I took my car to Dave after my catalytic converter was stolen, and I'm glad I did. The price was very reasonable, the work was outstanding, and Dave, like many people in this city, has a great personality. When people call a repair shop, they're generally pretty stressed. Dave had me feeling better about my situation even before I showed up. Between the treatment and the service, I feel I got more than I paid for here, and I can't give it a higher compliment than that. Highly recommended.

Dave has offered reliable and reputable service to my and my business. He is my go-to when I need some exhaust work handled for a customer of mine.Always willing to take a minute extra to discuss the specific needs of the job means I don t see the repair back again later with a disappointed customer.That s what makes my customers trust my work, and me trust Dave s Muffler Shop.Reasonable pricing and decent turnaround round out the great service.

Incredibly fast turn around time and great pricing. Dave did an amazing job repairing my exhaust after another shop had butchered it. He kept me updated throughout the repair and my car was ready to go that afternoon!

Dave s muffler shop did a wonderful job and replacement of my exhaust systems on my two vehicles! Very professional service and very friendly and helpful. Got my 4Runner fixed and diagnosed another problem and fixed it at no extra cost. Very fair prices and quick service. Thanks Dave!

Wouldn t recommend this shop called to ask some questions to get my vehicle for a simple muffler install the man that answered would not even let me finish explaining what I needed was completely rude, hostile, and condescending I ended up stating I d take my business elsewhere. he may do good work but I refuse to be belittled for using the incorrect terminology ps abet and Zia fab are way better shops

I took my 1992 car in for an exhaust system problem that really needed work. Dave and his son diagnosed the problem, in my case problems, and offered several alternatives that could fix the problems. There was no hard sell; just good honest advice.They fixed the problems within a very short time and within the up-front quote. No hidden surprises. The shop is clean, Dave and his son are true professionals, and they are polite and friendly. No down-talking. Their prices are very competitive and in most cases, less expensive than the national chains. I shopped around and was very happy with the price, the finished product, and the friendly service. You can't go wrong with these two guys. Local, well established, polite and friendly. I will do business again with them.

Dave has done exhaust work for seven different vehicles I have owned over the course of fourteen years. He is a subject matter expert regarding exhaust and auto performance. His work is so clean that I have always been hard pressed to purchase aftermarket exhaust systems or parts simply because his work is of better quality. There is a reason I have trusted him with every one of my many exhaust needs whether it be a repair or performance upgrade, Dave is the best in the business.

Had some exhaust work on my 1997 F250.. Dave and His son did an excellent job. Great customer service before during and after the job.. Fair price. Honest work. Great guys will use again. A+++

I had work done and Dave told me if there is anything wrong just bring it back . I called to tell him and told him my cab was smelling like exhaust. He said bring it buy and when I can get to I ll do it . I told I am ill and can t do that so I made a appointment at 9:30 . I was sick all night so I didn t wake up in time . I went to his shop when I got up . He told me I don t know who told I I guarantee my work for life . Only the muffler was guaranteed for life . I told him I was ill very ill , he respond was you have a phone right . He is very unprofessional. He was my best friend when I paid the hundreds for the work I had done . Do not go there for anything. He says he is a performance shop . If his welds couldn t hold up to my daily drive I hate to see what s happened to the turbo exhaust he does . I think I paid 700 for all the work he did . So to save yourself from the headache and to be treated like trash don t go there .

Dave was awesome looked at my truck qoutes me a low price and had it done in like 2 hrs. He is a muffler genius and undercut any qoutes I had by almost half. Thanks Dave will be back for all of my exhaust related needs.

Dave has been working on my auto exhausts since 1997 and still now in 2017 does outstanding and incredible work. 20 years later and there is still an honest person in Santa Fe and who stands up for his work. And don t forget affordable prices.

Called and he helped me immediately giving me prices and offering deals! Yes I would say it could be expensive depending on you but you get what you pay for! Dave man did everything I needed and made sure I approved of any other purchases to make sure there was no surprises! He kept in touch and even gave me his own opinion with putting no preasure on me! Very friendly and professional service! Did everything he could to help me with my price knowing I was paying a pretty penny! Great work and good shop!

So grateful for the coworker who sent me here! One of my muffler brackets had broken. Less honest men could easily have seen a cash cow, and said my older car needed more extensive work, but hewelded a new bracket on for $60. The repair was completed exactly when promised also. I hope my next (likely unavoidable, yay snow and salt) exhaust system issue happens when I'm here in Santa Fe. Dave's Muffler Shop treated me right

I needed to find a shop to install my catback exhaust. My friend recommnended Dave's shop. So I give them a call and ask what they charge to install. He gives me a rough estimate and then asks, "what kind of exhaust system is it?", I tell him it's MBRP. He brags, "I sell MBRP products". So I'm thinking, "nice, this guy knows what he's doing". I schedule an appointment for the following morning. I then had to cancel my appointment because some of us have to work and find it hard to take time off with a tight schedule. So finally the next day I call Dave and ask if I could possibly bring my car in at 3:45pm (he closes at 5:30). He says "that will work". So I ask my boss if I could leave early to take my car in. She's is ok with that. So I leave work early (using my own time, essentially losing out on the missed hours = losing money). I arrive at Dave's shop at 3:45pm (he closes at 5:30pm). He pulls my car in, opens the box that the exhaust came in, comes back to me in his waiting area and says "so I'm not gonna be able to do this today. The exhaust came with more pieces than I thought. They never come with this many pieces". He asks me to come in first thing next morning. I say ok and leave. I immediately go home and contact other shops in town. I get a hold of a shop and tell them of my experience with Dave. They say, "oh yeah we know THAT GUY...". They even laughed about his whole "so many pieces" deal and say "everything is bolt on, it's not rocket science". So now I'm dealing with a new and more considerate shop. Dave knew I was losing hours at work to take my car to his shop. He's very inconsiderate. I got there at 3:45pm and he closed at 5:30pm. I was going to pay this guy to do his job and he flat out turned me down because the exhaust came with "a lot of pieces" and he "closed at 5:30pm". Since when was I being an inconvenience by paying this guy to do his job? And he's a business owner???? Oh, and he didn't even put all the pieces back in the box. He was lazy enough to just throw pipes in my back seat without putting them back in the box. Needless to say, I won't ever be taking my cars to Dave's muffler shop. Maybe Dave should be a little more educated with products that he apparently sells.

The Original Intermediate Pipe on my '95 Chevy PU was beginning to Rust through near the Muffler .Knowing that a Proper Repair would Require Welding , I "patched it" with a soup can and bailing wireI didn't want to use the parts house replacement pieces (2 sections) in front of my newer Flo-Masteras they had Crimp Style Bends that Restrict Flow , Rob Power and Reduce Mileage !I started looking for the Right Shop for My Requirements .Dave knew exactly where I was coming from . He Expertly Fabbed up a Smooth Straight Pipe with the Factory Flange to the CAT and even sprayed the welds with Hi-Heat paint !Clean , Well Supplied Shop , No Corner Cutting and More Importantly Reasonable Competitive RatesOld School Race Car Knowledge that's getting awfully Hard to Find these days .Who's gonna Bend my next set of Twice Pipes ? ..... Stand Back and Let the Sparks Fly !I'm a Picky Old Fart and Rarely let any one touch my rides , But I was Extremely Pleased at the Quality of Dave and his Protege Son's Craftsmanship ,

Dave replaced my catalytic converter. He did it quickly, and saved me money. He also put a cage on it to help detour future theives. I highly recommend him.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

This guy was super rude. Arguing with me about the exhaust I needed installed. Unprofessional to say the least. He may do good work, but with that kind of attitude, I recommend going someplace else like I did.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Dropped off my truck with him and he said it would take an hour and sure enough he was right time. That's almost unheard of anymore. Also pointed out some problems with truck he noticed while he had the on the rack . Hands down the best muffler shop in Santa fe

We had exhaust issues after traveling from San Antonio and Dave said it would be ready in 30 minutes and it was ready in 30 minutes if not less. Charged a reasonable price. Seems like a good place to go.

Pulled up didn't acknowledge me what so ever as I walked into his shop door while he looked at pictures on someone's phone .. I walked back outside because nobody was at the front counter as I pass a sign stag "Don't be that Guy! If you don't like the service go somewhere else!" WOW REALLY! I walk outside he asks me can I help you.. Yes sir I have a broken hangar on my exhaust .. I can't help you today brother! I ask why.. He states, because I'm busy as he rolls his eyes! There was not one vehicle in his shop or parking lot! Take your exhaust problems to ABET Automotive,I've done a lot of business with them in the past and really have good customer service skills! The only reason I went to this f'n loser because ABET was closed for lunch.. So Meineke fixed it for me and done an IMMACULATE and welcomed me as I walked in the door..

I took in my mazda 6 to get it done and couldn't be more happy with how it came out, and if I ever need something fixed Dave is there.
