Excellent little convenient store! Great service always given with a smile !!! They carry a little bit of everything. You can get hot food, ice, drinks, and sweets if you have a hankering for some! Always friendly!!! I highly recommend visiting! Try the frito pies; delicious !!!

The attached restaurant - La Cocina Lucero - was amazing. The red chile that topped our smothered fries was some of the best I ve ever had. But do save room for the homemade ice cream - we tried the candy-cane and the coffee and doughnuts flavors. It was so rich and creamy a serious MUST try. They were also very attentive with sweet personalities. One of the owners also open carried with a smile which made us feel extra safe and secure.

General store & La Cocina Lucero restaurant Terrific restaurant! Wonderful people, inviting small town charm. Ask about the daily specials. The best dishes are usually not on the regular menu oh yeah, also nice store for off the beaten path. They have 20lbs propane swaps.

This store has been a local store for the area as far back as I can remember. Me and my feioather installed a new roof and installed the turbines that were needed to spec for this place. The people are very friendly and greet you with kind words and any help you need. It has upgraded to a store with lots of variety to meet the needs of this rural town and its surrounding area. I recommend that anyone who goes to visit family or camping at State Park. If you forgot something it's OK cuz they most likely will have what you require. Support and positive thoughts go out to this long time establishment. Don't take my word for it. Stop in and see for yourselves that everything I said is 100% true. "Best Believe!"

Delicious Frito pies. Outstanding breakfast burritos by Josie Torrez. Danny is a great person to share local knowledge and he is friendliest store owner you will ever meet

We have several family members who are allergic to wheat and they made sure everyone got something they could eat. The Frito chili pie was really good!

Well stocked, friendly, and if the Sexton or Church Secretary is in at the church, Nuestra Se�ora la Virgen de Guadalupe, across the street, check the tapestries inside. One was done by Ms. Jennie's son. Good burritos, too.

I ate here on my way to Arizona from New York, stopped in for breakfast after staying at a campground down the road, the owner was very welcoming and made me so much awesome food and talked with me while I ate, have been meaning to write this review for a while but we finally got it done

Some of the nicest people you will ever meet! got lost in new mexico driving to oklahoma and they kindly gave me directions! to the 3 people in the store when you helped me, THANK YOU!!!! definitely going back just to visit!

Need supplies for a camping trip next summer when you go camping at the Villanueva state park the Villanueva General store is there but there is also a Gallegos Cash store too. I know a lot since I live in the Villanueva area.
