Johnny went above and beyond to take care of us after our car broke down on the way back to Colorado. He was very honest and upfront about the issues and the costs. Highly recommend JV Professional Automotive who likes being treated well.

Excellent business under excellent ownership. While traveling for work, my truck began mis-firing. Johnny not only stopped what he was doing to take a look at our vehicle, but quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it as well. The whole thing only took about 2 hours, and was saved my entire business trip (my biggest such one of the year). What's more, he managed to do all of this while being extremely nice and fun to be around, couldn't have asked for better service. A few months have gone by, and my truck still runs better than it had since I bought it.

JV Automotive was a LIFE SAVER!!! We broke down on 60 W on our way to the Grand Canyon. My boyfriend and I have both really been through the wringer during Covid, and we were so excited about our road trip vacation. Then we broke down just 2 days into it (before we could even make it to our reservations that we had already paid for at the Grand Canyon). The only real blessing in our break down was JV Automotive. We cannot recommend this shop enough. They were so nice and honest. They squeezed us in to their already full workload to help us get out of town in a day and a half. We are now back on the road and are going to make it to the very end of our Grand Canyon trip! Thank you, thank you, JV Automotive. We would recommend this shop to anyone. My wife and I live in Datil, NM, and whenever we need vehicle service our go to mechanics are at JV Professional. They have addressed all our maintenance needs promptly and very satisfactorily and at a reasonable cost. Everyone is courtious, friendly, and knowledgeable. Five thumbs up.

JV Automotive should be nationally rated and certified among the best of the best. JV Automotive raises the bar on what excellence in auto repair and customer service is. Johnny and Lisa , owners, run an excellent shop. Abel and other staff are only working there because they meet Johnny and Lisa's high standards. Prices of repairs are reasonable and they treat every vehicle as if it were their own and every customer as though they were family. My only choice for vehicle maintenance and repairs and I am glad they are here.

I was at the Festival of Cranes and ran into some car trouble and called JV.When I called the number a nice lady answered and told me that they would come out to tow my car and take a look at it right away.Johnny came with his tow truck within reasonable time and was very professional. He towed me to his shop and offered to stop somewhere so that I could pickup some lunch. When we got to the shop they very quickly diagnosed the problem with my transmission fluid line and had it repaired within an hour and a half.I would describe them as courteous, professional and reasonably priced. I wish they were closer to Albuquerque, I would be a lifetime customer. Highly recommend their services. Great job Johnny! and Thank You!

Awesome people, so helpful and kind, helped us when our Ford f250 diesel broke down in the middle of our vacation. Johnny is an amazing mechanic, very knowledgeable, we are so grateful. In town from Michigan and towing a trailer, so we needed fast service. Got us in first thing in the morning on the day after Christmas. Staff was very professional, the owner specialized in our type of truck, which made us feel ever better. Fair priced and very accommodating. Would definately come back if we make it back through the area.

These guys rock! We were just passing through when our car started to make an unusual noise. They got us in right away, took a test drive to identify the source of the noise, double checked what they thought the issue might be and we were in-and-out in an hour and a half. We were charged very reasonably, especially considering how quickly and thoroughly we were taken care of. We are very grateful!

We were traveling and were stranded with automotive problems. Our problem was quickly diagnosed, parts obtained & repairs made. We had been having problems with the vehicle for over a year and this mechanic figured out the real problem. They were empathetic to our need and worked on our vehicle the same day. We were amazed & very grateful. We would highly recommend this business, just wish we lived close enough to use this business on a regular basis. Many thanks.

Johnny from JV Auto is a phenomenal person and mechanic he went out of his way to help me while I was in Socorro way up and beyond. Most Auto shops you feel like you are being taken advantage of and Johnny made us feel like family. Thank you Johnny for great service and all the help you provided for my family and for myself.

Avoid this place!My car had problem with starting up when the engine was cold. The owner pretended to be able to fix my car. He suggested me to replace the fuel pump and clearly said that if I replace it the problem would be fixed. He charged me $500 but failed to fix the problem. It was an extremely disappointing experience Plus He is very rude.Do not be fooled by his confident gesture. He does not know probably more than fixing simple problems and oil change.Go there if you want to waste your money.

Honest and very knowledgeable mechanic. He will also get the car done by the time he says he will. He's a man of his word. Highly recommended. And he has a very good attitude.

Our alternator needed replacement when we got to Socorro late one afternoon (after the Honda dealer in Albuquerque replaced a year old battery and told us it was not our alternator). They quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately ordered a part. The alternator was replaced pretty early the next day and we were on our way. Very efficient, courteous folks. A great place if you have to have car trouble.

He does mechanic work right and he is honest and he does good work . he don't let a vehicle leave his shop until its all good. Plus he is ma best friend and he appreciates his customers . another thing he has a great team and I wud suggest to anybody to take there vehicle there to the car or truck doctor.

This shop is actually JV PROFESSIONAL AUTOMOTIVE. Johnny et al are honest, down to earth and provide quality services at reasonable prices. We couldn't be more pleased with the work that we've had done on our Nissan truck at this shop.Ball joints, brakes, oil change, power steering belt, tire rotation, machined rotors, lube & belt, hose & fluid check, total once over to let us know what would be required for more work that we need done. They even went out of their way to fix a window that hadn't been working properly & adjusted the torsion bars, both for free.We're a repeat customer & will definitely be a returning.

I broke down on my way to Elephant Butte (from Albuquerque) with starter problems on a Saturday afternoon. The vehicle was towed to JV by Baca's Towing who contacted Johnny directly and made arrangements to repair the truck on Monday. JV did an awesome job sorting out the issues and was very reasonably priced. He also sorted out some warranty issues and went way above and beyond to help out. I would recommend this shop to anyone who gets stranded south of Albuquerque.

Johnny and everyone there were very friendly, polite and helpful. He came and towed our large van safely to his shop. The problem was diagnosed and explained in a professional manner along with his recommendations. When the partshouse delivered the wrong part JV Proffesional earned their name by immediately correcting the problem and getting the correct part delivered. Traveling across several states and needed an oil change....Johnny and his staff were excellent! Quickly took us in and set us on our way....thank you guys!Friendly and honest...good and rare combination now days

They cared! We were stuck in Socorro when our radiator cracked. We were able to get to Albuquerque and get a radiator and these guys got it installed the same day. We've been home for three weeks and the work is holding up and the car runs great. SO IMPRESSED! Thank you.

My little cousin worked for Johnny and decided to get a better paying job gave his two weeks was not allowed to finish his two weeks and then left a tool there came back to retrieve it was told he had to pay $70 for a restocking fee of his shirts in order to get his tool back. My cousin would've went got a new tool but the tool was left to him by his father who had passed away when he was 15 . For someone to treat any human being like this will never get my business you should consider this when you take your business to him !

My experience with JV automotive was second to none, one of the best I have had. The service was not only outstanding but professionalism displayed by the owner is what left a lasting impression of how a business should be ran. Courtious and prompt, small town prices with big city knowledge and resources!! As for the low review i read, all i can say is that is unfortunate for the young man...but do know all places of employement require business policies and protection! This is a small family owned, local raised guy giving back to community in which most cant! Providing Quality Service, rasing local jobs and delivering avenues of resources for your city at your finger tips! Sounds like this was a simple case of business protecting self from unexpected costs that are not self proclaimed! Business will be just business, and emotions and life inconveniences have to viewed out of this situation for common sucess/productivity! Hats Off JV Professional Automotive, for standing strong and being a positive local influence! Thank you Johnny and Staff for all you do!!

Passing through town on I-25 and had an unexpected very minor but necessary repair. They were so nice and squeezed me in right away on a Friday afternoon, we re courteous, professional and helpful. Wow-I was so lucky to find this shop! Thank you!!!
