We were traveling and had to make an emergency stop due to a wheel bearing that went out on our car. We got our car fixed within 2 hours since it was a mess of a bearing. Great customer service! We even got offered water and everyone was very polite and helpful. Great service and thank you so very much!

Can t say enough great things about Gems. Traveling from Ca to Tx and had an issue with my van coming out of alignment which caused my tires to wear flat. 4 hours from home in a small city I thought we d be stranded or have to risk limping it home. Gems treated us with nothing but professionalism and hospitality. Within 45 minutes they managed to get my steering straight, fix a previous mechanics mess with my tie rods and get us back on route. Fair priced and very knowledgeable mechanics. I wouldn t even look for another shop if you re having trouble in Moriarty. Thank you Gems

GEMS is just that, a true gem. Justin and team are professional, courteous, honest and prices are very fair. I recently had a bit of work done on my 04 Cummins Ram Truck and it runs and breathes better now than ever. Justin is a Cummins Wizard! He will explain everything. The man probably has Diesel Supreme oil in his veins. :- ) Seriously though, for all your maintenance and repair needs for any vehicle, for sure Diesel performance, look no further. I won't. They are my go-to shop from now on.

I totally recommend GEMS, especially for diesel vehicles. We were traveling thru Moriarty pulling our travel trailer with a Jeep diesel. The Jeep registered extremely high oil temp. I googled service center and we were blessed to be directed to GEMS. We had a bigger issue with Jeep than we thought so we were in Moriarty for 3 days. Justin took us in right away and had his crew on top of it. He kept us informed with each step. Justin let us "camp" in our trailer right on his lot. They even provided us with a loaner car. GEMS is a family business and Justin & Katelyn are the best. We will be forever grateful for them.Bless you Justin, Katelyn and your entire crew and Hailey too.

GEMS Complete Auto Care is without doubt one of the best auto repair places I ve ever gone to. They helped me in a dire situation in which I needed to get to California to see my family. Despite being busy they got me in at 9:00 am and out by noon the same day and resolved all the issues I needed taken care of to make my trip. They truly provided me World Class Customer Service and they have gained a customer for life. Recently, I had a multi-day camping trip that I had been planning for weeks. The day I was going to leave the house, I tied a few loose ends, got in the truck and tried to start it. NOTHING!!!! The lights came on....the a/c fan would blow, chimes would come on, but NOTHING from the starter!!! I called Gems and spoke to Justin. He suspected the starter had died and said if I could get it towed into his shop, he would get it in and replace the starter if that was the problem. I got the truck towed and into his shop with an hour left before closing. Sure enough the starter was bad. They got it replaced and got me to my camping spot...a few hours late, but still the same day and they charge a VERY RESONABLE price. NO EXTRA FEE for same day service, etc.Given the backlog of repair jobs and the shortage of qualified people, I can't say enough good things about Gems Automotive!!!AAA+++++!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

We had an issue with our boat trailer and they were able to repair it squeezing us in for the emergency repair. Everyone there is nice and extremely helpful. I can t recommend them more. They had us back on the road within the hour.

I highly recommend Gems! I had a terrible trip until I went to Gems. Just about anything that could happen to my truck and trailer happened. When the first thing happened I checked reviews and saw that all the places from where I was through NM were terrible. I called a place near Gems, but they only worked on Semi's so they suggested Gems and said they were honest and reasonable. So I called Gems low and behold they had the exact part my Truck needed . Unfortunately on the way there, many other things happened causing my 2-hour drive to Gems became a 4-5 hour adventure. We made it right before they closed and they were still willing to work on my truck . They were very kind and understood that I had 3 horses, 4 goats, my daughter, and my dog with me so they got my truck in running shape within 30 minutes . Sadly (not Gems' fault) my truck decided it wasn't completely ready yet so we stayed the night in town and went to Gems in the morning. They fixed that problem and discovered another one that could have seriously injured us or killed us had we continued driving. They made sure we were safe and sound to continue our trip. I can't thank them enough for taking the time to look over everything so my daughter, myself, and my animals arrive safely at our destination.

Amazing customer service. They Care about there traveling customer. The owner and shop employee treat you with respect and dignity. They talk to you, not down at you!!!!My truck broke down on a Saturday morning. I was left stranded by 2 mobile mechanic in Clines Corner NM with a trailer full of horses. After being towed twice. One shop being an epic fail. Due to the treatment the head mechanic gave me and my mechanic up north. Plus the choice words that I was called. My truck was immediately towed to Gems. They diagnose my truck that day. [Fuel pump] I got it fixed in a couple of days and now I'm back on the road with my horses, 2 dogs, and my RooRooI Highly recommend Gems! There professionalism was outstanding. The repairs were done in timely fashion. The cost were fair for being out in no-mans land Thanks Again!!!Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance

I took my truck to gems for a diagnostic and they failed miserably. I asked for guidance on how to proceed with repairs specific to the trucks running condition. They did not address how to correct the main issue of a vibration from the engine. Instead, they talked about peripheral issues that needed attention, but not what would fix the main problem. The mechanic quoted a code that was unrelated to the trucks main problem and was not specific on how to resolve the code he was concerned with. If you want to waste a lot of money while this shop guesses what is wrong, then this is the place. If you want a strong recommendation on how to effectively address your automotive repair needs, then go someplace else.After reading GEMS response, I replied the following. I had another mechanic redo the injector cups and the truck now runs perfectly. The transmission and rear end were not touched. In addition, the turbo wheel they wanted to replace looks fine.

I have had several oil changes, transmission services, and shocks installed on my truck. I ve purchased tires there as well. They are always accurate on their VERY fair pricing, and the work is always completed when promised! Driving cross country from South Carolina to California. When our 2001 Chevy Suburban broke down with a failed Alternator. My first fear was how much money will I get taken for on this repair. Although I usually do all my own repairs myself without my tools I had to use a automotive mechanic. Luckily we were just a mile from the next exit in Moriarty, New Mexico. I called AAA which they set up Tavenners tow service to help us out. The driver was efficient and picked us up within an hour. While we were waiting for the tow truck I scanned google maps for an auto repair shop near my location. That's when GEMS Complete Auto Care popped up. They are simply amazing! I have no regrets using them. Not only did the tow company recommend them, but true to their promise they're honest, and more then fair priced on parts & labor. Although their estimate was still acceptable to me, to my surprise the actual cost in the end was only half that price. They also had me back on the road before 8am the next morning. They're an A+ class family business. My wife really connected with Kaitlyn the owner. If I'm ever in the area and need automotive work I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Very happy with their work. On a recent trip to Colorado we stopped at Clines Corners for fuel and a restroom break. As we pulled out of the parking lot I noticed the temperature gauge climbing and thought "this can't be good". Opening the hood, I could see that coolant was being expelled from the coolant reservoir. As we were limping along towards Albuquerque my wife was digging on the phone for someplace to stop. Gems had some good reviews so we stopped there. They started working on the car immediately, replacing the thermostat (which made sense to me). Once the repair was done, we headed north towards Santa Fe when I noticed that the temperature gauge was rising again.Returning to Gems, it was decided that the water pump should be replaced as well. Since the water pump had to be ordered from out of town an overnight stay was required. Fortunately there is a very nice hotel just a short walk from Gems. The next day the new water pump arrived, and was installed, and off we went. We were pleased with the quick, friendly, and competent service.

I brought my 2014 Forester here with issues with my oil pressure sensor. If there is ever a way to test the honesty of a shop, it's bringing a Subaru in with oil issues. They diagnosed it as a new sensor, so that and an oil change I was ready to go. They could have easily said I need all new gaskets, seals, you name it but they were completely honest about the repairs needed. As a result, they gained a customer for life!

We are just traveling through and started having issues with our fuel system. We have to be back to CA by Monday, so breaking down on a Friday was not ideal. Gems got us in right away, had us diagnosed, parts replaced, and back on the road in just a couple hours. They were super friendly and helpful. 100% recommend!

This place apparently has consistently great service and we were in need of new batteries for our rental RV. We were in transit from Arkansas to the Grand Canyon and they worked us in on short notice ! Friendly, offered a warm waiting area and had us back on the road in no time flat! Thanks so much y all! GEMS get a 5 star rating. Superb service and communication! Very highly recommended!

Honestly the best customer service I ve ever experienced with a mechanic shop. Extremely friendly workers, honest and real diagnostics, and have so much room for growth in their area. Great family owned business, very friendly and professional. We were on our way to go skiing in Colorado when we had issues with our truck. Waited at another shop for an hour and nothing got done, left and went to Gems. We were greeted right away, they had all the parts and got us back on the road within the hour. EXCELLENT!: Professional, HONEST, Responsive, Knowledgeable, & Fast! After 3 other local shops tried to charge me thousands more for problems my car didn t have & get to it weeks later, someone recommended Gem s.
