Sickest shop in town! Perfect stop if you are doing the CDT (Continental Divide Trail) and they help with getting your bike shipped when your done. They are big time bikepackers and bikepacking community support.Very unique what they're doing here with a Full Service repair/Retail business partnered up with a Non-profit community program to work on your own bikes with tools and advice/help supplied!!! 2 business under one roof and the inventory is OFF THE HOOK!!! WELL stocked for a shop in a small town with all the usual necessities and popular market trend items and bikes.The staff and Owner are soooo incredibly helpful and detail oriented, really know their stuff, they're Certifed Shimano and USA Cycling Race Mechanics and love bikes! Super easy going and approachable and polite ready to take on anything on the spot! Had me in and out with awesome prices, highly recommend! Will be back!

Came into town only knowing 4 people... but when you walk in the door at The Bike Works, you feel like you're part of the community. I bought a starter bike since I'm new to the mountain biking scene, but they absolutely care about quality and maintenance. Thank you guys for making the process smooth and comfortable!

This is my go to bike shop for when I come to New Mexico. When i was shopping for a gravel bike I knew i was going to Bike Works first. I found a nice one from a small bike brand " Fairdale" they also had a good selection of use bikes too. The staff is awesome to work with I got everything I needed for the bike even a custom frame pack that one of the staff are making.

I was in desperate need of a repair to my bike and this shop came in clutch when I needed it the most! The shop was technically closed but Dave and Alex were generous souls and let me in! Really beautiful, creative mission to the shop and I wish them the best!

David, Jesse, and the rest of the staff are all super friendly, very knowledgeable, and great fun to chat with. There's a dizzying selection of bikes to choose from. Cruisers, Klunkers, road bikes, mountain bikes, etc. They have more used bikes than you can shake a stick at! There are some of the best vintage bikes I've seen in a long time. It's a straight up treasure trove of two wheeled candy. The Bike Works is where I'll be taking my ride for service, and where I'll be shopping for gear. My lady found the BEST purple mountain bike ever!And DUDE! I just snagged the coolest OG Schwinn chopper bike! I'ma be cruising to work in style, homies! Werd...

Dave was so helpful during the pandemic I got a bike that needed a lot of work and he hooked it up, I love all the folks that work there! They do great work for the community too!

The chain on my son's bike kept falling off so we hobbled over to the Bikeworks. Dave took the bike immediately and spent over 30 minutes giving it the star treatment with his solid gold wrench. I'm not joking to say we got the V.I.P. treatment. He's the absolute best. And Athena the Cat made us feel right at home.

Dave is an absolute beast!I was in the middle of completing the Southern Tier bike route when I found out that my back tire was coming out of true. I notified Dave before I even got into town and went out of his way to help me out. He should probably be the mayor of Silver City (ha ha).On the real, be is phenomenal, extremely knowledgeable, and the shop seems to have anything and everything you could need for your biking needs!

The Bike Works is #1! I went there after a goathead attacked my back wheel and my bike fell apart and they helped me out tremendously. They even hooked me up with some slime so I don t get goatheaded again. Shout out to David!!

I came into the shop with two flats from multiple goatheads, well over 100. Thanks for sending me down the non-existent road Garmin. I am doing a perimeter tour of the US and am on mile 6,700 now and just another issue to deal with. Dave put my bike on the stand and hooked me up with some monster Schwalbe Hurricanes, plus an extra tube and repair kit. I can't recommend this bike shop enough. I would not hesitate to stop here for anything bicycle related. I'm so ecstatic, I may send them a Christmas card. Dave and his crew exemplify what a bicycle shop should be.

I had my bike stolen and went here for a replacement and was pleasantly surprised. Dave has new and used bikes, e-bikes, and other creative options! Honest bike shop with excellent service and a willingness to take on unique or challenging repairs!

We bought two bikes at this bike shop. The staff is friendly, easy going, and will know you on a first name basis after only one visit! What a gym in Silver City. They also do repairs and have basic bike accessories.
