I had to take my car in to get the front windshield replaced and this was by far an excellent experience. Got the job done within just a few hours and the technician Jesse was awesome! He was very polite, helpful and made sure to answer any questions I had. Very positive experience.

Came during selected time frame and got my windshield replaced in a timely manner. The tech was knowledgeable and professional. Did a good job installing a new windshield. Recommend highly. Easy to do the claim through insurance and not pay out of pocket if you have a glass policy.

This was just perfect. Mr Safelite rolled up to our door, got out the necessary tools, the correct windshield and boom. Not more than 45 minutes later everything was clean, Inside and Out and totally perfect. I highly recommend Safelite !

John helped us out in a flash, offered detailed and thorough explanations re: damage and the work being done. John repaired my cracked windshield in about 20 mins as promised, and the results were amazing. Thank you, John for the kind and professional service! I would happily reccomend this location :)

The night prior to the date of my 8am appt, we had a 6+ inch snow store at my house. I had to drive 45 miles to the safelite location, 30 of those miles were very snow packed and icy. Traffic and I were driving much slower than I anticipated. I ended up arriving 25 minutes late to my 8am appt. When I entered the shop there were no other cars in the shop that looked like it could handle 3 cars. Six workers were standing around waiting for work. I was informed that I was 25 minutes late and that they had a 9am appt. My car would then be treated as an all day drop off and not ready until the end of the day. I am not sure how many people it takes to replace a windshield, but SIX guys standing around need something to do. This is my daughter s car and was the last day my daughter would be in state to repair it before driving back to college. I did not call the shop since the weather was bad and I was trying to get to the shop as soon as possible. In deciding what I was going to do, I was informed by the manager that my car had snow on it that I would have to clear off before it would be allowed in the shop. Additionally several signs said Snow is not our responsibility . Of course it had snow, 6+ inches of snow still on the roof and packed ice under the wheel wells and underside of the car from driving to the shop. Still deciding and talking with my wife, I started clearing the car as instructed. The manager told me not to clear the car in their parking lot, that I should do that elsewhere. At that point I decided that this shop did not need my business even if they could get it done sooner than the end of the day. I can get this work done somewhere that respects their customers. This is not the only glass shop in Santa Fe. I would recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

Safelite charged twice what other places in town estimated. I made the mistake of going with them because they are Geico's only authorized glass repair in the state. Given this monopoloy, they know they have a scam going, and literally charged twice what other shops estimated. Conveniently just under my Geico deductible.Go somewhere local. Get estimates before you commit to anything. Safelite is banking on you being gullible and going with the insurance partner without doing your research. I got screwed. Trying to help you not get screwed.Additional Update:1) Safelite did not provide any option for different qualities of glass. Following the windshilef replacement, there i now a loud sound from the engine which sounds like a blown out speaker.A Safelite technician inspected the seal and informed me that the glass he installed is inferior to the Subaru OEM Glass (again: I was never given an option) and this glass is less acoustically sealed, so they decline any responsibility for the fact that this 2018 in-great-shape car is now louder than an old jeep on the inside. So for the record:1) Safelite charged more than twice what local shops charge2) Safelite installed inferior glass for twice the price and assumes ZERO responsibility3) the glass has waves - it is not, in fact, clear. The wave in the glass are very obvious.Oh! But I can "chat" with an agent? Gosh how comforting. That should fix everything. A nice little "chat" with a bot.

I scheduled an appointment to get my windshield replaced. I went there, and they said they couldnt do it that day and to schedule another appointment. the next available appointment was a week away, so i scheduled that. the night before my appointment, i get an email that it is cancelled. I tried calling a bunch of phone numbers to figure it out, but they were all automated systems that hung up on me.

Jerrod Delgado and Jon Fernanadez were amazingly professional and fixed my side window in no time. They called me the day before to confirm and showed up when they said they would. They were a pleasure to chat with and did a great job!!! Cant recommend them and Safelite enough. When I first called, to after the glass was replace, it was an all around great experience!!Service: Auto side window replacement

"Certified technician" Patrick Vance replaced the windshield on our car at our home as part of Safelite's mobile service. He arrived, groughly asked for access to the vehicle, and showed my wife the new windshield. He replaced the windshield, rang the doorbel, and told my wife the keys were "in it" and immediately left without giving her the opportunity to check his work.As it turned out, Patrick installed the incorrect piece of glass and did a poor job in doing so. Upon my inspection I noted:1. There was a 1/4" wide strip of eurethane gasket material protruding along the inside of the driver's side A pillar for probably 8-10 inches.2. The windshield was installed off-center by nearly half an inch to the passenger side. Aside from being aesthetically unpleasing, this left a physical gap between the top driver's side moulding and the glass edge of the windshield.3. Patrick's greasy black fingerprints were all over the beige interior of the car (A pillar, headliner, etc).4. The glass was the wrong piece. The tinting at the base of the windshield did not come up high enough to conceal the inside of the A-pillar behind the interior trim. This was incredibly noticeable from the exterior.5. At the top of the cowling (base of the windshield were two large globs of eurethane that were clearly obvious upon inspection and served no purpose (as he later indicated they were to "hold down" the "old rubber" molding). We filed a warranty claim with Safelite, and Patrick returned to fix his work. I marked each discrepancy with a small piece of painter's tape so I would remember to address each issue in turn with him. When he arrived for the warranty work, I went outside to find him with 4 or 5 pieces of the tape removed from the windshield. He immediately demanded "Well, what's wrong with it?!" After explaining the significance of the tape markers he was removing, he immediately began defending his awful tradesmanship all the while telling me "This windshield is installed correctly, or you wouldn't be able to read the VIN in the window at the bottom!" As I pointed out to him, even the VIN was off-center in the window.I asked what more could be done because I was not satisfied with his work. He called his manager at the shop (Joshua Blevins) who agreed to meet with me later that afternoon. While on the phone, I witnessed him making false claims to the manager that there's "not a thing wrong" with the windshield, but the customer wanted to see him anway.Bottom line, Patrick Vance is not to be trusted to service your automobile. If you choose this Safelite, and Patrick arrives, just send him away! He is not trustworthy, shoddily performs his vocation, and takes no pride in his work or your vehicle!Service: Auto windshield replacement

Called the shop after my windshield was replaced to tell them the lane departure system was not working. They suggested I just had not turned the system back on. Wrong. Went back to the shop the next morning. After 2.5 hours they had not resolved the issue. I have had two previous windshield replacements and this was not an issue. So why now? I was told it was an issue with getting codes to resolve. I will be taking my truck to another shop to get this fixed.Follow-up: Tried to get these issues resolved at two other Safelite shops (one in Albuquerque, another in Scottsdale, AZ). None of the Safelite shops could figure out what was wrong. Three strikes and Safelite is out. Took my truck to the dealer that services my vehicle. They determined the shop had damaged the Driver Assistance System Module (DASM, the "box" around the mirror that houses the camera and radar sensors). The good news is that my automobile insurance will cover the cost of diagnosis (~$350) and the new DASM (~$2,000!). The insurance company will, in turn, recover costs from Safelite.

I took the day off work twice to drive down to Santa Fe to fix my windshield. The first time they canceled at the last second the second time I showed up and they had the wrong windshield. I see other reviews about the horrible customer service and agree that management is a mess that I took absolutely no accountability for the team are the company making these mistakes and communicating about them at the last second. Additionally, trying to speak to the store directly it is near impossible unless they call you even if you wait on the phone and get a customer service person. They are unable to direct you to speak to someone at the location.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The Santa Fe, NM shop had terrible customer service. Had an appointment for 1 pm, showed up on time, and left when the only person in the shop came out, asked for someone who wasn t there, then went into hiding again. Corporate office couldn t contact anyone at the shop. Can t recommend Safelite in Santa Fe.

Beware of FRAUD!!! Technician said window couldn't be fixed, no service was performed but they still created a claim, billed my insurance company and were paid. Now I'm dealing with the mess, multiple phone calls to insurance company and Safelite, still trying to get this straightened out. Will never go back.

Awful is the nicest thing I can say about these clowns. 2 missed appointments cancelled day of, claim windshield not in (which after the first missed appointment guaranteed there by second, nope), and the car is popular and everywhere else in Santa Fe has the windshield. You will spend hours dealing with clowns in a centralized center (you can never talk to the local place), who are fairly clueless, and then time spent changing all the insurance stuff around because you give up on Safelite. From my experience and reviews I have read this company has deep systemic problems with their systems (they know nothing about their own inventory and accurate delivery dates), they screw up a lot and seem amazingly incompetent. Thanks for wasting a lot of my time for absolutely nothing because Safelite is so horribly run. I also checked at having this done by Safelite where my son is taking the car for school and same horrible reviews, total incompetency appointments constantly cancelled, and awful work to boot.Added update, Son went to another autoglass company, had windshield in stock, no problems. Safelite appears to have serious problems with their inventory control.

Made appt to replace windshield online. Less than 24 hours prior, received email that I had been rescheduled because part didn t arrive. 8 days later Install was fast but not impressive. Bits of rubber all over dash and interior. Black fingerprints everywhere. Interior trim fell off same day. If they weren t the only place that carried a replacement for my car, I definitely would have gone to a local shop.

Terrible experience, will make windshield worse than to begin with ask insurance for your own independent repair shop.

I gave 2 stars only because the technicians that do the work are great so I gave them 5 but deducted 7 for the automated system. Trying to contact anyone at safelite ia an absolute joke. Their automated system has to be the absolute worst! You have to call their main universal number which is trash but even if you call the local number they NEVER answer.

Safelite AutoGlass was a BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT, I went online to schedule appointment to get back window replaced on a 2002 Subaru Outback wagon. All information was provided, and it never mentioned that window was not in stock. After 3 weeks of getting told that they didn't have window and it would cost extra to get from an Original Material Manufacturer (OEM), they recommended we search on our own with local businesses.Long Story short:*Safelite $933.08 (three weeks still couldn't find back window)* Five J's Auto Salvage $100 (had a back window)*Speedy Glass Santa Fe (installed in one hour)Five J's Auto Salvage and Speedy had it all done in 1 day. And I saved, $783.08!

I made an online appointment with Safelite Santa Fe, NM. They have a local phone number listed but it goes into an automated recording; no live person to speak with. You can't reach them even at their national number. The biggest thing they promote is going to your location to replace your windshield. Not in Santa Fe. You have to schedule and drop your vehicle off at their store. The cost for their service is the most expensive I found getting quotes from various windshield replacement businesses. I used Safelite some years ago but will not use them ever again. If a company can't deliver on what they most promote/advertise - going to you to get the job done and they are the most expensive quote, be wise and find another company locally. This place is a nightmare trying to contact so if something goes wrong...good luck trying to get them to address the issues. Go local not with a terrible franchise.

This place sucks. I had a great experience with another location in Arizona but this one was unbelievably rude. I spoke with a guy named Jerry and he had nothing but a rude attitude and I felt like I was being lied to about my appointment. The call center would say one thing and then the shop would say another. I am extremely disappointed in how I was treated on the phone and cancelled all business with them.

Horrible service!!!.. I called in August to get our windshild replaced. we had a tech come to our home mid September to replace it. When the tech left, you could hear wind coming through the top of the windshield and our wiper was not working. We came to the Santa Fe office which the guy fixed the wiper and scheduled a warranty fix. We got a message saying our replacement was not going to be ready till December 22nd. I went into the office Saturday October 22, 2022 to talk to the new manager. unfortunately, we were not greeted when we got there and waited in the lobby for about 20 minutes. A tech by the name of John drove a truck he was working on out of the garage, then greeted the other customers who came in after us and started to help them. When he passed by i said "excuse me" to get his attention. I told him that we had been waiting for some time and the response i got was "you need to go back to the garage where we are working to get our attention, i can't hear when you walk in" I didn't know they allow customers in the work area nor was there a sign saying to do so. When I finally was able to talk to John about the windshield, he explained that the windshield is more then likely on backorder. I asked him since I have to wait will December for a replacement, the weather has been rain lately, if they are going to cover any damages if it starts to leak through the windshield. The response I got was " I'm not sure, thats above my pay grade. I replace windows and seals. You will have to ask the manager." He gave me a card told me he recommended me call the manager and walked away. I am completely unhappy with the whole situation. I left a message Thursday for the manager to get back to me as he called and left a voice mail saying he hopes he could help me quicker then December but he never returned my phone call. I am extremely disappointed.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Had an appointment set for 9 am. Note we live 1 1/2 hours away. We got to the appointment and sat there waiting we were giving an estimate of 2-3 to complete( they knew we would be waiting for the vehicle in their lobby) 12 comes around truck had not been worked on. My husband asked and they said about 1 more hour .. he was going to leave but noticed they had moved the wiring where the window would be worked on. Needless to say my husband ended up leaving at 4... why make an appt when you can't see your customer at your set time. Service was horrible i called and they played the not it game while handing it back and forth. They also kept running customers off saying they couldn't help them. I called and ask them to take my husband lunch for the time they wasted NOPE nothing no apologies no gift certificate or anything for there disgusting service. DO NOT USE THEM ...WORST SERVICE EVER,...We WERE FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS ALSO...I Would NOT GIVE THEM ANY STARS...DO NOT BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS...IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO WASTE A WHOLE DAY ,THIS IS YOUR PLACE TO BE. 7 Hours later he was free.. STAY FAR FROM THIS COMPANY..Services: Auto power window repair, Installation

Terrible customer service. Replaced the windshield, but HUD did not focus. I asked for a warranty replacement with an OEM product, and they told me that they will put a request to use OEM windshield to the insurance company. The process took much longer than I expected, and they told me to "wait" whenever I call them and check the process. I finally contact the insurance company and found that the shop did not even submit a request. With the help of insurance company, they finally scheduled me for the replacement with an OEM windshield. During the scheduling phone call, I checked that they already have the windshield delivered to their shop, twice, and they told me so. When I get there on the scheduled date, they did not have the windshield in their shop; it's never been delivered.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Took two vehicles on separate occasions for windshield replacements. First one was great, second one the sensor on the glass was broken prior to the appointment. Ended up having to reschedule for a different day.Good customer service but did not like that they have one long narrow garage bay. They can fit three vehicles at a time, however when one technician is complete, they back out all vehicles to make room for another. This happed four different times during my 2 hr appt.Service: Auto windshield replacement
