What started as a documented overcharge ended with what could be considered a threat by the owner. Saturday Aug. 27 brought my 2016 Ford Expedition 4x4 with 90,787 miles into service @ 8:00a for brake squeal. At 9:06a got a call from the service writer needed brake work. I verbally authorized resurface rotors and install brake pads with one caveat: OEM parts only. The service writer said they only use genuine Ford parts. At 10:21a I got a call the truck was ready to pick up. I got there at 11:45 - service closed at noon. I was presented with a bill for $339. I asked if they used Ford parts and the service writer said there were no parts. I protested that resurfacing/sanding rotors doesn't take 3 hours labor and it was either pay the bill or walk home. Monday 8/29 called the service manager and left a message - no response. I drove over that afternoon and waited for Ron the service manager. I brought along quotes from 2 Ford dealers to resurface brakes: $125 and $150 with dealer names and contacts. One dealer said why on earth would anyone resurface rotors on a truck with 90,000 miles and not replace pads? Ruidos Ford never measured the pads. Ron was noncommittal and said he would look into it. Left another call for Ron - no response for a request for a return phone call. On September 6 wrote a 2 page letter to Chase protesting the credit card charge and the New Mexico Attorney General. I hand carried a copy of the letter to the dealership.First response was a voicemail @ 6:40p Sept. 7 = 11 DAYS. Spoke the next day with a man who identified himself as the owner. He made some illogical statements (Google "chamfured"), wouldn't stop interrupting me and had very limited mechanical knowledge. I have run a diesel service shop and owned a used HD truck and construction trailer dealership. The question I tried to ask was why the service manager was never allowed to address my overcharge complaint. Call ended when this owner guy said in a malicious tone, "I've lived in this town a long time and you haven't and I know a lot of people". Was this a threat? The $189.23 overcharge is in the hands of Chase and the NM Attorney General.

The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable & most importantly, honest! The hr drive from Alamogordo is totally worth dealing with honesty!Matthew was friendly & continued to communicate with me while waiting on my vehicle to be completed!They have gained a new customer all the way!

I had an amazing experience at Ruidoso Ford. The customer service was outstanding, and the product was exactly what I was looking for. I was so pleased with the service I received from this business. They went above and beyond to help me with my new Ford Ranger!!! I highly recommend the Ruidoso Ford Team!!!

We were broken down on a road trip (so from out of town) and really needed the work on our truck done urgently. I had it towed to the shop first thing on a Monday morning and the team here immediately diagnosed the issue, ordered required parts, and kept me apprised of any and all updates. The only thing out of their control was how long the parts were going to take, but once they arrived they immediately fixed the issue and got us back on the road. They were awesome!

I have bought several vehicles at Ruidoso Ford, and I can honestly say is the best dealership I've ever done business with, staff is super friendly and professional, and will go out of their way to get you the best deal, will definitely continue to be a customer.

The service helper was very nice. The cashier was nice, but why was I charged 3 1/2 percent when I was using a debit card. Seriously!

I purchased a 2020 Ford Escape Titanium from Ruidoso Ford. Recently, out of nowhere, it started giving an Error "Front Camera Fault Service Required" which led to another error Pre-Collision Assist Not Available. We took the vehicle to the service department at Ruidoso Ford and were assured that a $300+ software update was going to fix the issue. I reluctantly agreed knowing that software usually only fails when the hardware it is attached to fails. Later that day, I received a phone call informing me that the front camera had gone bad from an electrical surge. No explanation what caused it, but Ruidoso Ford was more than willing to take another $400+ to fix the issue. I also mentioned that since the last service there was a lot of road noise. I was told there was a bad shock that had done damage to the tires and that they could fix it for another $300+. Funny how none of their "SERVICE AFTER THE SALE" inspections ever caught this during the warranty period. If they were that damaged, it must have been apparent during one of the pervious service appointments. I will let some other local vendor fix the shock issue and I bet save some money. Let's not forget the exploding panoramic roof, but that's another story. I asked if they wanted to buy it back, since they have a big sign about purchasing vehicles, it appear they don't even want it as I never received a call with an offer. So much for standing by your own product!

Ruidoso Ford went above and beyond to help me get my 2016 Ford F150... I had tried to get another truck from the other Big Dealership in Ruidoso (SBM) but even being a returning customer they would not budge on there sticker price even with a large down payment. So i went down the road to Ruidoso Ford and they were more than happy to work with me to get the payment i wanted and more important the truck i wanted...

If you need a Ford serviced in New Mexico, this is the place. They luckily had the part I needed for a relatively minor extended warranty repair, and completed the work the same day. Super nice folks. I definitely recommend this dealership for service. (Didn't buy my truck here.)

Long story. Neighbor went with appointment. Paid for needed parts. Told 2 days, 3 days later, told UPS lost order. 3 days later, no parts. Neighbor said, OK give you another week. Got parts, told 3 hours for repair at 8am. At 2 pm. He started calling to get update. Busy signal from 2pm to 6pm. They calling him at 8am the next day. They charge $100 for oil charge on Ford Focus, Walmart, $30. Diagnostic was $145. Free at O'Reilly.

Took vehicle to get serviced. They ordered the wrong part. Took vehicle after paying a hefty amount to find the same issue. They found another problem and attempted to fix it. Again wrong part ordered. They have had the vehicle for over a week. Part has not arrived. Was told it would be in on a Thursday. Called Friday and said hopefully on Monday . One issue after another I do trust this company so I m hoping for the best.

I know there are other dealerships in nearby towns that probably have more inventory, but I can t imagine they could beat the customer service (in all departments) than what I experienced in Ruidoso. I did have more than one option of what I was looking for, though. I am enjoying my new Lincoln Aviator even more than I imagined I would! Just ask for Jason - you even get his cell number so you can text or call any time you need to. He has also been great with after the sale service. I highly recommend shopping here for a vehicle - new or used.

Customer service at Ford was really wonderful. They really pay attention and ask detail questions of what your looking for in a vehicle my experience with them was great and I'm enjoying my new Chevy eqiniox it has so much features that I didn't ask for but are a previlieg to have.The warranty is great to. Free services of oil changes and tire repairs really help on savings for me. Thank you Ford. May you be blessed significantly.

Good people!! I stopped by to get an appointment to get an oil change, some warranty work and order some new tires. I haven't had the service yet, but they were very happy to help me with choosing new tires. Will let you know about the service soon.

Its been almost 2 weeks since I bought my truck. The experience was substantially less painful than i thought it would be, and the service has been excellent, right down to the delivery at work place.

I am very thanks for Ruidoso Ford's service team, specifically Matthew. We are caught in a tough spot with our a/c stopped working in 100 temperatures on a Friday. They were able to squeeze us in at the end of the day, confirm the problem, and get us back on the road. While they unfortunately did not have the part to repair it, they were still able to confirm the issue and get us in that day. They went above and beyond for something in a tough spot and I am very thankful for what they did. I would trust them with our car again!

The customer service of the service center is way below average standards I would expect from a dealership. My sister came into Ruidoso from OK to help me move after I purchased a house. It was wonderful to have her help since my husband is deployed. She started having engine issues with her Ford Edge. We called to get an appointment since she was stranded here now. They were very rude and suggested we go to another dealership in Alamogordo. Not wanting to risk towing the car all the way there we waited a week for an appointment here. Her insurance was going to pay for the repairs and the dealership was told multiple times to email the invoice for it to be paid the day we dropped it off. They even had the final bill total ready the day before we arrived to pick it up. We arrive to pick it up the next day and they still have not sent the invoice and now we have been waiting an hour plus waiting for the dealership to email it. We had to end up taking a picture of it and sending it ourselves to the insurance. I will never buy a vehicle from here or use the service center in the future.

Everyone at the dealership was ready and willing to work with us on buying a new car. They made the experience easy and we were pleased with the Lifetime Service plan that Ford offers. We recommend working with Ruidoso Ford Lincoln when you're ready to buy or sell!!

The lady and gentleman at the front desk either have an issue with me for God knows why, or they treat many people poorly.I can understand stress, but this is an ongoing issue that I've not been able to solve through continually being as nice as possible.I have spent thousands of dollars to service my vehicle and have no complaints for the mechanics because they always do a wonderful job; their service actually almost made me make this a 2 star review.Yet I just couldn't do it and have to give this Ford dealership a 1 star review. I will happily spend my money at another dealership from now on.Hopefully this can be addressed in order for the lady and gentleman to learn how to be more professional in the future.

Always great experience for me the staff is very attentive to my needs on the vehicle making sure what is needed and what parts are showing wear, like tires, brakes even belts and or hoses, but that day was an oil change and air filter, plus my electric steering may have to be changed out and tires in the near future. Over all the service was wonderful the staff was great and professional at their job as well as the mechanics, definitely two thumbs up. I will be back to get the rest done, thank you all, for your kindness and sincerity.

Super easy and low-pressure -- gave me the facts I needed to know, fleshed it out with details I hadn't even thought to ask about, compared vehicles for me realistically and thoroughly, and let me take all those notes home with me to weigh on my own time. No pressure to return and make a decision, but they were ready for me when I returned and made the whole purchase seem easy (despite requiring my signature about 100 times). Friendly, professional, fair, trustworthy -- great follow-up after I drove away in my new vehicle, too!

Our salesperson, Jason, worked with us to get a great deal. We couldn't afford a brand new model but he and Chris worked to get us a year old model with only 18,000 miles on it plus the 7-year maintenance warranty and the tire warranty. I just love my new Ford Escape. It's beautiful AND smart!

I came in to the dealership for an appointment to do something with the air dampener hanging inches from the ground after tearing it loose on a protruding rock. The courtesy driver AD who took us back to our timeshare was very nice. Matt the service agent was good to deal with. The garage was able to bolt the dampened back in place and the price was reasonable. If I lived in Ruidoso I would patronize this dealership.

If anyone is looking for a vehicle Ford is the place to go and talk to all the wonderful women and men there,they will always help guide you through everything you need to know,they are not sales men or women they are a Ford family that is there for you. Schedule you a appointment with service department who will work with you to make sure it fits your schedule. So the men in the shop can take care of your vehicle and make sure it stays on the road whether it's a Ford,Chevy,Dodge ect. Take it to them and let them put their experience to work for you. I have taken my vehicles to Ford for many years for many different reasons that I wasn't able to do myself or just a oil change and got the best service. I didn't forget about the men in the parts department they have a lot of knowledge,will help you find what you need and if they don't carry it they will try to help anyway they can. When you get ready to pay for whatever you had done to your vehicle or bought the two employees that take your payment are very helpful and kind. Last but not least none of this would be possible without Chris who has inspired all his staff to be a family not workers. Go check out Ruidoso Ford

It was a joy to buy our new Expedition EL at Ford Ruidoso and we highly recommend Janessa...superb!Update: A few years ago, we purchased an Expedition EL from Ruidoso Ford Lincoln and had a great experience. From the beginning of the process to the end, it seemed as if we were priority number one for the entire staff. So, when it was time for a newer vehicle, we knew just what to do. We called up Ruidoso Ford Lincoln and a few hours later, we drove off in a new Expedition Max...and the exact same sentiment: satisfied.

A little disappointed with the service. We called down to let them know that we had received a recall on our vehicle and asked for an appointment to have it completed. They gave us a date and time to which we complied. We left the vehicle and were called in an hour and told they had not ordered the parts. After going back to the dealership to pick up our vehicle, we set up another appointment. Once again, we complied. We were informed that it would take 2 to 2 1/2 hours to complete. It was 1:00 PM. They proceeded to keep the vehicle overnight and bring it back to us at 10:00 am the next day. Not happy with the whole experience.

Great service department! We had an issue with our car while on a day trip from El Paso up to Ruidoso. The manager checked our car out in a timely manner. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Even with the 4th of July holiday in the middle of the week they still were able to work our car in and get it fixed in a week. We wish we lived closer to use them for general service.
