Modern Autoworks was recommended by a friend in the auto repair industry here in Santa Fe. They have built a great reputation over the years. The first time I took my Jeep in and called for an Uber ride to take me back to work, my Uber driver said, "I was just here yesterday picking up my Prius." Since it was my first time there, I asked him if they did a good job. He said they fixed an electrical problem with his Prius that no one else had been able to fix. So I took that as a great sign.Sure enough, they did a great job repairing my Jeep twice now and I trust them with all my repair work. They are very thorough, detail-oriented, and take their responsibility seriously. They are also locally owned and operated. Great job on the Jeep. Thanks!

Brought in my partners truck end of September. Replaced the front brakes and rotors and two months later the rotors were fried and the front brakes glassed. Rear brakes down to 10% because they were compensating so much. Brought it to a reputable national chain and the front calipers had both been sliced. Do not recommend, received dangerous quality work.

Best shop in town! Mark in the office is fantastic and the mechanics and technicians in the shop are absolute pros. I brought in my Jeep as well as my sons Kia Sedona and was impressed by the work that was done. Furthermore, they are extremely trustworthy, not trying to upsell or charge for something that does not need to be fixed. My go to shop in Santa Fe! This place really cares about their customers and are top notch mechanics. They fixed up my vehicle while on a road trip and were fast and professional. If I could give Mark and Fransisco ten stars, I would. I brought my Jeep in a week and a half ago with an issue that was super hard to troubleshoot. I had brought it to another mechanic and they were not able to pinpoint the issue and my car was at a point where it was not safe to drive. It seemed that all hope was lost for my poor vehicle. Mark test drove the car with me in it to understand my concern. Mark was straightforward and assured me that they would do their best to fix the issue even though it seemed like a complicated case. A few days later I got the call that they were going to fix some issues they believed would fix it and if they didn't, they would try again. Yesterday my car was ready. I was nervous that it wouldn't work as I had been told through a previous mechanic that it had been fixed twice before. Fransisco explained to me what he did in great detail and told me all future repairs that should happen to put my car in tip-top shape. Now, my car is running again! These people restored my faith in humanity and were honest and trustworthy. From here on out, I will only be taking my car to them and will recommend their services to anyone who wants mechanics who are dedicated to fixing their car correctly by honest people. I found this repair shop as they were the first result when I searched for a Jeep mechanic on Google. I had a radiator with a drain valve that was damaged and falling out repeatedly, which another shop hadn't noticed. I've been delighted with the service and communication provided by Modern Autoworks. There hasn't been any problem that they didn't know how to fix on both the Jeep Grand Cherokee or the Toyota pickup. I was visiting through Sante Fe and had my car broken in at my hotel parking lot. They had messed up the ignition and power steering and it wouldn t even start. It being a holiday weekend I called over 10 mechanics trying to find an opening. The guys over at Modern Auto Works squeezed me in last minute and did an incredible job. They had a quick turn around, didn t try to upsell me, and explained everything about the repairs they were doing. They even called a few days later to make sure I made the rest of my trip okay. They totally saved my butt and would definitely be my go to mechanic if I lived in Sante Fe!

One weekend mid 2021 I found my 97 Expedition broken down outside of Santa Fe with what my best guess at the time was a dead fuel pump. After calling around, looking up Google reviews and getting some advice from local friends I took it to Modern Autoworks and i'm glad I did. They did an painfully incredible job of getting all of my information and asking me about the SUVs history so they could get a complete view of the job before getting their hands dirty on it. They were able to confirm my fuel pump outage quickly and put other repairs on hold to knock out my repair in a single day as they knew I was from out of town and needed my wheels back. In the end my repair and interactions with the staff/owner were incredibly friendly and went well. The price tag for the work was a bit of a shock, but they do use OEM parts which cost more than the stuff you can pick up at Autozone, Amazon, etc. But its also good to know that the fuel pump should never be an issue again and will last longer than the SUV well compared to cheaper parts which could go out and leave you needed to drop your gas tank once again for a 2nd repair. SO, if your in the area and want to make sure your ride is fixed right the 1st time, I would tell you to swing by here for sure.Service: General repairs & maintenance

As a woman, I was fearful about choosing a place to take my broken car, and luckily I picked Modern Autoworks in Santa Fe. Mark and Don were very pleasant and immediately made me feel at ease. The work I needed was patiently explained and they kept their promise on the price. The mechanic even took care of a few small details for no extra charge. These guys showed that they appreciate my business. I have now found the home for my car, and I am recommending this shop to my friends and family, especially the ladies. You can trust them.

Francisco is a genius! He helped diagnose and fix an obscure issue with my old pickup truck that even the dealership here in town couldn t fix. He has worked extensively on two of my vehicles over the years and done a fantastic job. Modern Autoworks followed up to ensure I was happy with the repairs. Francisco at Modern Autoworks did such a through and detailed job when I brought my Mazda in for an oil change and tune up. It is hard to find a trustworthy & honest mechanic and I just found one with Francisco. My car had electrical issues that caused my alternator to stop charging the battery. They were able to accurately troubleshoot and repair the problem (bad wiring), replace the alternator and get me back on the road in one afternoon on a frozen day in February 2022. Modern Autoworks did an excellent job working on my 1969 Camaro. It runs well and no longer has a leak. It takes some time for them to get the job done, but they do it right. They are now working on a 1968 Barracuda for us and I have every confidence it will be in excellent running order.

Moved from Houston to go to Santa Fe Community College because they had the best Solar Class I could find. After a few months my Toyota 4runner started running bad. They found the problem and got me back on the road in a couple of days. They even loaned me a car while the job was being done. I have nothing to say but good about these guys. Just call and talk to Mark. He's the guy. Appreciate all the hard work and I highly recommend them.

Mark walks up asks how can I help you. Didn't take the man a second to start giving me ideas of what believes is wrong. With my Toyota . leave the car he gives me a ride back home. Calls me in the morning squeezes my Toyota in before a bigger job he's about to start . noon the next day I'm out and about in no time. Great to know shops with great work and customer service go hand and hand . Modern AutoWorks is where I go to stay on the road.

I d you own a Jeep, don t bother with the dealership in Santa Fe, they re horrible.....Use these guys They do solid work & hold their word on guarantees/warranties...I would say it s a fools errand to use another shop for any kind of Jeep work...Thanks guys!Ac

Mark is a wonderfully knowledgeable service manager. Adan is a magician. Serviced my Jeep Rubicon with 190k on the odo. Their diagnostic abilities are superb. Thanks to all at Modern Autoworks.

Mark and the staff are very knowledgeable and fixed the bad fuel injector on my explorer pretty fast. I'd definitely take my car there again.
