Made an appointment for my son to take his permit test. We had snow. I called the office, no answer. I get a reminder from the MVD to check in to my appointment 10 minutes early. I get in my car in and head over to the office 17 miles away only to arrive 20 minutes early to a closed office. Thanks for being great communicators. Ugh.

I know MVD workers are generally known to be rude, but it shouldn t be that way and the Moriarty MVD is especially staffed with rude, often disrespectful people who shouldn t work in costumer service. Lady in my driving test talked to me like I was stupid the moment i entered the office, scoffed and acted dramatically as I drove, and talked down to me for asking questions, creating a stressful and uncomfortable environment for me despite me staying quiet and calm and saying nothing to her to make her so aggravated. Manager was also rude when I called later to ask why i was failed because the instructor hadn t told me. They won t be seeing me there again and others should consider using the MVDs in nearby towns instead of Moriarty s.

I had a very nice experience!I made my appointment online and the first time it was canceled for the weather issues so I schedule again. The ladies was very nice and professional! They was so helpful to me! I did needed some translate documents and they explain all details to make most simple possible after that all they don t require appointment to drop the documents so in 30 minutes after arrival I had my drive license!

They will verify your completion of pre-requisites, only to add more on the day of your actual appointment. And then they'll get upset with you for calling it out. Both ladies are incompetent.

This place wasted my time. I scheduled to register a vehicle from another state I get there and the lady says that she is the only person working and can t go outside for vin inspection then why schedule the appointment knowing that nobody will be in office that day. Complete Bull$hit and just lazy!!!

Staff not helpful. Just referred me to call MVD. I did, and I found out that MVD Moriarty should and could have taken care of my request, but it seems that they chose to refer people to call instead. They don't realize, but when they keep referring people to call or do online instead of actually working and assisting customers, they are eliminating their job. Hope they find a job after theirs is gone.

The customer service representatives at Moriarty MVD are by far the worst in the state. I have been to many MVDs and they were definitely rude and unhelpful. They are more concerned about leaving work then providing proper customer service. They roll their eyes if you don't have the right paperwork, because over the phone they don't tell you all the right information to bring in. They do not give adequate timing for appointments and try to rush you out the door instead of completing the tasks. I highly recommend you schedule yourself for two or three timing slots to get everything you need done.

We needed help for a sort of emergency everyone from the MVD to the police chief absolutely went out of their way to help us.

Very rude customer service this is the third time I have to remake an appointment. I can't keep coming back and requesting time off from work. I know I marked multiple tasks to be done. She said it's not in the system I have to come back. I asked to transfer it to Albuquerque. They will not let me I have to start the process all over. So once again I have to miss more work and come back. Plus still have expired tags

I had an appointment at 10:00 a.m. this morning I got there and checked in without my cell phone because you shouldn't need a cell phone to check into the DMV. After checking in and waiting for an additional 20 minutes, the manager Cassandra told me that if I was going to stand while I waited i had to do it outside. I am a 100% disabled Army veteran and could not sit in the hard plastic chairs but to her there was no excuse. I must stand outside and wait for my appointment that I've been checked into for 15 minutes and still waiting my turn because other people might want to use the chairs even though they're stuck sitting in the hallway waiting for their number to be called. After I confronted Cassandra about her suggestion that I wait outside in the heat she promptly printed out my ID and file and tried to conceal the fact that she did so. When I told her that I saw my file and wanted an answer she said that she had to report me to her manager because I was going to report her. I do expect someone from the Department of Motor Vehicles in Moriarty to reach out to me to apologize for this atrocity to an American Veteran.

Excellent service today with Amanda and the manager on duty. Appointment service helps make things much more efficient. Task accomplished today with a smile! When I called to make my appointment it was a quick process.

Everyone in this office needs to be retrained. They have no idea what they are doing, and pass their ignorance onto the customer.Having to make an appointment is understandable, but they treat the customers like a number, nit individuals. Even more upsetting, is that they do not bother to educate the customer. It's as if they think each customer knows how to do their job. This is why I think they all need to be trained. Only people who don't know what they are doing, (yet they PRETEND TO), treat customers as if they should already know everything.ALSO, it may seem small but, kindness is free. I understand that the workers may be frustrated because they have no idea how to do their job, but a smile, and admitting you don't know, goes a long way. It is ok to say, "I don't know", as long as you know how to find out. Rather than blame the customer, and making them feel bad for taking time out of your day...especially, when you are being paid to help.Seriously, what is wrong with this place? The MVD NOW, are contract workers and charge a little more, but its better to get it all done at one time, rather than having to go back several times because they tell you something new each time.

What's the point of making an appointment when the employees decide to head home early on friday? Got a phone call 1 hour before the appointment to cancel due to no employees in the office. My husband left work early to go to the appointment. Zero courtesy or respect for others.

Make sure to set the appointment for EXACTLY what you need or they will not see you at all. Be ready for a long wait outside, there is usually only one person working. Would be nice to at least have a bench to sit while waiting outside. Also the ticket system may or may not email your place in line, so heads up

I guess a person needs to be so lazy and have no pride to become a Moriarty NM MVD employe, what a shame and waste of taxpayers dollars. I had an appointment yesterday at 10:20 I walk in with five NM titles on hand, and there was no one inside or waiting after me. Guess what??? They told me they can only do one title per appointment so I had to make five appointments to change all my titles to my name screw that. I called the estancia New Mexico MVD. Cindy the lady on charge was so nice and take me in right away with no appointments She got all my titles done in about 20 minutes!!! That s the way to go I think they should close-down the MVD in Moriarty and quit Handing money to those employees they don t do anything for the citizens very shameful and frustrating

Very helpful and patient with my complex issue. System for appointments is somewhat confusing but I eventually got it squared away. You'll need a smart phone and they send you an email an hour before your scheduled appointment for you to check in and get your digital ticket and they come out and get you

Tried to get my real ID. Nowhere did it say I needed EVERY marriage license. Even though I had papers from social security showing every name that I've had from previous marriages they would not accept that. They have the power to deny you and they do. From denying you help to the power of having somebody open the door to let you OUT of the building. Another woman with the same appointment time was told she would have to come back, they didn't help her either! What a way to keep job security.

Best experience ever.. had a appointment was in and out fast no problem.. my appointment confirmation sent me links to find all the stuff I need for my appointment online... the door greeter came out right away ... she checked me in fast since I did not have a phone ... The ladies inside where extra nice and made sure to help me with my transaction... I definitely will come back to this MVD office.. all the ladies in this office need a raise .. they still manage to keep a smile even when being yelled at ..

This was the only place that we could get an appointment in the ABQ area due to covid waits. The person who helped me schedule was not correct about what I needed to bring, and told me my wife and I could use the same appointment time. Once we got there they wouldn't let her in. The person at the desk was helpful, but the "bouncer" was inflexible and rude. You have to have an appointment and then get a temperature scan at the door. They would not let small children in either.

I was very impressed with the staff at this establishment. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The system is set up so you can get in and out in no time! Highly recommended!

The ladies here are mean! Lol. I blocked off 3 appointments to get my affairs taken care of all at once after moving from out of state. 3 title transfers and a new trailer purchase. The lady that does the Vin inspections jumped all over me because my wife was right behind me with one of the cars. Needless to say, I only got one thing done in the total time of all my blocked out appointments. But hey, let's let the guy they obviously knew in line behind me go because he was there early. Terrible service. Wish me luck in round 2.

The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. They clerk informed that I could take care of some of my stuff online. The visit ended up costing less than expected and all was taken care. Great service!

People in here were lazy. Rather stuff their fat faces with donuts. Went today no customers were there, my appointment was for tomorrow. Literally just to drop off a check and a paper I already had filled out. Would have taken 1 minute and they couldn't put the donuts down.

This location will not answer the phone. I was instructed to call back within three weeks to inquire about my lien request and I can't get through. Though the employee I interacted with was not overtly rude, she had an off-putting condescending attitude and certainly took her time to inform me that I drove all the way to the office for nothing.Edit: Called daily for a couple weeks and someone actually picked up. The individual was very polite and helpful. Apparently you can get through, it is just unacceptably inconsistent.

I'm always amazed at how friendly and helpful the staff is in this office! I just renewed my driver's license what a breeze. A few months ago I registered a utility trailer, no problem!Don't blame the staff if you are not competent enough to obtain the paperwork required for them to do their job.

Unbelievable what these employees get away with, they claim everything to be policy but once you actually call Santa Fe and ask about said policy you will find out it's a load of bull. Don't appreciate being lied to and treated like Covid patient Zero. Disgusting behavior from these ladies, if they're so scared of catching Covid from us plebs that they only allow one person in at a time then they might want to start with wearing a mask, not one employee was wearing a mask, not one.

It's a hassle to get Internet work right for appointment but once in there the lady was wonderful. She has great social skills and an awesome personality. It was a great experience.
