I give this place 5 stars because they fit me in the same day, no notice, to fix my broken shock on my lifted F-350, no questions asked. Then when it was done in shorter amount of time, instead of charging me the quoted labor, he charged me less, talk about integrity, honesty, and service. I think I'm ditching my old mechanic for this one, way better!! Definitely worth checking out, especially with that type of service, I'm sold!Update*** I needed some suspension work done and I went back because I love this place, plus no ones else has enough guts to touch a F-350, jk you need a really big lift and they have one here and the experience to boot. The wonderful guys here custom order the parts I needed to fix my bad boy and even were kind enough to give me a lift home, talk about service. Now, my F-350 handles like a beast again.

I've had 2 jobs done here since moving from out of state. The first was an add a leaf on my 2017 F150 and the second was installation of aftermarket headlights.Each time the job was done right and at a fair price.Chad and his guys are professional and the lady at the desk is friendly and courteous.Should I need to return in the future I am confident in this shop and highly recommend. I've tried other shops around the area and although some had excellent reviews their pricing was through the roof.Yeas, I recommend Big time 4x4.

These people are outstanding! The owners are absolutely lovely people. They are fair, they know their stuff, and they're honest. I have a new, local mechanic that I know I can count on and I'm thrilled! What a gem for Rio Rancho. :)

Complete nightmare, do not take any vehicle here. Poor communication, they hardly ever answer their phone. The owner and mechanic could not even get their story straight and who test drive my vehicle. Had Chevy 5.3 crate engine replace. They failed to even tighten the bolts on the skid plate. As soon as I left the lot engine light comes on. As I write this I m sitting in Payson Arizona with a broken bell housing they forgot to put all the bolts back in.Airbox was loose, and he failed to even put the radiator shroud back in properly. After spending $7500 I m not spending another $5000 trying to get a new transmission and the bell housing due to their faulty mechanical work.Service: Engine repair

Chad, the owner is great. He and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Very fair on pricing. You never get the feeling that they are trying to overcharge at any point. Such a great experience.

Big Time 4x4 has been working on mine and my family's vehicles since they've been in business over 15 years ago. No matter what problems my vehicles have the skilled technicians are always able to find the solution. The shop owner is an honest man who goes above and beyond to make sure we get taken care of. My time is valued here and I've always gotten my vehicles in and out of the shop in a timely manner. There's a reason this shop is so busy, it's because they're hardworking, reasonably priced and always looking out for the best interest of the customer. Big Time is my one stop shop, the one mechanic's shop I can count on.

I took in my truck for an alignment after Big O Tire fixed my upper control arms, but couldn t do the alignment for whatever reason. Anyways, I brought it in and Chad, informed me that Big O Tire installed the wrong control arms and one of the knuckles needed replacement.I highly recommend them, they are veteran friendly and that made me feel best. I informed Chad that I needed my truck repaired so I can leave it to my family during my deployment and he worked hard and fast to repair it. Drives amazing now. Thank you for fixing the mistakes that Big O Tire made

I had these guys do a major job for me in the past and they did an excellent job. However, my last visit didn't go so good. I identified the problem on my truck before taking it in, told the mechanic what the issue was. Mechanic said he would look into the issue I identified. The following day he informed it was a different issue and said the truck was fine as is. They charged me a few hundred dollars to do basically nothing. A week later, had a major failure on the truck which was what I had originally identified. I think they are too busy at this shop and cant handle the work load. My opinion is they are in need of a service manager.

What I love about this shop is that it reminds me of a good ol boy small town mechanic shop. Very personable and gritty.From A-Z, start to finish I had awesome service. I had a project that required a few trips in and the concierge service for drop-off and pickup was extremely helpful. Besides that, the work was done with care and perfection at a price I can afford. Thank you Chad!!

Big time has been around for nearly two decades and there's a reason for that. They're truthful and honest, not trying to overcharge you or suggest repairs that are unnecessary. Their prices are fair and reasonable, the owner was friendly and helpful, and my vehicle came back running great! Definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs a repair! Great local business!

I would not recommend this shop, either. The owner took a personal call related to his Direct TV for his home while first speaking to us, then said he would make a deal with us for one tire plus $40 as a credit towards other repairs. We came at the appointed time to pick up the car and he had not put the tire on - then charged us $48 for just looking at the car!! He had originally said the "look" was free. Will never go there again.

Fare prices, willing to talk to customers about mods. They've put leveling kit on my truck and a fuel pump in my car. Very affordable. Will be going back.

Did a great job fixing up my old Chevy truck. Excellent communication as they did the diagnosis, excellent turnaround time and very fairly priced for the amount of work done.

Owner is nice. Wife wants a step for my truck. So $1,400.00 just for steps and extentsion here. Wife likes to climb to heaven here. Sounds like the War of the Roses movie. Hope she never runs me over!

I agree with some of the other comments being that we felt like we weren't a priority at all. We kept receiving misleading statements and hardly ever got any updates on where they were at with my car. The job itself seems to be done well so far, but their customer service side of things was really disappointing. A job that should have took no more than 3-5 days took over 3 weeks! We've been to other shops in the area and this one has by far been the biggest headache and hassle.

Defiently my one place to go, the owner Chad was very helpful and was able to get my truck done less than a week. He also was more helpful with identity exactly what my truck needed to be fixed.

Well I've been around Rio Rancho a long time. I've seen the Orange 72 Blazer and some other nice rigs there. Unfortunately they are another blight on the Automotive technician world. They sold my brother an engine and fuel pump I'm sure it was thousands in repairs. Then I was floored to hear the first 500mile oil Change wasn't included... EVEN WORSE! The fuel pump failed... So after throwing their hands up and sayin' "ain't my fault" the boys there basicaly said tuff luck! So happy ending was that Amwrican Tire and Service on 528 who built that beautiful 1936 international which Floyd did the interior on... Yeah they threw a fuel pump in it so its all good now... Wonder if it needed an engine to begin with?

If you write a negative review on the Facebook page, they will delete your honest negative review and block you from making any further comments. It's unethical to rip people off to begin with but then to try & cover it up on top of that is insult to injury.

Fixed by wife's SUV quickly for a good price. You have to look for the place it, next to Pizza Hut, as there's no Big Time Sign.

Very unprofessional. Never answers the phone, or returns calls. Very forgetful. Did fix what we paid for. Kept giving us excuse after excuse. I would not recommend this place.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Screw this place, i wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone, false statements and bigtime screws everyone that walks in the door, tells me my truck is being worked on and its still behind the shop exactly where it was parked 2 months ago, owner lies thru his teeth as he smiles. BEWARE unless your looking for a place to park/store your truck.

Over priced owner lies to your face no problems with the work quality work just paid about a 1,000 more than I should of had to pay it to get my Jeep back tho almost 3 months waiting for it just to get worked one thank god it s all over with won t be going back long story short over priced and you are not of concern or importance to any one there
