Great friendly people. I highly recommend. Family and I broke down moving on a Sunday and they were open can came and gave us and our trailer a tow. Victor is a awesome guy. My 2 year old was blowing him kisses when we were getting out of the tow truck.

The check engine light came on in my Chevy diesel pickup - on a Sunday.They ran a diagnostic test and identified the issue. They had me back in the road in under 3 hours and at a VERY reasonable charge.Thank you to their diesel mechanic, John, and all the rest of the people at the shop who helped out.

On a dark, cold night I found myself alone with my little dog on the side of the road, out of gas. I hadn't figured on the weight of the trailer going uphill & how that would drain my tank! These folks were the very best price, came with gas for me, jumpstarted my Jeep, & put me back on the road in less than an hour! They were kind, happy to help, & emailed me my receipt.Y'all saved an old lady's life that cold January night when it was snowing everywhere in the USA!Thank you, Ortega's Wrecker Service!

This is by far the best shop I have ever had the experience of dealing with. If you are looking for experienced mechanics, great service and reasonable prices then I highly recommend Ortega's!My family broke down in our RV and we were treated like family. We were given a place to stay in our RV for 2 nights at no additional cost (the night we broke down and the night following service). Their experienced mechanics were able to efficiently and effectively troubleshoot an electrical short, replace the damaged wires and components in an afternoon on a late 80s RV.I highly recommend Ortega's to anyone. We will be making this shop a destination for service in our future travels!

Headed eastbound on I -40 we had a wheel bearing on our trailer go out. Luckily pulled of the interstate and happened to stop right in front of Ortega s. Within 18 hours and on a Sunday these folks had us up and running back on the highway. Well deserved 5 star rating. Thank y all so much

I am grateful they came out, But when they got done, they handed me the bill and I was going to pay with a card which they knew that from when I talk to them at the beginning. They wanted to change the price and add a 3% fee for using my card. They should ve mentioned that at the beginning, so I called back to talk to the lady at the office and she got really rude and hung up on me, and their driver threatened to tow our vehicle & impound it, if we did not pay it. Again, they should ve mentioned that at the very beginning not after the work was done and you don t threaten people that s not a very good way to do business so I paid the bill that was on the ticket and not the 3% fee. They should remember next time to disclose that at the beginning not after the work is done!!

Ortega's wrecker service are professional, caring and quick to get me taken care of. I was traveling from out of State. Had a tire blow out on the 40-Hwy. From the time I called AAA, to Ortega's arriving it was less than 30 minutes. I was so impressed, I waited til the next morning and went to purchase my tire. The tech who changed my tire was very quick and checked all my other tires as well. I know if I ever have an issue in the Santa Rosa, NM area I will definitely use this business again.

On my move from Texas to Colorado. We had car problems. What looked it was going to be a simple Spark plug replacement turned into a clogged catalytic converter. When the put it on the lift I notice a rear axle seal leak. They went above and beyond s to make sure the Truck was safe for me to continue with my 2 kids. Thank you Ortega s and Charlie for taking care of us. Highly recommend Them for your auto repairs.

I showed up with a 1980 VW vanagon and some parts, asking for them to install them. Was able to talk to the mechanics directly and they started work within 15 minutes of me getting there. Job was done quickly and well. Price was more than reasonable.Thanks to Ortega s we are back on the road.Highly recommend.

Our truck broke down headed to the lake , with the recommendation of my friend I gave Ortegas a call . These kind folks were nice enough to get our truck off the highway and hold it over night and safely delivered it this morning . We will recommend your services to anyone we hear of needing them in your area .

Was down in Santa Rosa in a rental car. Car had a flat. Tried calling rental car service emergency line and was on the phone for over an hour. Wife was on phone with AAA for 30 minutes at same time. Got done with useless rental car agent and went to the front desk to ask for a local shop. They gave me Ortega's #. In the 60' walk back to the room, I overheard the person on the phone at Ortega's, "Hey Anthony, head over to hotel, flat tire." Person then says, "Our guy will be there in 5 minutes." He was. The tire was aired up, I followed them over to the shop. They fixed the tire very quickly and it was a very fair price. Will definitely call them first if I ever have issues on future trips down near Santa Rosa.Service: Tires

On an interstate trip when the tire indicator light goes on. Turns out a bulge on the tire that required replacement. These folks were friendly, fast and replaced the tire quickly. Their professionalism turned a very upsetting situation around. Safely back in the road. Thanks for excellent service

We broke down on Christmas morning and called Ortega's. Although the driver's were all given the day off, they graciously sent one to our rescue and were very kind through it all. Our driver, George, was very kind to our family even though he had to leave his to come and help us. Ortega's helped us make the best of a frustrating situation. Thank you!

Trusted Company and Great Staff. Support small/local business. Highly recommendedI am grateful that there are still good and honest people out there. On 30DEC my younger brother and dad were stranded on I-40 near Santa Rosa, NM on their way to California when our a wheel completely sheared off from the hub. They took the car to Otega Auto and was impressed how caring and accommodating the staff were. They even drove my family to the local hotel since we had to wait for the hub and wheel bearings to arrive the next day.I am so blessed and grateful that there are still good people in this world like the staff and owner of the family run and operated company.

Motorcycle trip. Stopped at a rest stop outside of Santa Rosa. One rider was ill, disoriented, weak. Called AAA and they set us up with Ortega s. They were quick to call and dispatch a driver. Vito showed up and loaded the bike quickly and professionally. He insured we were comfortable with how the bike was strapped down AND had the appropriate type of straps. Total time from call to load was about 45 minutes.Everyone was professional, knew where we were based on description, down to the mile marker. I cannot say enough good things about these folks!! Thank you so much for your help!!

Our car broke down in little Santa Rosa, and I will never forget that the owner of this place got us in on a Sunday morning. He walked us through an explanation of this car's unique gas-tank vacuum seal and why it's important to get it sealed fully after filling up. Then he sent us on our way. What a blessing this place is!

All I want to say is ortegas you all are the best I got stranded from a vacation on the way back from las Vegas Nevada my alternator failed on me and shut down around Santa Rosa and the first people I called was ortegas they got me and my people to a hotel and first thing in the a.m they fixed it and had us ready to go in the a.m God bless y'all I made it home.

Ortega's is the shop AAA got me in contact with for an emergency tow and I can see why AAA is contracted with them. They fixed our car same day, which was looking impossible, and were done in under an hour. Charlie and Allie were so helpful. Blew a tire and buckled another due to road construction on WB I-40. Called AAA and no one would come from Albuquerque, as we were 70 miles east. Ortega's took the wrecker call, even though we were located 50 miles west of them. They confirmed that they had the size tires that we needed before we even arrived. We were back on the road 30 minutes after we were towed to their shop on the flatbed. If we could rate them at 100, we would. They definitely rescued us during our cross-country trip from New York to Nevada! Thank you!Service: Tires

Van started giving me trouble on I40.Quick google search and Ortega s had good reviews. Limped the van to their shop. Dealt with Charlie.Got me right in, diagnosed the problem, fixed it. Charged me a very fair price and got me on the road.Didn t try to take advantage of me traveling through. Great work and good prices. Fantastic experience.At the shop maybe 30 minutes and back on the road. Highly recommend.

I was broken down on my way to Colorado and Anthony with Ortega wrecking and repair picked me up asap. The crew went right to work seeing what my issue was even though they were ready to close for the day. They transported me to a beautifully maintained hotel super 8 and gave me an emergency rate for my stay. I highly recommend them and I am so thankful that I found them in my time of need. 5 stars all the way super friendly helpful and honest.Thank you!

My 1955 Ford broke down about 10 miles outside of town. George came and towed me in. We discussed the symptoms and possible causes. While I was expecting to spend a couple of days. , and a lot of money, he pointed out the very small problem that caused my breakdown, while she was still on the flatbed. Problem solved.Ortega's service was fast, friendly, efficient, and we were laughing the whole way, and the whole time (which is really good, as I was 1800 miles from home, with a not very thick wallet, over Memorial day weekend, in the middle of a Plague).I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with George, at Ortega's Wrecker and Repair. Would that ALL of my experiences were this good!!!!

This family run business is the best service you could possibly ask for. My wife & I were traveling through to Arizona & noticed a broken leaf spring on my trailer. They did not hesitate to look after us. & 4 hours latter we were on our way. I felt a great relief & all of there staff were top notch, and they price they charged me was more than fair.Thanks againServices: Tires, Steering & suspension replacement

We had an issue with our trailer axels while going through town towing our 42' 5th wheel. The Ortega's were called and arrive within 15mins. Right away they got under the trailer to diagnose. Extremely great customer service, knowledgeable and hard working to get us back on the road. I honestly can't reccomend this company enough. If they aren't your first call for any vehicle/towing needs while passing through Santa Rosa, your not setting yourself up for a quick fix.

Wonderful service and they got us in immediately. Our car showed low tire pressure and Alley, Sabrina and Charlie took care of us with kindness and professionalism. We were blessed to find them.
