I am originally from Colorado but moved here recently. I had to take a greyhound bus to get from Grants to Colorado to get a uhaul. It required me to park SOMEWHERE!! Naturally, I parked on the SIDE of the chevron gas station with no tow signs, where the greyhound stops through. It was a 14 day trip. When I came back from Colorado in the uhaul my car was gone!!! I was told by chevron that they towed it two days prior, however every tow place stated they did not have it. There was no paperwork, my car was GONE! I PHYSICALLY had to go to the police station and report my car stolen. It was found by a officer at this location. They illegally managed to get my car towed from a spot that had no tow signs, they were able to get my car towed by a company that doesn't technically "do" towing from what I gathered from the company name, and I had to pay for it. I had 150 bucks to hold me over and 140 bucks had to go to this company, ad now I haven't eaten in almost a week. I don't care how small a town is, that was illegal. My car was stolen and I had to pay CASH to get it back. WELCOME TO GRANTS/MILAN!

This was my saving grace! If it had not been for this family owned company I would still be walking. Not only did they pick me up they took me to a hotel. His wife took me in her own car to run around and get things done. Then they cut me a deal on the price. If all company's could be do nice the world would be a better place.

I live maybe 4 miles from their business or less and they want $150 to change a flat tire. Ridiculous! So my tire remains flat until I find someone more decent to change the tire. I have a pick up truck, not a semi.

My friend s daughter is currently stuck after hitting black ice and ending up in the snowy median. An Old West tow truck stopped out of kindness. He was not called. He saw someone in danger and stopped to take care of another human being. THAT is humanity, not to mention fabulous business. When a business treats others in such a kind manner, it certainly catches attention. Clearly, I would use and recommend this wonderful service. It is obvious that their mission is to help people. Thank you, Old West!!

This morning, 1-13-2019 at 8 a.m. my daughter hit black ice in Pueblo Acoma, NM on I-40. After hitting guardrails, etc. she was spun into oncoming traffic on the opposite side of I-40. Her pick up truck was disabled. No one would help her. She sat in her truck for 3 hours. We called our AAA membership for help. AAA sent no driver. The police didn't come. The temps were in the 20's. A driver with the Old West Wrecker Service was on I-40 and just happened to come upon her and her disabled truck. Seeing her distress and out of the kindness of his heart and wanting to help another human being, he stopped and asked her if she needed help. He towed her truck which had her 2 dogs in it and her to a dog friendly hotel. I am beyond grateful for this Good Samaritan. Thank you so much to the driver and Old West Wrecker Service for helping my daughter.

I got hopelessly stuck in the mud road between El Malpais National Monument and Pie Town, and these guys came and pulled me out! I don't know what I would have done without them. Cordial, punctual service and they were so professional throughout. They even pulled me to the nearest road. While I don't recommend driving that road if it has at all rained if you have less than a 4x4, I do recommend calling these guys if you ever get stuck!

Our truck had broken water pump and shredded belt in May and we costed into Lagua, which was closed due to covid, but the gas station was open until dusk and it was late in the day! We call our insurance which included a towing service. The service could not help us, but could get our truck in several hours and take it to ABQ, the opposite of where we were heading! So, we called Old West Towing and they took care of everything. They towed the truck and trailer and even took us to a hotel in Grants! The truck was fixed before noon the next day. They priced the tow, parts and labor very fairly and did not charge any extra. They were very personable, professional and had the expertise to fix the problem, which has turned out to be a recall!
