Unfortunately wait time was a very long, even with an appointment for a very simple alignment nothing very extensive. I can understand waiting an extra 10 minutes after they brought me to my car to show me something that needed fixed and wrote up a estimate for a lower control arm but I was already there for an hour before that. It was a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes waiting for an alignment with a scheduled appointment time.I have done alignments professionally before and it never took that much time especially with an appointment.The front desk people were very nice, but the wait time was too long.

I can only assume that these people have no morals and feel just fine about ripping people off to the greatest degree possible with a professional smile.I was a mechanic for many years and in the last few years I have had 3 people reach out to me to verify the work that was suggested by R & L. I m all 3 occasions there was roughly $2000 extra items and labor that were not required. They even told a young single mother that her car was not safe to drive off the parking lot and she needed to have $3000 of work done. I fixed her car for her for $85 parts and one hour of labor. Nothing else was wrong with her car.

R&L was highly recommended to me for work on my vehicle and they did not disappoint! Great work on grille guard installation. It looks fantastic. Very pleased with the work.

We had been to Gila Cliff Dwellings and on the way out the Transmission line broke. The pickup was towed to R&l service. They check the pickup over and determined that both lines should be replaced. The parts had to come from Denver. They kept us informed of delivery and time frame it would be repaired. We are very thankful for all they did to get us back on the road.

I had a few issues with my vehicle. They charged my a/C with dye and refrigerant for $300 and change to find the leak, and quoted me $5000 for new catalytic converters, o2 sensors, and a tune up. Being mechanically inclined and hvac certified, I felt I was over charged. I took it to another shop and the a/C work done was about $100 more than what it should have been, and I had just the new catalytic converters and o2 sensors done in tucson for $1600. I will NOT be taking my vehicle back there. I heard rumor.... I don't mind paying good money for quality work, but not being over charged and taken to the bank!

My experience with vehicles and their mechanics is limited; however my limited experience with R&L Services has revealed a lot.My dad Chad Jordan, had contacted R&L to do simple tuning on his 72 Scout II international, around 2020.Their bill charged him for a variety of pieces and parts that were either not changed, or not installed correctly. For example: the distributor cap was not even clipped on, and the carburetor was missing a cap on a vacuum port...After a day of watching YouTube, and getting help from my grandfather, we were able to tune the truck better than what the mechanics from R&L could do on two separate occasions.I'm very disappointed also because, I was told in person that the owners spoke with my father over the phone and they decided not to work with him anymore. The only contact he himself has had with R&L was his post and their reply on this website.

Friendly service. Have had work done there before with no complaints. This time, i talked to the person at the desk, and explained what service I had done elsewhere and the issue I needed fixed. I was told it was not a problem and their tech knew what was going on and could fix. A half hour job, told it would take an hour. Ok. It ended up being over two and a half hours. Nothing was fixed. Was told tech did not know how to correct the issue with my truck. I like the service and people of R and L, but this time I was disappointed with it all. Waste of time and money and fuel on my part. Seemed desk and/or tech did not listen to what I had told them. The one good thing was that the fro t counter only.chargwd me half an hour of labor.

Went in for a low tire fill up and a nail was the culprit, since I was going on a trip l didn t need any surprises they were able to get it fixed and on my way! Thank you, Elijah for your prompt attention to help me get to where l needed to be going!

Took my car in for routine service, replace filters, belts, etc. Unfortunately had to go back twice because engine started running rough, but it turned out manufacturer had recommended wrong spark plug boots! Totally not R&L s fault, but not only did Elijah figure out the correct parts and rush order them, he installed them and replaced the spark plugs a second time, for no charge. The car is running better than ever! Thank you

Not really happy with tune-up, vehicle runs slightly better on flat ground but still will not climb up a hill with power. Multiple attempts by the shop to fix it, hopefully someday they can figure out how to adjust a carburetor. Other minor parts replaced, fluids never topped off, air filter never changed, still backfires now and again. It seems like this shop takes time to fiddle around with the piddly things and did not complete the tune-up as requested. $1900.00 and still does not run correctly.Response: Nice neutral response thank you. The vehicle is not over 50 years old. It has a rebuilt motor that needed tuning up. You charged me for a carburetor kit, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, lots of tuning up pieces and parts that never happened. So it tells me you never even looked under the hood you just charged me for parts. You knew I was out of town while this work was being done and I had to trust you to complete what you said you did. Once I looked at the vehicle a month after you did the work it's obvious you charged me for work you did not do, and the vehicle doesn't run correctly just slightly better. (A little better now thanks to Milton and Herbie from Cliff) I have a lot of custom work under that hood that is still there that you said you replaced. I only post this review so that you don't take advantage of anybody else like you have done me and my family. I've been around this town about 28 years and have a very good reputation of my work with integrity and honor leading my work ethics. Sorry you didn't learn that through your life.

I just got an oil change, which was a tad expensive in my opinion. However, the expense was balanced out favorably with a) being able to supply my own oil and filter, b) how quick the service itself was and c) the excellent customer service I received at the front desk and over the phone with the employees there.

Disappointed. Brought in the car with a noise, they diagnosed it needed the differential oil changed. I paid over 160 and the car was in the shop for over 5 hours. Noise didn't stop, I went to an in and out lube, they noticed the gasket wasn't changed so there was a leak. For 70 dollars they fixed the leak and changed the oil again.I felt R n L was not thorough, little attention to detail. Would not go back

Would not even discuss helping me because I had my own oil sending unit. They just wanted to upcharge the parts they get. All about the dollar!

I received great service on car a/c. Had an appointment and they were ready for me. I received updates as work progressed. Very professional and courteous staff. Also observed service given to others as I waited. All received excellent help. Highly recommended this shop.
