Chad & DJ at Coast2coast were so helpful. we ran out of gas on the side of the highway and good Samaritan tried to help us out by giving us gas that ended up being diesel. We got 4 miles to Lisa s gas station and the car wouldn t start. they towed our Bronco to the shop they drained the fuel & replaced the spark plugs. we are so grateful to them!

We were traveling from Texas to Albuquerque when our truck started misfiring out side of Moriarty. We got it towed to Coast to Coast and told them exactly what the problem was. They insisted we were wrong and said the only thing wrong was the spark plugs needed replaced. They took 3 hours to replace spark plugs insisting nothing else was wrong and sent us on our way. Less than 20 minutes later our truck was misfiring again with the check engine light on. Coast to Coast refused to accept our calls or return them. Luckily we found a shop in Albuquerque that could see us and after looking at it for two minutes they found that the problem was in fact exactly what we had expected and told Coast to Coast. On top of them charging us 500 dollars to not even fix the problem most of the employees were rude, lazy, and ran their mouths more than they actually worked. Extremely disappointing.

This is a bizarre response. I never complained about your shop. I was appreciative of the tires I got in 2020. I also liked the manager at that time I think his name was Robert. So I have no idea where you got my negative review. 1 star is all that showed when I swiped left. I don't own a trailer I wasn't there 3 months ago! Please delete this answer.

Our diesel F250 broke down on the 2nd part of a 3600 mile road trip. We broke down between Albuquerque and Amarillo and still over a thousand miles from home. They got us in right then and prioritized our vehicle to get us in and out on the same day. Excellent customer service! Excellent pricing! The best auto/diesel repair shop we could have hoped to find! Thank you so much!

I was traveling through and my sprinter van broke down. Coast to Coast was the only folks in the area with the knowledge and ability to get me back on the road. Three other mechanics including a mobile disel mechanic were not able to help. The staff at Coast to Coast are professional and very friendly. I will definitely come back to them for tune up and any custom needs I have. They are absolutely the best shop in New Mexico

My son's car broke down just outside of town. Coast 2 coast worked to get him back on the road, the cost was less than I expected and they helped make him comfortable while he waited. They went above and beyond.

I was driving to Albuquerque from Dallas on fourth of July weekend when I noticed my car felt a bit sluggish. I was able to make it to Coast 2 Coast where they ran diagnostics and looked at my car. I was very happy and satisfied with their effort and everyone I encountered were amazingly nice and also funny. The pricing was very fair. Lastly, their shop is pretty cool and has a lot interesting car products. Definitely would come again if I need to or lived in the areaServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

They had the balls to test if they could be racist with me -before they collected payment. While I was there a woman with her arm in a sling vocalized that she didn't want the manager to squeeze her. I'd sure be screwed without the tech's incredible work, though.

I do not recommend them, they are not qualified to do the job, I have had the car in the workshop for more than a month and they cannot fix it, they just say that they do not have enough staff and they keep jumping me, look for another workshop

I was 1st introduced to this shop because I needed an appraisal of my 1967 Ford truck. They expressed interest in working on the truck. So what I asked to be done was as follows:Get the truck running and driving.Fix the brakes completely.Remove the fuel tank and flush it out.Flush brake lines and replace them as needed.New master cylinderNew fuel pumpTurn or replace all drums.Replace all brake shoes.Rebuild the carburetor if needed.Replace the air filter. The front brakes were never touched. No drums were replaced to trunnedNo receipts were provided for replacement parts for warranty issues.Fuel Pump is still leakingThe fuel tank was never removedThe brakes are now not working.

I would not recommend this place!! This is what they did to my 2001 Dodge pick up when replacing the motor this is what they used to seal it after I provided a gasket set to them and they used this it did not even seal it completely. I had to re do the entire job again because this is the kind of work that they did. This was found after the owner of the shop came and inspected the work that was done himself. It has been nothing but problems since vehicle was taken to this shop and to be honest the old motor ran better and I had less issues.Services: Engine repair, Transmission replacement

Good people, good mechanics. On the way to Arizona I broke down 1200 mi. from home on I40. Less than an hour after that I was towed into their lot, kind of expecting to get taken advantage of because of being over a barrel. I couldn't have been more wrong. I was met with honesty and sincere concern for my situation.Their estimate was fair and they stuck to it. My son is a mechanic at a dealer and he confirmed that they were spot on and that is about what He would have to charge. The only negative thing was due to having a transmission shipped in, which was going to be at least 7 days, so we continued on our trip in a rental. When we got back to Moriarty the part had not arrived and had to wait a few more days and a few more for the work to finish. Which wasn't all that bad, as everyone in the town was very friendly. This shop doesn't need to gouge customers to sell more work, they are very busy and must be well known in the area. They work on high performance cars as well as ma and pa cars. They met my needs and then some.My special thanks to Robert and Darin who I now consider my friends.Service: Transmission

Coast to Coast have been a trustworthy and valued mechanic shop for years. From the owner, down to all of the employees, they know the automotive service industry. Whatever the issue they will get you taken care of. Reasonably priced, and much cheaper than the dealer!

I called to see if they had a tire for my car after sitting at JR s Tire and Auto Parts for about 2-3 hours waiting for someone to show up to open the shop. They said they didn t have it in stock but were able to get one in that same day and come out to me to get my tire replaced and get me back on the road.Super friendly and very professional. I would 100% recommend going here if you have any issues while passing through.Service: Tires

While traveling from Texas to Washington state, our vehicle broke down and the staff at Coast2coast were super friendly and helpful. They got us up and running quickly, on a holiday weekend no less while every other auto repair shop was closed. Great experience!

Very unorganized and does not keep appointments for vehicle appraisal inspections.Read for context. I called Friday, July 8th and asked for an appointment for a vehicle appraisal inspection. I was told that they had a few to do and they will scheduled a time to get them all done. The service writer took my name and number. I was then informed that if I did not hear back by Monday to give then a call. I did not receive a call so I called back on Tuesday, July 12th and was told that they will place me on the list and if I did not hear back by Friday, July 22, to give them a call back. I still did not hear back so I called the office on Monday, July 25th and asked what was going on. I was told that they could perform the vehicle appraisal the fallowing day (July 26th) at 10:00am.I work during this time so I had my wife re-schedule her day so she could take the vehicle to the appointment. She arrived 5 minute early and checked in. She waited for 30minutes (10:25am) and was told that something came up and they could not do the inspection.I called the office and was told that the manager was the only one that could due the inspection and he was not there. The man also stated that he did confirm it with his manager when I called the previous day and everything was good to go. The man was unable to contact the manager via phone. This shop may be a good place for automotive repair but their customer service that I received was unexceptionable. If you are looking for a vehicle appraisal I would not recommend this shop.I have an appointment at Rich Ford in Albuquerque and I am hopeful that they are better then Coast 2 Coast.

My friend and I were on a road trip cross country and we had a red warning light turn on on our Volkswagen. We swung in an hour before closing on the hopes to get this checked out to see if it may be serious. The guys there were obviously busy but still took time to check our vehicle out. We didn't end up getting any service from the shop since everything checked out on their scanners but they're quick and friendly service left an impact on us. If we did need service I wouldn't doubt it would be fantastic. Thanks for the help guys!

I honestly don't have a single good thing to say about this company. I was so devastated by them. They were so incredibly unprofessional and rude. I broke down and got my vehicle towed here. I was trying to get to California from the east coast for a family emergency. After a few days of them not being able to fix what was wrong I had to fly to California for my family emergency. 6 weeks I was without my vehicle having 3 small children with me. Every day I called to get an update and every day I was told something different. I got fed up with excuses and flew back. The night before I arrived they told me they tried to test drive it the day before and it had another problem magically. So its not ready again. Once I got there I took it to a dealership. They fixed it in 2 days. Every problem that was wrong with it was something these people broke or put on wrong. So there was $2000 i didnt have because my warrenty company wouldn't fix a workmanship problem from another mechanic. So I drive it to California to pick up my kids and finally go home. Well it broke down again in California. I took it to another dealership. So here I am again fixing an even deeper problem from them. My warrenty only covers part of this one so here is a few more thousand dollars. Please do yourselves a favor and get your vehicle towed to a different place. Maybe they are capable of changing oil and rotating tires but major engine work is not something they are good at.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

These guys are so awesome! We had some vehicle issues and went to them to get our wheel bearings replaced and they went so fast above and beyond... Robert and his awesome wife Becca drove like 80 Mike's to pick us up and tow us back to the shop... Meeting then was lit erally the best thing that came out of the state New Mexico!! All the guys that work here are genuinely great people. Thank you guys so much!!

They are friendly and doing right by my husband and I so far. Friendly and willing to work with you. They have done a great job so far for my husband and I and have been very patient with us on our vehicles needs. The boss himself has helped us many of times with different decisions on what we need for our vehicle and hasn't tried to price gouge once. Very fair and yes I would recommend to others. Thanks guys for all your help and understanding.

Good service and people. Quickly diagnosed and ordered the necessary parts to fix my truck and were able to fix same day (morning drop off and they fixed ahead of schedule) on what can normally take a day and a half. Shop around if you like but you will be treated fairly here.

Please Beware. They took months (I am not making this up) and three transmissions, and still did not fix my car. I am a very patient person and tried to give them the opportunity to fix my car. They recently told me it was finally fixed. I went to pick it up, and they told me that it was a "Japanese transmission" so the RPMS would be higher. They also told me that I would have to shift it from low gear to high gear because of this. I know enough about cars to know that if you have to shift an automatic transmission something is wrong. Sure enough, there was no first gear or fourth gear. They were just trying to cover that they still did not have my car correct. They made lots of excuses about receiving bad parts and they would do everything they could to make it right. They had been telling me this for 9 months (yes, I told you I was patient.)They will tell you that they value your business. They will tell you that you are very important and that "they will make it right." If that was the case, it would have been fixed, and it would not have taken over 9 months. They agreed to give me a partial refund since they had put in other parts and services to get it fixed. I took my broken car back and took it to a transmission specialist. The 2nd opinion, shame on me for not asking for this sooner, let me know that not only is the transmission bad, but there are also now two broken engine mounts. Those were not there before.I tried everything I could to trust a local business. I gave them plenty of time. As I said before, BEWARE.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Amazing mechanics! Very knowledgeable, amazing hospitality and genuine as can be. I recommend this place to anyone who needs mechanic work done. They are backed up most the time but they still do their best to get you in and out the door at a fair and reasonable price. Amazing outfit.

They didn't work on my vehicle but if their craftsmanship is half as good as their customer service then they need someone x stars. I would recommend anyone near or far to go to them. I was also informed that the have two new locations one in OKC and the other in Alabama. Definitely worth going out of your way to see these guys

Not a real hot rod shop, not real mechanics. Told me 2 days for repairs, then it turned into a week, then they said my parts were done. But when I got there, the parts were not finished and they had damaged the new parts they were installing. Not only was the job incomplete, but I had to buy all new parts and go to another shop to have the work performed.Service: Steering & suspension repair
