The staff are knowledgeable, and I felt like I was in good hands. As a single woman, there s always a slight fear of being taken advantage of. But I didn t walk away from this experience with anything but confidence that my car was well taken cared of. And I wasn t sold any services that I didn t need.

I had 1:30 appointment, scheduled one week in advance. After dropping my car off, I began to wait in the waiting area. After three and a half hours of waiting, the same person that took my keys asked if I needed help.I replied "I'm waiting for my car that had a 1:30 appointment."He responded "oh that's a drop off appointment. We're probably not going to get to it today."So after taking time off work to notget my car serviced, I will not be going to this Firestone again.

Took my car back on July 3rd 2023 to have a service done that Firestone Recommended "PCV Valve Replacement". They were unable to get to the repair that day, so I brought it back after the 4th of July Holiday. They ended up breaking the so-called PCV Valve off my car's Valve Cover and instead of telling me that they did this they tried to hide it from me while they searched for a replacement part. They had the car for over a week when I finally went in, and they tried to say that I must have taken the car somewhere else where they glued or epoxied the PCV Valve back on which was false and showed what little knowledge they have of vehicles. Turns out my car did not even have a PCV Valve that part they broke off comes attached to the valve cover from factor. After I got upset Kendra said they would take care of the cost of the part. The part ended up finally arriving after over a month and they replaced it free of charge. Update Jan 2024 my car started leaking shortly after getting back from Firestone. Since this is the car my daughter drives, I didn t notice exactly when the leak started but noticed a significant leak around Dec 2023. The leak began to become so significant that we were filling it daily. I had a trusted mechanic look at it to find out that the oil was coming out from under the valve cover and was told that when Firestone had replaced the brand-new valve cover, they placed two seals on top of each other and stripped out a bolt leaving half of the valve cover raised causing this significant oil leak in my engine. Luckily my trusted mechanic was able to fix their botched job before my daughter blew her engine while driving it. I should have never let a tire place mess with anything in my engine that was bad on me. I will never use Firestone again and have shared and will continue to share my experience with Family and Friends. I was completely shocked by their lack of communication, empathy, service, and skill set. If they can only handle tires, then they should not recommend services for other things. I was a longtime customer at this location and now will never return because of this experience.

I sent my 19yro daughter in to have a tire repaired figuring I could trust them, I have done all my business here for years. They told her she needed not one tire but two! I had her take it to another tire shop the guy said that was ridiculous and fixed the tire and said there was nothing wrong with the other tire that supposedly needed replacing!

This location is a joke with the new management! I made an appointment at 3:00 to service a low tire, after keeping it for 4 hours, I UBER d to pick it up before closing only to be told it would need to be kept over night! What!? Upon checking in, I was never scheduled on their books and I should have walked out then. The man behind the counter was unapologetic, never called to update and was unaware my car was in their possession. The lack of communication and organization is evident. Save your time and go somewhere else!

Took my car in to be worked on, they had it for a few days and upon picking it up found out my personal items inside the car were stolen. Management denied!! Wires were stripped and damaged from my 3rd party stereo. No sense of ownership from this store. I should have paid attention to the previous google reviewers before taking my car to this shop!! The previous reviews speak volume for themselves. 0 stars at best

I unfortunately blew out my tire as I turned into the plaza that this Firestone dealership is located! Fortunately although they were very busy, Jeff at Firestone was able to squeeze me in to replace the damaged tire! I expected to be there most of the day but it only took about 2.5 hours and the tire was reasonably priced! Service was excellent as well and I am very glad I got as able to have the repair done by such awesome professionals!

Manager was dishonest with me. On the phone he gave me a quote for checking on my shocks and struts. When I came into the store and he found that he could not sell me tires he put me off in the most rude of ways. I would not recommend this store!

Had an appointment today for an alignment and another concern about the vehicle shaking while braking. While explaining my concerns and issues going on the guy behind the counter was very smug and acted like the issues on my vehicle were not his concern and acted like I didn t have the cash to get my car fixed. I then told him to cancel my appointment because I have an appointment with the ford dealership to some preventative maintenance done on my car next week and I ll just have them check it out so I wouldn t inconvenience him at the Firestone. All I wanted was to have a safe running car for my wife and 2 week old at home while I m at work and had the cash to pay but I will not be treated like I can t afford it. I will not be doing business with Firestone and if I have to pay more at the dealership then that s what I ll do

After visiting the local landfill my tire pressure monitor indicated I was losing air in a tire. I pulled over located a nail and then quickly searched up the closest Firestone. Google search recommended the Firestone in Bernalillo.I called the store and spoke to Fred about my situation. He assured me that they would have me in and out in a reasonable time. I arrived at the store a few minutes later I disconnected the trailer that had previously been loaded with refuse for the landfill.Fred quickly got me checked in, a ticket made up on my car and into a bay for the tire repair. A few minutes later I recalled that I needed to have the oil changed as well and I asked Fred if he could add that to the ticket. He was quick, efficient and friendly; something hard to come by during Covid at businesses.In about an hour my vehicle had been fully inspected, my oil changed, and my tire repaired/balanced. I paid for my services and went outside to reattach my trailer. I was totally surprised to see that the technician had mounted the trailer to the hitch. Although I still needed to secure the trailer this was a nice touch!to Fred and your crew good job!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I can't say enough how awesome Art and his team is. My truck was overheating and needed brakes asap. I left me truck there for the weekend and Art kept in touch to give me updates. I needed my truck on Tuesday since Monday was a holiday. He and his team stayed after hours to have my truck ready and safe to drive. I am truly so grateful and happy that I came to Firestone. 10 STARS Services: Transmission, Brakes

Got a suspension inspection and this narly scrape on the bumper. Luckily it isn t chrome or painted. Very frustrating. I was going to get an alignment and suspension work, now I don t want to go back for the recommended servicing.

It was good although they did not fill the tires when they did they tire rotation so the tires still say they need air. They kept the vehicle all day from 9 am to 3 pm.

I made an appointment for a wheel alignment. I was told an hour to an hour and a half. It did take quite a bit longer than that which is the reason for the 4 stars but the service was great and they checked in on me every once in a while so I don't feel forgotten.

Brought my truck in for an oil change with an appointment. Mentioned that the tech would find an obvious AC issue under the hood when dropping it off, asked just to price it out. Still fully expecting my oil change to get done and an estimate at the most, I have to call after they already closed to find out they haven t even moved the truck. Found out they wanted to keep it overnight by calling after-hours and luckily getting someone who was still there.It takes 5 hours to give me an estimate and do the oil change? I m leaving a note on my vehicle for the staff to not even bother with it in the morning as it was parked outside in the lot and I m not comfortable with this location, I didn t consent to any of their agreements nor was I made aware of their liability policies for this instance. Avoid Firestone, I wish I saw the yelp reviews before making an appointment here would ve saved me not having a vehicle on a Monday morning before work.

Getting my A/C repaired at this location has felt like a fever dream. It began last summer when my system bit the dust, and I brought it in for diagnostics. I was able to enjoy cool air in my car again for the summer and thought it was all taken care of. Flash forward to this year and the system doesn t blow any cold air, or even operate for that matter. The issue began the day after the warranty for the repair expired, so all repairs would be out of pocket. Each time I arrived to the shop, a new representative had a new idea for what could be happening. I charged my system with Freon, waited 3 weeks to book ANOTHER a/c diagnostic, and then arrived this morning to be told that equipment is broken and I should ve received a phone call. $1,200 later Im left with a system that still doesn t work, a shop that does not contact me, and a car comparable to an air fryer in the desert heat. I understand the limitations of a skeleton crew, but communication and just a bit more of empathy or even expertise could ve totally made the difference. One of the most expensive, frustrating, and overall negative experiences I ve ever had at a repair shop. Thank goodness another shop was able to see me today, otherwise who knows how long this saga would ve gone on for.Service: Air conditioning

Had an appointment and was told would be a few hours which is understandable due to being busy however 6 hours with no follow up call is not ok. I finally called at 5 hours and was told it wasn't done and to be patient. Another hour guess by andFinally just went to go wait and when I got there my car was already parked. Asked how long it had been there ready and was told it was done a few minutes after you called. Why wasn't I notified when it was done? I have 3 young kids that needed to be home hours before. Unprofessional business.

I went into this location to have a flat fixed. I had an appointment for 11am. The person behind the counter was very unprofessional and rude. I asked his name and he said Art. He told me to leave the vehicle and they would get to it when they could. I asked well what about my 11 o clock appointment and he said that s just a time you can drop off vehicle. He said it could be a day or so to get to my request. Now I ve been a long time client of Firestone and the process he spoke of has Never been the case. With that response I will take my complaint to Firestone corporate office.

please do no use this place i took mi kia for fix ac and overheat problems, in my first trip my engine blowout due to over heat and the ac stop working, and they don t want to fix it again, lost almost 2000 dollars on that thing. don t waste your money going there , ( they don t have an a/c specialist the guy on the front desk told me and the manager confirm it)

I would give them minus 10 stars if I was able to. They got one star because I could not post this without it. I was given a rental car due to someone hitting mine. After leaving I discovered that the wiper blades had deteriorated rubber and were falling apart. I called the rental service who told me to take it to firestone or Pepboys. I work full time. I called Firestone in Rio Rancho to see if I needed an appointment, and was told no. and they told me that when I came in they would have to fill out paperwork and send it to the rental offices in Santa Fe, have them approved. They said they could not give a an estimated time it would take for this to happen. I was told I could go by to have them start the paperwork, leave and come back when they received the approval. I was able to go to the firestone in Rio Rancho on a lunch break. The manger was waiting on a customer so I was standing waiting patiently for them to finish. He then called me up and asked how he could help me. As I was attempting to explain the situation to him, all of the sudden he said " I am busy with this customer so you need to wait. He then told me I had to stay while waiting for any paperwork was being approved, and then stated he could not tell me how long I would have to wait after that to have the blades installed. I explained I was told I didn't need an appointment. He stated even with an appointment, this did not guarantee how long a customer would wait. Overall this manager was one of the rudest people working in customer service I have ever met! I called pep boys, they took the information over the phone and submitted the paperwork, then told me they would call when it was approved so I did not have to wait. I would not recommend the firestone franchise to any customer unless you enjoy people that don't care how they treat you!

Horrible. I set up an appt for 1030am for oil change and alignment. They said it would be about 2 hrs. Called 4.5 hrs later and was advised they were just taking it in the shop and they would call when ready. 5pm I decided to go over there and saw my vehicle parked inside. Went in and asked if my vehicle was ready. The guy told me I told you I'd call when ready. Then he said wait it is ready. I could not believe that I had not been called. 6.5 hrs later I got my vehicle.

Went for an oil change tire rotation and balance. When I went to pick it up I noticed the tires were in the same position as before. When I told them about it they lied and insisted it was done. I told them it was impossible and it needed to be done again. (Obviously I wouldn t want tires rotated twice) When they took the truck back to the bay they asked where the wheel lock was for my aftermarket wheels. Therefore the job obviously was not done. I told them I had wasted enough time and would like to pay for my oil change and be on my way. Very dishonest and unprofessional.Service: Oil change
