tire has not gone low since. Thank you!

Absolutely the greatest small town find! Gene's is a family owned and run shop and they treat you like family. They do far better work than the trained chimps in the big franchise places and do it without making your wallet cry. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

I received great service from this family run business. The sons run the shop, dad & mom run the counter.Gene's Tire has very fair prices & they are a pleasure to work with.If my company vehicles have a leak in a tire, they plug it fast & get me back to work. I have been doing business with them for more then 40 yrs & have never had a problem. Thank you

I have been using Gene's for tire since I got my license ten years ago and I have always received great service. They have always given me good and honest advice (for free.) I have bought used tires in great condition and at a very good price, had tires patched and been talked through all the options when I was considering new tires. They will fit people in last minute even if it means staying late and complete all work in a very timely manor. I was very surprised by some of the reviews because in the decade that I have been going to Gene's I have never had or heard about a bad experience. I always recommend them and love being able to support a solid local business! They are very experienced and try to help everyone get the best option that is both safe and affordable.

I never leave reviews, but I had the best experience at Gene s! So fast, so friendly. I hope I don t have tire issues anytime soon, but if I do I m comin back here!!

Gene s has been reliable for helping us with all of our tire needs for the past 5 years. Recently we shipped hard to find tires to them, and they mounted then on our rims, spin balanced, etc. the service was great.

I have been going to Gene's for about 15 years now...personal service, you pay no more than the big franchise tire centers--but you get so much more in the way you are treated as a "friend" and person. We must keep out business local to private companies--and what we get in return are not only great prices, great products--but we make great friends!

I went to Gene's Tires for years. Most of the people I've talked to in there have also been going to them for years. This is so important and such a rarity this days with so many businesses.However, during the height of the pandemic when I went there, I was the only one wearing a mask. The staff even joked about it when a customer came in asking if masks were necessary.I left there. Told them why. They didn't care. Took my business elsewhere.

Just awful. Gene is rude, his staff is incompetent, and their level of customer service is atrocious. I would not recommend taking your car here. This guy is local and obviously thinks that means he doesn't have to supply quality in his work. I would instead recommend the Firestone down the road. Yes, it's a chain, but at least you know they have a corporate structure and you can file complaints properly.I left my car with Gene on 7 May 2013 at about 5:45am to have an alignment done and had a friend drive me to work. When I came to get the car at about 4:30pm, Gene was there. I paid him and started to drive home. As I came to stops, my car would jerk around and I noticed my check engine light was on.Obviously, I went back to see if they could look at my car. I thought it was possible they may have knocked something loose or done something similar. The mechanic there offered no help other than wanting to show me how they align the tires. He insisted they didn't touch the engine or anything else. Any first-grade drop out can tell you that engine lights and severe performance issues don't just happen randomly when you leave your car with a mechanic. I called my attorney.While on the phone with my attorney, Gene showed up again and asked me what was the problem. As I explained it to him, he immediately dismissed it and became agitated. Because I was on the phone with a lawyer, I walked away. My friend, who followed me back in case I needed a ride home, had scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday. Turning to him, Gene got in his face and said, "I'm cancelling your f***ing appointment!"This just reflects the awful level of customer service Gene supplies to his paying customers. Because he was not even willing to look at the work he had done or even recommend a mechanic that could check my engine light, he has lost out on two customers. I am of course disputing the charges, as even now my car still veers off to the left when I drive. He was incredibly rude and too full of himself to even check. All he did was gather my tag number while I was on the phone, closed up the garage while I was still there, and drove off.No attempt was made in any way to offer any solution to the issue.Do NOT take your vehicles here, and make sure everyone in the Accord area knows that Gene's service is terrible, his garage is sub-par, and his employees are very unhelpful.

Absolutely amazing! I had my little one year old with me. They had us in and out in less time then the time they quoted us. Wonderful staff and very thorough. Made sure to tell me info and asked if I had questions before I left.We got four new tires and kept the old ones. They even wrapped up our old tires and loaded them into the car for me!

A Standard for tires. Problem is he has lost manpower and twice now was too busy to be able to help me. Not a Car tire repair. But if you need new tires or a working Truck. This is your place.

I Love Gene's, I can stop in with any worry and the guys are so helpful, I have a good time waiting with a 2 year old while work is done enough said. Prices are great and he truly stands by his work!

top notch honest no b.s. service. on time for while you wait appointments. only shop i've ever been to that didn't over torque my lugnuts. i'm glad a friend turned me on to Gene and his sons.

Until my recent encounter with Gene's Tires, I was very happy with them...local & nice.On Jan. 2 2014 they changed my wheels to wheels with snow tires already mounted. Today (less than 2 months later)I noticed a disturbing noise from the front left side. Because Gene couldn't take a look until later, I went to Bill's Auto in Rosendale and they discovered that all 4 wheels were loose, the front left one being dangerously so ("lug nuts easily moved with fingers"). My husband called Gene thinking he would want to know. Whoever answered the phone was impatient, unwilling to take responsibility and hung up on my husband. This was a very dangerous procedural failure. I will not go back there.
