At the end of July, we were traveling on a cross country trip. We had bought new tires prior to the trip but discovered that we were missing a lug nut. The owner was kind enough to check all of our tires and gave us advice on where to get a new chrome lug nut. We went to Napa Auto Parts (another great experience) and when we returned to Bozos, he spun it on. We appreciate the kindness and peace of mind that came with it.

The owners and employees are very good and customer service-oriented. Museum was very cool, with a lot of nostalgia and history. Quality people and a quality organization.

I can't thank these guys enough! I was on a super tight budget, on my way to Albuquerque. My trailer tire blew out at their exit.No one I called had tires, the size I needed, except them. They were courteous, quick, professional, and affordable. They got me in, a tire at my budget, & back on the road again in less than 20 minutes!Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Got a flat, Google said Napa (right next door) was closest and recommended. I went there and the guy immediately told me I'd have to wait 1-1.5hrs before he'd even look at the issue. He recommended me Bozos. I called and Tim told me to come on down. He assessed and figured out the issue. Unfortunately needed a new tire due to it being a sidewall puncture. They let me keep my car inside their shop overnight. My insurance company tried to get me a tow but the company kept pushing the time back and then just cancelled me. Tim helped me get my low, BMW M3 on his trailer and got me and the car to Albuquerque to get the tire. Super friendly, family run business that I can't say enough good things about. Thank you Tim!

Very good service! Super guys! Very faster! Thank you very much all staff! They help us! Our family grateful this company! Really good people! I saw that the tire was rapidly losing pressure and at 9 psi i pulled over to the side of the road. Since we have driven many miles the rear tire have fallen into disrepair. I called 911 and asked for help. And the transportation company brought us the nearest car reapair shop and driver say about hotel. Suggested a hotel for convenience. But there at the workshop we waited until the morning. On the morning af seven the master came. And looked at the wheels. He said that two rear tires need to be changed. And since they have to be driven, it will take at least five hours. And he also offered to wait at the hotel. It was very nice. We went to the Pilot and subway inside and decided to eat. We ate well and returned early 11 am and to our surprise that one tire was already down and five minutes later the second one and then i added air to the front tires. We thanjed and go. Highlyvrecommend. Wonderful experience. They will solve my problem even if they need to drive for several hours.

I got in a wreck after my tire popped on the 40hwy. I got towed to this garage and they not only got my car running and me back on the road for another 600 miles the same day, they charged me with a fair and great price. They saved my trip

They came in clutch when I was in a pinch with my truck. I was attempting to drive a truck I'd recently purchased from ElPaso to Michigan when the wheel sheered itself and the lugs out I-40. After 2 days of trying to fix it on the side of I-40, I just had it towed to their shop. They were busy with other cars, but more than happy to lend me their tools so I could replace the hub and knuckle assembly myself. We were able to get it swapped out, and get my truck back on the road in a matter of hours.

Long story short, we hit a deer on the way while passing through. The radiator had been messed up pretty thoroughly from it. Once we had a hold of the part, we called around for a mechanic. These guys were the only shop we spoke to in Santa Rosa who were polite and happy to take a look. We brought it by, and the mechanic got right on it. Less than 2 hours later we were back on the road. These good people saved our vacation. I would definitely recommend them.

We had an awesome experience with this shop. We blew a tire on our 42 foot 5th wheel trailer 20 miles from their shop. We have road side assistance through good Sam. Finally after not hearing from anyone we called back Good Sam to see what was going on and the customer service rep forgot to dispatch our call. So the new CSR did and we finally got help. The tire was of course blown on the drivers side but Juan didn t hesitate to help us out. We gave him a tip and he was reluctant to take it and said he was just doing his job.Well we couldn t have asked for better road side service. Their shop didn t carry the spare we needed to replace but helped us locate who might.Don t be haters. Use small business. Make reviews on the positive and your frustrations.

Can t recommend this place enough! My Ford Escape died on I-40W during my move from North Carolina to Arizona so I had it towed to Bozos since it was one of the closest repair shops nearby. Found out the engine needed to be replaced but I didn t have the money right away. Tim, one of the mechanics, offered to give me a ride to the Albuquerque bus station an hour and a half down the road so I could get to Arizona & move into my apartment on time. A few weeks later I was able to get the money I needed to cover the repairs and thankfully during that time they had already located a solid replacement salvage engine, which was completely installed a few days later. I took a bus back to New Mexico and Juan, the shop manager, was gracious enough to give me a ride back from Tucumcari (the closest Greyhound stop to Santa Rosa) when I arrived even though they were extremely busy that day. Engine works great so far two weeks later. 500+ miles back to Arizona with no issues is definitely a good sign. Even though getting stranded in New Mexico sucked, the guys at Bozos went above and beyond to help me out and get me back on the road as quickly as possible. Would definitely be back for routine maintenance if I lived in the area. A++!!! Update - December 2020: engine still runs great & I have these guys to thank! Thank you Juan and Tim for helping me out when I was (literally) down to my last dollar.

This shop went above and beyond for me and my dad. My Volkswagen Beetle started having transmission trouble and when we stopped here, they said that they do not work on VWs, however, we can use their lift and take a look ourselves. Everyone was super nice for us and they went down the road themselves to get the transmission fluid we needed. They all gave a little help and I personally will be forever grateful.

Best described as, your worst nightmare when you breakdown 2,000 miles from home, the day before Thanksgiving, and the nearest Ford dealer is over 100 miles away. After researching and determining the problem with my new Ford I called Bozos and asked if they would order me a relay module for the fuel pump. The next day they tried to convince me that I needed a fuel pump. Luckily, I was able to get the car to start and drove to the Ford dealership, purchased the part I needed and installed it myself in 15 minutes. Total cost 40 dollar's. Need I say more.

I'm glad the place was there to get us back on the road in an emergency. However, the patch they put in the tire had a slow leak and, when I went to repair that today, I found that they had stripped two lug studs by being careless with an impact wrench. Don't go here unless you're desperate.

The people and services at Bozos Auto Garage were excellent and their 24hr towing service was amazing as well. My husband and I were traveling from Atlanta, GA to Albuquerque, NM. We broke down about 45 minutes from their shop in Santa Rosa around 3am and the man came and picked us up an hour after we called them. He was so helpful and kind. He even dropped us off at a hotel close to the garage so we would be close by. Our Truck was fixed and ready by 9am the next morning. Everyone was incredibly helpful and genuinely kind. It made this unfortunate event a lot more bareable. Thank you all so much!

Needed a new trailer tire after blowing one out while driving across the country. Did a good job with quick service and got me on my way. Plus, the hot rod shop has some really nice work going on! That was a nice bonus.

Had my ranger's drive-shaft blow up on a cross country trip. The guys at the shop were all welcoming and knowledgeable. Don't be mistaken, this shop does repairs however they are a specialty shop for sure. They have a museum just down the road with automobiles and memorabilia, displaying not just the history of the automobile, but a size-able chunk of their restoration portfolio. Even if you don't need a repair or restoration work done, you should definitely stop in to see their work!

Got at flat on the interstate, put the donut on and headed back toward Santa Rosa. Found bozos and they were able to fix our tire and put it back on right away. Super nice and helpful. Back on the road within 15 mins of pulling in! If you need help, this is the place to go.

I would give this place zero stars if there was an option. My cv axle started popping so I parked my car at loves and called a tow truck, my girl said have it towed to bozos so I did. Well after loading it on tube truck and offloading at bozos, in which I had to drive it a short distance to park it, I go back the next day after speaking to someone on the phone there, asked if they could give me estimate, they called back and told me an outrageous price. So I declined service and said I would be there to get my car soon. Well when I arrived and tried to put my car into drive, all I got was a loud ringing. I stepped out my car and notice ball bearing from the inside of the cv axel lying on the ground. So, I can understand that maybe it broke whilst they were doing the estimate, ok so why not tell me, instead let me find out on my own by bringing my transmission. The car was running when I parked it and when I got back it was messed up even worse and then ever. So I went and got a new cv axle and was gonna do it myself. Couldn't figure it out still I towed it myself up to another shop. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Especially if your a white person

BEST auto repair experience by far!!! Stuck with my 87 Bustachio (Ford e350, 460) in the desert for days, and these guys saved my life in just a few short hours. Cool a/c inside, great conversation and tremendously reliable service. Pricing tops it all!

My mother and I broke down with a broken serpentine belt on I40 just west of Santa Rosa, NM on a Friday afternoon on Labor Day weekend. We had AAA insurance. I called Bozo's since they were with AAA and they dispatched a roll back to pick us up. We were dropped off at a motel as they would not be able to fix it until the next morning. By 10:00 we were back on the road. All that was wrong was the belt and nothing else. They could have told us something else caused the belt to break. The charge was more than reasonable. They were not only fair but honest, too. The truck was packed full and nothing was missing.

Bozos is the perfect name for those lazy guys. went here looking for help since we were having trouble with our RV, we finally found a warm body on the property and asked for help, we start up our RV so he can listen to it, he says oh there aint nothing wrong with it and makes and excuse saying he had one that ran the same, he didnt even touch it, he didnt want our business and basically shewed us away. I dont recommend this place to anyone ever. We took our money down the road to the Rt 66 repair guys, very friendly and smart guys, not afraid to work. They even let us stay the night in their parking lot while we waited for parts.
