Enroute from Maine to Phoenix. Injection pump failed in Santa Fe NM. Monday before Thanksgiving. Ernie said you get it in, we ll get you out. He and his guys did exactly what they said in record time over a holiday.They are the best.

Window on the driver s side door of our RV fell into the door. We called and got an appointment through Ernie the next day.Eric took off the door panel and found a broken piece of plastic inside the door that caused the problem, ordered a replacement and had it in hand two days later. Like some other reviewers have said Clark & Sons Truck helped us get on our way while traveling with our 5th wheel. Clark is crazy busy with tons of local business but understands how problems on the road can be difficult to resolve. 3 generations have built this business and that is hard to find these days. This business can be trusted with any repairs of any size truck on the road from Semi s and busses to my Ram dually and down to the still functioning 3 generation old coke machine in the waiting area. Next time through this amazing town I will drop off some treats.

Ernie and crew are amazing! If i could do more stars then i would because you seriously can t find more reliable, trustworthy Deisel mechanics than this team. We had our oil pan cap scrape the road and pop off and spilled oil everywhere. Once we got to Clark & Sons they diagnosed everything and told us upfront their plan and estimate and got to work. They ended up welding our oil pan back in perfect condition and even put the cap on the side instead of the bottom to prevent it from happening again. Along the repair they found some really loose stripped bolts that they showed us at the engine and threaded new ones to fit and tighten in place. We had a bent step up into our RV/Bus that they straighten out using their car to pull it out lol. These guys have some serious skills! I call them when i have any concerns about codes or repairs from other shops while out on the road. They are my go to shop and i look forward to getting back for yearly tuneups/services because i know I m in good hands which is hard to find.

This business helped me out of a jam and I am so grateful. While traveling cross country pulling a camper the fuel pump went bad on me almost stranding me in Santa Fe. I called and called and everyone was so backed up they couldn t help me for a week. I called Clark and Sons and after some pleading they said bring it by and we will take a look. Their yard was full of trucks, buses and RVs!They were so kind and they quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and made the repairs the next day. Turned out the entire fuel pump assembly had to be replaced on my Ram 1500 4x4. I am good to go!Everyone one there was friendly and helpful.Thank you Clark & Sons!!!

I had the most phenomenal experience here at Clark and sons with Ernest and his staff! They did an incredible job repairing my truck and it s electrical issues which would leave me stranded from time to time. Ernie is very professional, patient, kind and sets the right expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely be going back for any of my truck needs!

The owner Ernie was as good of a person that you could find and even as a great mechanic. He let us stay with the RV if we needed to and he prioritized us to get on the road in 2 days even though Parts was hard to find. We can't say enough about him

Clark and Sons were wonderful to us when we had brake trouble on our 1997 Travel Van. They fit us in their schedule and did a great job at a fair price. This meant a lot since we were living in the van with our dog during our travels. I can not speak highly enough of their work and their knowledge staff.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I had a small leak in my auxiliary fuel tank line and needed some minor work (about an hour labor) done. Called 6-7 truck repair shops and dealers in Santa Fe. None would see me in less than 1- 1 1/2 months! We are only in the area for a week. Mr. Clark put me on his schedule in 2 days even though he had a lot of other jobs. Left the vehicle all day and it was ready when promised. They upgraded the fuel line components and did a professional, clean installation. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend Clark and Sons.

I would give them more stars if i could great service. Only down side long wight to get in. I was in my rv so i could wight. They gave a nice level spot to park.

Ernie is just s good person. Amazing service. They replaced my head gasket and installed a new steering box in my Ram. Prices are more than competitive considering the service. Visited several places in albuq and santa fe before and always got the run around.

We were traveling with our cass A when we had engine trouble pulled up internet found they listed truck and large rv repair. We have found that alot of truck places don't want to work on rvs. Called ernest told him what was.going on he gave me directions drove over there about 4:30 he looked at it trouble shot it and said he would squeeze it in the morning to start working on it. Was major engine failure got at it had hard time to find parts but stuck at it very professional great customer service had a ton of work already but got us in and kept at it until they got us back on the road. Thanks alot to him and his crew very nice down to earth people with great work ethic and good follow through.

This place is amazing the mechanic is hands down a hard worker and he get the job done under short notice we realy appreciate his ability to get our truck in and out I highly recommend Clark and sons theses guys don't mess around and they no there stuff

Ernie, the owner was very, very helpful. We broke down on our trip out West. He let us stay in his lot, plugged us in to electric.He gave us a key, so we could come, and go, after hours. He and his crew are very knowledgeable. They do quality work, and work efficiently. He has tremendous experience with diesels. He will treat you right!

Called over Clark and Sons about a class A overheating. We are fulltime nomads in 36' Front End Diesel that kept overheating on hills - the coolant fan never seemed to engage. Called Ernest and he said they'd at least do a quick look to see if they could diagnose the problem. Arrived and not 5 mins later, Ernest was under the dog house. Turns out a ground wire hadn't been reconnected after a fuel pump replacement a few weeks prior. 30 mins later we had a reconnected ground wire, confirmed working fan clutch, and back in business nomading..... Thanks Called Ernest and Clark and Sons for getting us back on the road.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

The local experts in anything big and diesel. This shop is staffed with hard working, honest and knowledgeable staff. My trailer broke down in the area and these guys worked hard to get me home. I owe them big time. they were very busy with local business but made time for me, helped find rare parts, even stayed late for me on a Friday. It makes me feel really hopeful about the world when a business still cares like that. Specializes in heavy machinery, large diesel trucks, large RVs. Note: Not much signage on the road and the shop is significantly set back from the road. Easiest to approach from the west because of median.

These guys are awesome. We had a tire failure on our trip that caused the hydraulic lines on our fifth wheel to be cut and damaged a leveling jack. we pulled into the shop on Monday morning with no appointment and Ernst had his crew working on our rig within the hour, ready to pull out by the end of the day. super nice guy

Honest highly recommend. Traveling with our RV had squeaky brakes stopped in to have them looked at before we heading down the road into the mountains, they explained why they were squeaking but we did not need new brakes. we are small business owners ourselves and run our business the same way with honesty and appreciate when we run across another honest business. Thanks guys

Ernie and his team are top of the mark. They got me back on the road in a couple of hours. I'm so grateful for their work. They fixed a brake issue I had with my 78 gmc motorhome and I made it home safe to my wife and children. Thank you so much!

This is a business with service you would expect to find in a small town where everyone knows everyone. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I called in the morning after finding my trailer lights were not working and I was supposed to leave for an out of town show. The owner said come by and he stopped whatever he was working on to get me on the road ASAP! Wow, wow and more wow!Service: Electrical

This place is wonderful. I had a diesal issue and the owner came right out to see if he could diagnose the problem. After about an our and a conciliation with another associate we discovered that the problem was my programmer. I uninstalled it and my truck ran fine. I asked how much I owed him and he said nothing and wouldn't take any money. If your in Sante Fe, Nm. And help there the ones to call.

Ernie, the "son", is the best. Can't say enough good things about this garage. If you have a commercial truck or RV, this is the place to go. Not a local secret, they're very busy. Check out the giant piston from the old Pecos generator in the waiting area.
