My car needed some big repairs. Innovative Auto was recommended to me by a friend. I'm so glad I took my car to them. I was kept informed of parts order and time frame for repairs. Staff was very friendly and professional. Most importantly they do quality work. I will definitely be bringing any future maintenance and repairs to them. I highly recommend this business for your auto repairs.

Made the appointment to have the transmission serviced in my 2019 Ford Ranger. Was told that it would be a 1.5 hour job so I decided that I would wait. I should have left after the mechanic came in and told me that it would be three hours because the vehicle needed to cool down. He was very rude about it. Then it was discovered that they did not have the correct transmission fluid and it would be another wait for that to come. 5 hours later and my truck is still up in the air. The mechanic was once again rude about the circumstances that the truck had to come up to operating temp for proper level ck. I've been in the auto and truck repair sector for 45years running a shop and if my mechanic would have talked to my customers the way this primidone did I would have fired him. I won't be going back. To the mechanic that worked on my truck...you would never make in the flat rate world.

I was recommended to come here for an alignment several years ago, and have since made it my go-to place for my vehicle maintenance! They're fast, extremely thorough, and very reasonably priced, and I plan to continue taking my vehicles to them!

If you need and love your vehicle like I do, this is the place to go. These are the people to trust if you like a good quality product, service, knowledge, and professionalism. The communication and callbacks with information on the status of my vehicle was above and beyond for most places, but the norm here. We have been taking our cars to Innovative for a number of years and always had a good experience when working with Bo. However, we recently took our van in, and it was extremey stressful and disappointing. This time we worked with Jake, who was incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. It's clear customer service is no longer a priority. After they had our van for 5 weeks, Jake was unconcerned and unbothered by the stress and inconvenience we experienced. His communication was extremely lacking and rude. It became apparent that we were not a priority and our past loyalty was not important when Jake made zero effort at rectifying the concerns we had. They had no interest in prioritizing getting our van back to us or even giving us a timeline for what we could expect. After 5 weeks we took it to a different shop, and will not do business with Innovative again.

Took my vehicle in for a scan to see why my shifting was off .. 2 hours later I get a call that I have a bill of $860.00 and the that was just to (change some wiring) I could not believe this and the worst part is that nothing got fixed they basically charged me that price to change a sensor that had nothing to do with the transmission . Thank you Innovative auto for the $860.00 to change a sensor that had nothing to do with the transmission

Absolutely amazing shop. After getting quotes from 3 other shops and having a horrible experience with 1 of those 3, this 4th shop, Innovative, easily stood out with their customer service and top notch communication and explanation of everything. I worked directly with Bo and he was always pleasant and kind. I, unfortunately, had trouble with my car 2 times. Both problems were unrelated, but Bo and his staff resolved the problems and were very generous with their time to solve the mysteries of my problems. I have taken my work truck to Innovative twice since they were recommended to me. Both occasions I walked away feeling I paid a fair price for the work that was completed and in a timely manor. I know in this day an age everyone wants instant gratification. But when it comes to car repairs sometimes it takes a minute to complete. If my truck needs repaired or maintenance again I will be going back to Innovative.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I strongly believe I narrowly missed an illegal $1,000+ upcharge by Innovative Auto Solutions (IAS), aka DQ, in Rio Rancho, NM. IAS missed a step clearly required by Honda TSP 16-002 CORRECTIVE ACTION Replace the starter and rotate the torque converter clockwise one bolt hole . They replaced the starter without rotating the torque converter. It would have taken 5 minutes more to do it right.IAS wanted to charge me $1,000 to correct their mistake because they would have to remove the transmission (?). I objected - they decided they could do it in 1 hour. I told them I would not pay anything, and do not plan to.I practically did backflips to mention the issue - Honda TSP 16-002. Honda has had this problem since 2013, so these people have probably done many dozens of these. I even provided a copy of the Honda TSP 16-002 before the repair. I mentioned it over and over and over:1. During my initial internet contact2. During my Appointment #1 scheduling3. When arriving for Appointment #14. When picking up the car at Appointment #15. When giving feedback for Appointment #16. During my Appointment #2 scheduling7. When dropping off the car for Appointment #28. I even suggested YouTube videos showing amateur mechanics completing the TSP.IAS repeatedly told me they had to remove the transmission. I was even told, in writing (I still have it and so does IAS), that Honda TSP 16-002 directs removal of the transmission. THE WORD TRANSMISSION DOES NOT EVEN APPEAR IN THE HONDA TSP 16-002 DOCUMENT.Bold-faced lie, via email, and I still have it. The transmission was supposed to take 5 or 6 hours to remove and would cost over $1,000. They completed the second appointment in just 1 hour. Did IAS find a way to remove and replace the transmission in 17% of the time?Neither DQ nor the mechanic would come out; they made their desk staff lie to me. Your staff spent 5 to 7 minutes in your office before realizing you were at a doctor s appointment. Suspicious?

Bo and his crew got my car in quickly and took care if it s needs. I have an OLD car and they could have chosen to recommend much more than was necessary. Instead, they gave me knowledge, fixed what needed to be done and were very reasonable.I highly recommend!! My 2006 Cadillac CTS that has regular maintenance started having a rough startup but otherwise ran fine and got me from A to Z, in fact had just driven perfectly to Espanola with no issues. I thought it may be the cold weather or might need a tune-up, so I was in Bernalillo and decided to have my grandson and uncle look at it. They then discovered that there was oil in the sparkplug area. An immediate concern for me as that is my only transportation. I decided to have the tow truck pick her up, I call her Maybelline as I am very attached too her. So she was sent to Innovative for a diagnosis and the mechanic was able to stop the oil leak to the spark plugs, and a gasket seal, only to have my car returned to me not able to stay idling and with no brakes that would not stop the car. All this for a whopping 1478.00. I am so stressed out and upset over this I have had contact with Bo and Marisol, and have asked to speak to the owner. He would have the two communicate back and to tell me I need to replace the engine. Nowhere in the invoice I was given was there a recommended engine replacement. They offered to do the engine for 15% off the total price of a used engine that would be a quote of 8000.00 on top of the almost 1500.00 I had already paid. I paid them in good faith for nothing but a car that came back totally disabled and now not drive able. I am a 69 year old single person that has Dr appointments almost once or twice every week. I only get SS and am even embarrassed to tell my family members that this happened to Maybelline.Never said I would drive my car to the ground, come on I'm a 69 year old woman and beside that you made her undrivable. Your job was to to correct the issue not make it worse. Dishonesty and blaming others is wrong especially in a business. You never discredit your customers ever! You find a way to make it right.

They quickly resolved the issue due to a defective part originally installed previously. There were no charges for the replacement, in fact I received a new set of wiper blades free for my troubles. The team at innovative is very professional, RELIABLE, and friendly. I found this business while looking for someone to service and repair my '57 Chevy. Surprisingly, it's difficult to find a business that still works on these old V8s and do so in a diligent, delicate manner. My Chevy is a classic and requires a degree of finesse, as some components are quite fragile. I was ecstatic when they got my old guy running and I will continue to use them as i restore this classic to life! I have taken two of my newer vehicles to them for misc repairs and have been more than satisfied with their prompt and more than sufficient service. I know I can count on them to give me honest feedback and take care of all my automotive issues. As a woman I've had unfortunate experiences with businesses trying to take advantage, and this is NOT the case with Innovative. Special thanks to Jake, who had put in so much work on my '57. These are local friendly people who i have personally known for many years while bowling. That being said they said they would give me a good deal when i had problems with my new vehicle. They did my oil change and diagnosed my problems. Said i needed new brakes, new shocks and struts, and a door assembly. They quoted me an outrageous price for the brakes and everything else was a bet steep too. I went to do everything myself because i couldn't afford it to find out I didn't need new brakes! The pads were 80% in front and over 50 in the back. not to mention the shocks were not leaking. The oil change was costly too with a cabin filter. I was a bet disappointed to see they also said my window needed fixed from the rock chips as they were already fixed if you looked at them.A local scam shop that does good work. Bo and Demos, i wish you good luck and hope everything goes good for you. Hated to write this review, but as friends I think it was deplorable.
