I will forever love this place. Our car broke down in Tucamcari and they welcomed us in with open arms and took such great care of us. They let us settle down and figure things out in their lobby that was very clean and well kept. The sweetest lady gave us some gatorades and helped us figure out a plan. I am forever indebted to Ray s truck repair and will never forget their kindness.

We are extremely grateful we called Ray's Truck Service after our RV tire blew on I-40 yesterday, just 4 miles west of Tucumcari, NM.We were stranded several hours in the median of the highway with our seven children, waiting for our insurance company to locate a tow truck (on Memorial Day weekend). While waiting, we called Ray's to see if they had our specific tire in stock, which they did. They also recommended we call All Rite Towing when we asked for a recommendation, which was a fantastic referral.We were towed to Ray's, arriving just 30 minutes before they were supposed to close for the day. They worked well with our tow truck driver and had us back up and running with a new tire in about 45 minutes.We have had a much different experience with replacing an RV tire before, so THANK YOU to the folks at Ray's for going above and beyond to help us.Because of Ray's Truck Service's professionalism, outstanding customer service, and in-stock tire selection, we are back on the road today, headed towards our next destination.

Car broke down randomly. Took us in with only a few hours before closing. Not only was the staff lovely and so welcoming, they didn t try and rip us off or charge us insane prices. Upon entering you re offered water, coffee, and hot chocolate with multiple comfortable sofas to sit and wait on . The place is kept spotless. Couldn t recommend their establishments more.

These fine folks helped me out on a Sunday morning. By day 7 of our Route 66 road trip, I needed an oil change. And my damn tail gate wouldn t come down!Julio did good work and Terry kept me company while I was waiting.

Ray's not only knows how to take care of business but also takes wonderful care of their customers! While passing through town, I realized our vehicle was leaking gas. Ray's showed us incredible hospitality and service while we addressed this issue! Ray's delivers excellent service and compassionate care for their customers.

The guys at Ray's couldn't have been nicer!! Service was A+ and everyone was happy to take care of us on a Sunday!! Pat checked us in and repaired the tire that had a piece of metal in it. He had great sense of humor. If the need arises, I would highly recommend Ray's Truck Repair!!

I was passing through New Mexico in my pickup and my power steering went out. The mechanics at Ray s Truck Service were able to get my vehicle worked on practically right away. The issue was resolved with surprising speed and even the bill was unusually modest. 10/10, highly recommend if you are ever in the area and need vehicle repairs.

This place did me a solid. I had a blow out on a trailer on my way home 2 states away. I arrived at 8am, explained I just need my spare put on because I didn t have a jack or socket to fit the lug nut on my trailer. I was in and out quick and back on the road. I m Thankful for Rays truck service!

Traveling Route 66 and ran into car trouble. These guys helped us out and got us on our way again quickly. Definitely five stars if you are in need of knowledge mechanics.

The clutch went out on my 1997 F350 dually. Clint was the mechanic who worked on my truck. He was courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He returned all the used parts to me. I am beyond pleased, and will use this shop and this mechanic exclusively from now on!

My husband and I were on vacation, traveling across New Mexico on our way to Las Vegas. We discovered a tire issue on our 5th wheel camper late in the day, We called Rays Truck Service, Natalea was very accommodating and fit us in right away. Julio installed a new tire was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were back on the road in no time! Highly recommend this shop. Thank you Julio for the great service!!

The staff was beyond kind and very helpful. If you are ever in town and are having vehicle trouble this is the place to go. Our car broke down passing through town and Ray s helped us diagnose the problem and let us hang out in the lobby while we figured out a plan. Overall a very positive experience.

Great customer service!! While driving from Tennessee to Arizona, a section of our golf cart trailer frame broke and needed welding. The Flying J employees in Tucumcari recommended Ray s across the street. It was 4:00 pm and the team at Ray s were more than happy to bring in the trailer and immediately make the repairs at a very reasonable cost. Within 30 minutes we were back on the road. We are so grateful the team took care of us quickly and with a smile. What a way to end our Thanksgiving travels.

We had 2 flats from a pothole outside Tucumcari. The tow truck driver left our car at Ray's. Everyone at Ray's treated us well. They helped us figure out how to fix the car and helped get us back on the road. I really appreciate them!!!!

Hugo was a big help! Got a flat on my way through NM, they diagnosed the tire and got me a new one quickly. Awesome tech. Ask for him by name. Although don t too many of you ask he might get stressed

My kia souls catalytic converter messed up and these folks helped my husband and I out a BUNCH!! they also dealt with my emotional hot mess sleep deprived self amazingly. I cannot thank them enough. We came in at closing and they helped us first thing the next morning. Had us back on the road by noon. We not only made it to idaho but also back home to Tennessee.Thank you, this will probably be the last time my kids get to see thier grandmother physically, and we were ablento create amazing memories. Would have been a 5 star review but man is the front desk lady harsh. I actually ended up saying the words 'ma'am, I am not trying to be mean to you' as she yelled at me for trying to find out if I was going to be able to leave that day or not.That said, they DID finish the truck that day, and relatively early even. If I had had an idea of that, I would have planned to most likely leave. Oh well, me and the kitty and horses got a day of rest and the horse and people hotels weren't totally outrageous in this town :/

Really friendly service, i called in because i realized my 8 hours drive put me overdue for an oil change by a few km's most places are closed on a sunday but these guys are open!and were able to take me same day! Which was a life saver. Right next door to a Loves and a Pilot if you want to walk to get a drink. I was very happy with my service. They even offer a washing service which is great as it can be hard for some rv'ers to wash their rig.

So so so disappointed, the woman that works there said they will help to repair our truck Sunday morning, we trusted her When we called on Sunday morning she pretended that she did not say that and hung up the phone don t trust them!!!

Great tire shop. Open 8am Sunday to patch a zr tire, took extra care to not scratch my wheel. Very nice people. I love New Mexico

One of the workers Hugo is a literal angel. He is a professional who goes out of his way to be helpful. He has so much knowledge and kindness! We went to a place down the road (coast2coast on google not sure the name- has a Napa sign) and I was told by one of the strangest humans in a bizarre manner that I had a crack in my oil pan that would take a week to fix. He said there were no u-hauls within 70 miles, no one else could help, and he creepily offered to drive my car to Phoenix as he was on his way there anyways after declaring he was an ex gang member from there. I was devastated. Hugo checked out my car and just twisted the drain plug closed. He said there was not a crack. He filled my tank with oil after and sent us safely on our way. I m grateful honest humans like him exist. We were made it safely made it to our destination today.
