I had work done to my s550 (air strut compressor) at the old Los Alamos location in 2019 & I m moving back to the area looking forward to doing more business with these gentlemen again. It s hard to find a good auto shop & even harder to find a fair & honest one! Glad someone made me aware of the updated location!

Have dealt with mechanics around the world, these guys are the best shop I ve ever been to. Lovely people, honest guys, reflected in their quoting and a pleasure to deal with. Even sorted me out with a car to borrow while mine was being worked on and were completely transparent through the process. Phenomenal service.

My battery was draining everyday overnight, it was a big hassle. I called Automotive Professionals as they were about to close at 5:30pm on a Friday, after I just picked up my car from the previous mechanic, who had the car all day on a scheduled appt, but who had not been able to help me. I probably sounded exasperated, so they were nice enough to let me stop by right away. They found the issue within minutes (air conditioner). They provided a good workaround for me until the air conditioner issue could be fixed at a later date, so that the battery would no longer drain.They are the best mechanics with very reasonable prices...highly recommend.

These guys take care of business. They stand behind the work performed. I would recommend this shop to anyone and not regret it. Good job guys. Nice to see that there's integrity on a very difficult profession. Trouble shooting at its finest!!!

Honest and trustworthy!!!! This is by far the best place I have gone to to get my vehicle s maintenance done! The gentleman at the front who answers the phone and schedules is super friendly and I have never experienced such friendliness and great customer service in this type of business! He explained what was done and made recommendations for next time. I highly recommend them and will continue to go there for my auto maintenance. I had a terrific experience working with Jordan and the folks at Automotive Professionals. The check engine light in my truck came on and I was expecting it to be some random, unimportant warning. 30 minutes before closing, Jordan hooked my truck up to the computer and the codes indicated a problem with the spark plugs - Jordan pulled one, explained (in DETAIL) how they wear out and showed me the specific wear area. He scheduled me a couple days out, and had the truck ready on time.Folks - this place is really special. Jordan is absolutely the most knowledgeable auto mechanic I have every encountered. I've had a problem with my horn failing for the past couple of years, I've taken it to 2 different shops and they were never able to diagnose the problem, so I've forgotten about it. Jordan's all encompassing expertise reminded me of this lingering problem, so I explained the problem not expecting him to solve it. In less than 30 minutes he was able to isolate the problem and provide a price for the replacement part.Call me IMPRESSED - this is a quality businessService: Engine repair

Can't say enough good things about Automotive Professionals. I had an issue with my brakes and had gotten 2 different estimates that included 2 different fixes. I got super lucky and called Jordan. Not only did he take the time to listen but also spoke to me in such a logical manner about my issue. I knew instantly that I had found my Mechanic. My car was fixed for much less than I had been quoted previously. He also did the repair the same day and lent me a vehicle for the day as well. God bless you Jordan and than you so much.

Their motto is "we fix car" and they sure do. They fix cars, trucks, SUVs that dealership shops will no longer even touch due to their age. They're community minded, reasonably priced, hard working and smart. They help keep my fleet of vehicles running for our household. They just fixed a problem my 34 year old truck's longstanding starting problem. Jordan is a genuine good guy, very professional and intelligent. My car battery had died on me repeatedly and after changing it at Autozone they tested my alternator and told me it needed replacing. I called Automotive professionals and Jordan quickly noted that this is unlikely without a battery light and scheduled me for an appointment. Sure enough, the alternator passed the tests and Jordan took the time to explain to me the test results in an easily understandable way. He saved me $600 and refused to take my money! Will definitely come back with all my auto needs in the future.

If I could give 10 Stars, I would. Above and beyond professionalism and service. Incredible depth of knowledge. I drive from out of town to have my vehicles serviced by automotive professionals. Jordan makes every experience a joy, and I know that my vehicle and the safety of my family on the road couldn t be in better hands.

I don't know auto lingo but basically, my daughter's car was running slow. Big O said it was going to be a $1500 job. But we wanted a second opinion and Jordan said it was a completely different problem. Also., her driver's side mirror was missing. Only the mirror. Big O said the whole thing needed to be replaced. But Jordan was able to simply get a replacement mirror and install it! My daughter ended up paying less than $300 for all of this to be done! If you want honesty, kindness, and fair prices, this is the place to go!Services: Engine repair, Side view mirror repair

Jordan is busy, busy, busy! It's because he has the best auto repair shop in town. I have had several occasions to take vehicles there. The workmanship is good and he is honest at a level seldom seen in auto repair shops. His prices are fair. This is my goto place for maintaining my 19 year old Lincoln Town car and my 1997 Land Rover Defender 90.

They are honest, timely, personable, efficient, helpful, and reliable. The most professional and pleasant automotive place I've ever dealt with. Jordan was amazing to work with and my dented fender and headlight were fixed promptly and the prices were extremely fair. They changed my oil and let me know about some issues with my sway bar that I was unaware of. Excellent service and a wonderful crew!

Was looking for a new (to me) shop to mount and balance some tires. I've dealt with 2 other mechanics in town and did not want to go back to them after some not so great experiences. Googled, saw the reviews and called them up. Jordan was professional, friendly, and pleasure to work with and had them done that day even though they're slammed. I found out they're moving to Santa Fe which stinks but they will be by go to shop for all my vehicles regardless from now on. Thanks!

Took my jeep here and the owner was super friendly and helpful. Fair prices, and they explain everything done and needing to get done to your vehicle. Very informative. One of the best places to get service done hands down.

Your GO-TO mechanic in Northern New Mexico! I cannot rave enough about this place and Jordan (the owner). He s a brilliant mechanic (and former engineer) and he just so nice to boot! Had a major problem driving back from Colorado yesterday. He helped me troubleshoot enough on the phone to be able to slowly drive back to New Mexico and spent 3 hours with me this morning and got it taken care of right away. This is THE mechanic you need in New Mexico!

After being punked for a fraudulent repair by the big name auto repair shop in town I found Jordan at Automotive Professionals. These guys are great! Never did I get the feeling they were trying to scam me. My interaction with them was honest, professional and they gave me the impression they really cared. I have since taken all of my vehicles here for tires and other repairs and I will continue to do so. They have delivered in finding the best cost effective options for all of the repairs and I never felt like they were trying to sell me anything extra or unnecessary. The repair costs have been very reasonable and completed in a timely manner. If you are looking for an knowledgeable, honest, repair garage, this is it!

I am visiting Low Alamos area from South Dakota to help a friend recovering from surgery, and found a crack in one of my front tires. After seeing the great reviews, I drove in, and Jordan was looking at my tire within just a few minutes. He made the sensible suggestion that to be safe, the better tires should be rotated to the front until I can get two new tires. He said they could do the rotation within twenty minutes, which they did, and the price was very fair. The prompt service was not due to lack of business, as three other customers came in while I was there. Prompt, competent, professional, friendly, courteous, what more can I say - I gave his card to my friend.

I CANNOT say enough about how great Professional Automotive is!! They bent over BACKWARDS to make sure we got the best service and the best price. Our car was misdiagnosed by another repair shop and Jordan and his guys found and fixed the two (real) problems with our vehicle, even giving us a discount for the confusion!!! Jordan even offered to let us use his personal car until they could get to our vehicle, and then did everything they could to get our car fixed in just one day! These guys are BEYOND incredible and we would use them for life!! If you re looking for the best service out there, these guys are it!! Super friendly, professional, honest, fast, and truly committed to their customers!

I had wonderful experience with Automotive Professionals. They solved long-lasting problems with my clutch and cruise control in a timely manner and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!Update: 6 months later, still use their service all the time to change oil and make repairs if needed, never was disappointed!

This is hands down the best shop I have ever taken a vehicle to. Jordan and his crew work fast and are honest. They've never tried to upsell me on something I don't need. They also provide legitimately friendly customer service. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Quick, friendly, honest and reliable service. I recently took my vehicle there when my air conditioner gave out. Even though they were extremely busy, they had my ac running again by the next morning. I had been here years ago and was also happy then. I was very impressed with their friendliness and their capability to get the job done quickly and accurately. They also gave me a very accurate estimate for work and made me feel comfortable. I have had bad experiences with other places in Los Alamos, and am glad that I found a place I can trust.
