Loving care for my vehicle is the best I can say about Dave and Sharon. Honest (a rare quality in an auto repair service), and taking the time, at reasonable fees, to fully analyze my cars symptoms and solving them! Kudos and appreciation for your excellent service and attitude

I had a simple urgent need a large rivet pierced my wife s rear tire. They were busy, but addressed it immediately. Unfortunately the hole was too big to repair, but they mounted the spare tire at no charge. I m impressed with my first brief interaction there.

Best mechanic around. Don't come here bc I want them all to myself. Seriously, Dave, Sharon and the crew are amazing and even been told that by other places.

These guys are great! I purchased a vehicle from a person who used to take her car here. It had some issues after a repair they did when it was in her possession, and had to be fixed again. They would have had no problem checking it out for me again for free. Unfortunately, I was in another state, so they offered to cover half the bill. Awesome! These guys are as responsible and trustworthy as it comes

Hands down the best, most trustworthy and honorable auto repair shop in New Mexico. Good people, reliable work, extremely fair rates. 15+-year client and will not take my vehicle anywhere else.

Dave, Sharon and their Crew are the best in the business. They are always willing to help get your car on the road as quickly as possible. They were super busy but they fit me on so that I could get back to work. I am greatful for their help. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.

I m sad to write this review, but my Eldorado neighbors should be aware of the experience I had here. Dave was quite friendly and seemed easygoing about the rear brake job (BOTH wheels) I d asked him to do, and which he promised to do. I even waited for Dave to come back from his travels to work on my vehicle (22 van).Dave called me to say it s all done & ready to be picked up. On my way inside to pay my bill, by chance, I just happened to peek inside my vehicle to grab something. What I found on the passenger side floor was a set of brand new pads & parts for one wheel, still in the box. Inside the shop, I was casually handed a complete bill for the original TWO-wheel brake job. When I asked about the new pads still in my vehicle, the kind lady at the front desk hadn t a clue about it. So she asked Dave.**And this is where things get inexplicably bizarre: Dave loses his temper, and tells me I don t wanna do the other wheel! I m not doin it! The first one was too hard, it s hot outside, it rained .I m not doin it! I don t wanna see that van here ever again. (As if I d done something wrong?!?)Having discovered his incomplete work, ONLY THEN does Dave instruct his assistant to discount the labor portion of my bill (but not the parts he marked up many times over). I was shocked by the sudden, bizarre change in personality. His assistant apologized to me several times, and also let me know that Dave had errantly cut my brake pad wear sensor. As such, I had a dash warning light on for two weeks before I could purchase and install a new one myself (after watching a YouTube video). What s further alarming is that the lug bolts Dave had replaced were barely more than finger-tightened (despite having previously let him know the correct torque value for my wheels lug bolts).I still need to find someone else to finish the job that Dave flat out refused to finish.I really, REALLY wanted to have a local, trustworthy mechanic here in Eldorado. But my family will most definitely not be returning here with any of our vehicles, for obvious trust and safety reasons. I recommend folks seek another mechanic.

Best garage in Eldorado! Haha. No really, we love this garage. They have been our Primary Car Physician for 20 years. Only mechanic we have every truly trusted. Prices are very reasonable. Only problem is that they are very busy. This review will not help

If you're looking for knowledgeable, reliable, and honest mechanics, look no further. Our car had a pretty serious breakdown, and they handled it like pros from start to finish, and also (BTW) quoted us less than our brand dealer. Car fixed, and delivered back to us on time. Dave and his crew at Eldorado Automative are life savers! They say what they'll do, and then do what they say.

Just moved here and have had issues off and on with mice chewing wires in engine! Dave has been so kind as to offer advice as to how to manage and to repair damage to car. Very reasonable prices and personable service.

I have taken my car here on 3 different occasions, I have never been un-happy with their work. Honest, reliable, very helpful and they get the job done in a very timely fashion. I will never go to anyone else for my mechanical needs. Thank you El Dorado Automotive. Sincerely, a customer for life.

Dave and his staff have been my family's mechanics for niegh on 18 years this year. Always honest never any problems for the most part and when there are issues they don't hesitate to resolve the problem on thier time and dime. Will always keep them as my automotive repair as long as live in New Mexico.

I have used over the years and other automotive repair shops. My use of Eldorado Automotive was great. I felt comfortable with the knowledge and price was even less expensive than originally quoted which speaks to integrity of shop.

These folks repaired my engine after it blew up in the desert near Tucumcari. I am forever grateful for the honest, prompt service that they provided. A good family operation. I wish them good will for years to come!

This is the best place I have ever had my car serviced! Dave is so kind efficient and great at what he does. Even if I ever moved out of Eldorado I wud always come here for my car and he even fills my bike tires!!!!

Driving home from vacation and started to have engine problems. They squeezed us in even though they were booked out for a week and a half. They were able to tell us what was wrong and lead us to a dealership that was able to help us. I would highly recommend this shop!

Locally owned, fairly pricy but that's mechanics for you... my friend broke down near by and they came and replaced the serpintine belt while the goats waited in the trailer which got her back on the road but later that day the new got shredded, I guess the power steering pump was out of alignment.

Stopped by here on the fly with our AC on the fritz during a cross country move. Didn't get the gentleman's name who helped us, but even though they were swamped, he listened to my issue, determined it'd be a quick fix, and got us back on the road in about 20 minutes!

A great place to take your car or truck. Very trustworthy. I do a lot of my own work but when I either can't or don't want to do something I always trust these folks to do it right the first time.
