I just wanted to see how much I appreciate this family owned shop in helping me with a low tire pressure issue last week. We were on a long road trip and had it not been for their help I think we would have possibly been stranded with a bad tire. With their help we were successfully able to get to our location and ended up finding out that I had a nail in my tire. Thank you so very much for your help and getting my family SAFELY to our destination. Keep up the great work.

5 stars feels like not enough to give to these people. I give six stars. I had a flat tire with a rental car on Thursday late night on the US 60 west of Quemado on our way to Albuquerque. With two kids in the car. Europeans first time travelling in this remote but beautiful region of the United States. They came and put our spare on - we drove to their location in Quemado and changed our tire. If things had not run so smoothly we would not have a place to stay in the town until the next morning. Both hotels were fully booked! Quemado will stay in my mind forever. Thank you!

They have a gas pump. Just one and the low grade is 86 octane which I ve heard is third world gas. Don t put lower than 87 in your tank. They do have the 88 though.

Wow! If you need your vehicle pulled out of the MUD with precision, call Jerry! He is amazing!! You can t teach my husband much, but Jerry schooled him on getting a vehicle out of the mud. About 4000 lbs of UHaul to be exact! Pete said that is a sight he will NEVER forget! God Bless you for your service!

We broke down (alternator failed) on the 117 on a Saturday. Robert at J&Y saved our butts with a tow into Quemado even though his shift had ended. Incredibly kind folks here.

Recently I needed a tire repaired and the people at J&Y took exceptional care of me. They were fast, courteous and charged a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them when you're in need.

Very cool people. I had a flat tire Quemado my vehicle does not have a spare. They didn't have a tire that fit my vehicle. Which is normal for my vehicle as I'm learning. They removed my flat tire so I could bring it back to Albuquerque. They stored my vehicle over night. When I came back the next day they put the new tire on. They did all of this with a smile and with out a charge. That was an awesome display of kindness.

Jerry and Yvonne were incredibly helpful when our motor died near the Arizona/New Mexico border. They are an example of what a good mechanic and business owner should be like. I do not know what we would have done without them. Even if you dont need a mechanic, I would stop here and get some drinks or snacks for the road and meet some of the most genuine, honest, excellent people.

Y'all. I can't say enough good things about this place. Jerry is an absolute expert, and his wife Yvonne is has great customer service skills. They are the kindest, hardest working small business owners weve ever encountered. We lived in the area for a short time, and delt with them quite a bit. Their prices are more than reasonable. Highly reccomed!

Couldn't recommend Jerry for any service you might need. He saved the day when he was able to get my van out of a snow bank. In all the excitement I left my phone in his truck and Jerry is mailing it back to me. The whole town of Quemado is an American treasure, huge thanks to everyone!

GREAT people, saved our day MANY times!! Helped my old trucker when nobody else would AAAA+++++ My husband hauled autos from Michigan to Arizona , and Jerry saved his trips various times! Great people who treat others with respect and never fail to go the 3rd mile when someone is in need of a friend, can't say enough for them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every year we travel through Quemado with our carnival and most years we have a truck issue. It's nice to know that the J & Y Auto Service team is always ready to help us! They are awesome people and have great prices. Thank you so much for the wonderful service! You guys ROCK! !!!!

In December 2000 I was traveling to Northern Mexico to ask my future father-in-law for my wife's hand in marriage. Late at night I finally let my roommate drive while I took a nap, only to be awoken suddenly when he plowed into an Elk. In the morning we got a tow into town where Jerry took pity on a dumb, broke college student and let me use his shop and tools. His father spent much of the day with me coaching me through the repairs. Jerry gave me the last parts I needed to complete the repair, and I mailed him a check later for the cost. I will never forget his kindness. I've carried around one of their window decals in my wallet for the last 18 years as a reminder to pay it forward. Now I have an amazing wife and six children, which Jerry unknowingly contributed to.Thank you!!!

This place has absolutely NO customer service. NO communication. Went in for a tire repair. I spoke to the receptionist, let her know what I needed.Didn't get much of a response. Waited around for about 20 minutes, then left.

Open later than most mechanic shops. For a small town, they have many parts in stock. They have experienced parts in stock. They have many new tires in stock and sell used tires as well for a good price. Employees are nice and respectful. They can fix chainsaws, weed trimmers, and generators. They are Stihl dealer and Napa dealer.
