Was passing through the area when our truck towing a travel trailer died. Wilton did his best to find the problem and was fair in his prices, really appreciated his effort and help with out truck and travel trailer.

This is the only place I will take my vehicle, because they are highly skilled and honest. Everything gets fixed right the first time around, at a fair price. Plus, they're nice! The shop stays busy but it's well worth it to wait my turn.

I can t believe I never reviewed All Around because I recommend them to everyone. Owner Wilton is super skilled and conscientious. If it takes longer than he thought, there is always a good reason. He has been maintaining all my vehicles for years and keeping them going longer than expected. He doesn t overcharge or do unnecessary work. His work never needs to be redone. He never talks down to me (as a woman- so many have) and explains exactly what he did and why. He is super busy due to his excellent reputation which is the only drawback when needing non-urgent things done. You will be behind people who need him more. But that will sometimes be YOU so respect it! Also his life partner is now his office admin and she is amazing, too. I had my truck break down in the middle of nowhere and had it towed to this shop because it was the closes reputable repair facility, per State Farm. I dropped my vehicle off after hours and it was ready to be picked up in one business day. The repair was done correctly and at an incredibly reasonable cost. I would not hesitate to give them my business again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Despite my intuition we had an oil change here on our Mercedes SUV. Upon picking up the vehicle we were told that an air filter replacement was done; a classic scheme to get more money, however we specify requested this not be done as we are aware of the technicalities with the removal of specific engine parts to access the air filter and did not have trust in this mechanic to do things properly. Well after driving over a mountain pass eight hours from home the car conked out and we had to wait an entire day to be towed to a Denver Mercedes repair shop. Here we were told that the last person to touch the turbo of the car didn t attach it properly and our turbo was blown and would cost $5000+ to fix. The mechanic specifically asked if someone had changed an air filter recently since this past was exactly the part that needed to be removed. Low and behold we are out near $10k and not the car or our fault. Don t go here.Service: Oil change

Only mechanic I trust.. I've used him a couple times and always friendly, greets you with a smile very friendly. Staff person she is absolutely wonderful. She is quite funny once you get get going..lol. I felt like very comfortable and at ease with them. Highly recommend all around auto to anyone, very reasonable and I'm always happy to pay their affordable prices.. thank you to Winton and staff!!

I called in on the last minute in need of an oil change, they gladly accepted me and they completed my oil change immediately. The downfall to going to a private mechanic, as opposed to Jiffylube for example, is they didn't check all my other fluids and Vacuum my car out. They did, however, check my tire pressure, window cleaner and cleaned the windshield. A little higher priced than other small auto repair places for an oil change, but the quickness made up for it.

This is the only place my wife and I bring our vehicles and we live an hour and a half away. Towed my vehicle to be fixed professionally so it wont die out on me anymore cuz (i live in a different city) it died out here in Socorro. Friends told me about this place & stated to me that it was the best. After paying over $1,000 my vehicle still died & the windows i asked them to fix also do not work but one but according to them i cannot receive a refund because they fixed my vehicle which died on my way home (which i had to pay to have towed once again) and at least one of my windows go down so its considered fixed to them also. Went to mechanics in my town & fixed the problems right & now it runs good. I do not recommend anyone going here cuz its straight up highway robbery and U Wont get Ur Car Fixed Right ot Even at All but U will be charged top dollar.

Fixed my brakes quickly as possible and charged less than expected. It's nice to be back on the road quickly, knowing I'm driving safely again. Thanks! (there sign on the corner doesn't look like much, but it shows they've been around for a few years)

My car started to make some wierdo noises on my way down to T or C, so I pulled over and saw a giant peice of plastic bent under my car that was scraping against the ground as I drove. I googled closest machanic and came to all around auto. I filled out the paperwork and the man that helped me was so nice and helpful. He got me taken care of in just a few minutes. I would recommend this place highly. Service was outstanding.

I should have written this review 8 months ago but I was slacking. After a miserable experience at a dealer I decided if I can take the time to write their bad review there's no reason I shouldn't give all around auto the best review they deserve. It was new years eve and I was returning to Denver from Tucson when I saw coolant mist in my rear view mirror and my car started running hot about 40 miles from soccoro. Luckily I made it to their shop incident free but losing my mind over an expensive repair so far from home. You know how these newer cars like to have what used to be all the simplest cheapest parts buried under 8 hours of labor nowadays and like I said it was new years eve, well the morning of. These guys could have seen me coming with out of state plates on a holiday and worked it to their advantage but they didn't. The garage was full but they immediately dropped a car off the rack to put mine on. They checked for leaks saw there wasn't one and let me know it was just a bad radiator cap, sent me next door to the parts store for coolant and a new cap, got the air out of my cooling system charged my a quarter hour labor and got me back on the road. Just to put this in perspective I just had the same problem( no fault of theirs, I had a coolant flush 8000miles after this incident so their work stood fast but they did warn me not get a cheap radiator cap and the top dollar aftermarket isn't as good as oem from the dealer I discovered) this time midas couldn't diagnose the problem so I took it to the dealer who did. However the dealer had my car for 4 days the first time, billed me for a full coolant flush and only after contacting the bbb and 3 visits is air removed from my system. I honestly feel guilty I didn't write this earlier now. I never want to break down traveling but if I do I hope its near Socorro so I can take it to these guys and have peace of mind.

My son is in school at NMT and his 96 Jeep was having lots of problems. I took it in and they realized when PEP boys replace his water pump they had done it wrong. They reconnected it correctly and were very reasonable. The car has run perfectly since then.

My spark plug fell out of the engine just north of Socorro, had my car towed here because of the great reviews. They replaced the spark plug, but left the damaged spark plug boot, which caused misfires. In the picture you can see a chunk of rubber missing, that lack of insulation around the top of the spark plug will allow arcing, making the plug useless. They told me it was running fine, but apparently they didn't test it very long because the cylinder started misfiring before even hitting the freeway. They were closing as I left, so I couldn't really take it back.I would understand if they didn't have the part on hand....but they are right next to a NAPA, and their website says they have them in stock. They could have at least given me a heads up that this might pose a problem.After replacing the damaged ignition wire, the car now runs smoothly. Definitely was over charged for this service. Left it at two stars because I do appreciate at least having my vehicle up and running well enough to get back to Albuquerque.

Had my car fixed here 3 months back the part he put on broke off it was no fault of theirs though common issue with this vehicle and he replaced the part for the cost of parts only no labor so real happy about that they always seem real friendly here
