Horrible place to stay. Really sad, since they use to be so nice. Obviously, they are cabins but there is no excuse to be downright dirty. Cobwebs everywhere & they have been there so long that they are covered in dirt. Whole place is filthy, couldn t even clean the sink where the soap dispenser was. It was bad enough that we had to cut our trip short by a day, because we could only find accommodations in Alamogordo for one night.

Best place in the mountains to drop your trailer or rent a cabin. Very pet and child friendly unlike 90% of the places up here. It's quiet, set up against the national park, has the best rates in the area and the owner, Cody, is one of the best people in these mountains. Could not be more happy with our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone any time of the year.

Stayed here in Mid April 2019 during the off season on our honeymoon. The cabins are "True Rustic" from the squeaky floors, lacquered walls and wood fireplace. There is a gas furnace that kept the cabin very warm in addition to the wood fireplace. Plenty of supplied pots, pans, cookware, dishes, toaster, coffee maker. We did bring our own coffee press. Cody was very responsive to our requests and great at offering information on local restaurants, shopping and convenience stores. We will stay here again.

Had an awesome time here. The cabins are a great size. They have what you need for a great view, quiet location and lots of fun. Met the owner. He is such a great person and friendly. Wants to make sure you are happy and comfortable while here. It is an amazing spot to stay.

We rented a 2 person room/cabin. Excellent price, and in a beautiful location. We've been there 3 or 4 times in the last 8 years. The rooms are clean and simple. Cody the manager is a great person to work with and talk to in general. I highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome, my husband was working around that area. Went to visit him for a week. I highly recommend this place. Cody is very kind and friendly. The cabins are very nice though but in winter even though it has a chimney the rooms and restroom are very cold. The scenery was beautiful.

We have stayed twice at Lazy Days in our Coleman Pop-up once in October and recently over Memorial day weekend. What a wonderful place......Cody the owner was helpful and friendly. The setting in the mountains of Southern NM is beautiful, wooded and quiet. All you could ask for. Beautiful at night without city lights to drown out the stars. Thankful to find this little hide-a-way. The grounds are well keep and the location close enough to Cloudcroft and Alamogordo to see some sights but still have the peace of the Mountains. What a great place!

We needed a place to stay at the last minute and Cody came through! We really enjoyed our overnight in Cabin 2. Very clean and welcoming, will definitely be back! Due to covid the contactless check in/out worked amazing! Thank you!

This place is nice and quite. We have been here twice the last two yrs and really loved spending the night. The room is clean and nice view of mountains. And you can't beat the friendly owner. Cody will stop and chat with you and will answer your questions about the area. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for your hospitality Cody :-)

Just spent days there for our 4th of July get away. Have been here before and we keep coming back because of a few things. First, Cody is just an amazing person and wonderful host. Second, the scenery is just great and lastly, we have everything we need for a relaxing time. Far away from the town of Cloudcroft to get away from the busy side but close enough to spend a day shopping in town. It's peaceful and quiet and again, the host makes a big difference anywhere you go and Cody is amongst one of the top hosts out of all the places we have been.

Affordable prices, surrounded by National Forest on one side and Lane Ranch (lots of horses and rolling hills) on the other, you can't beat this RV park when you want to escape. We've been coming here for 3 years and have always been treated very well by the owner Cody. We travel in a class A motorhome, the sites are plenty large for any size rig, and they have full hook-ups.Both Mayhill and Cloudcroft are a short drive away, and there's plenty of National Forest hiking all around the area. We even drove down to Alamogordo one day to stock up on supplies and hit White Sands National Monument! Best part is when we drive up the mountain and return to camp we're greeted with much cooler temps and the regular visitors outside our RV (the deer). Pretty cool spot for sure!

Little dated, but clean. Owner, Cody, is FANTASTIC. Motorcycle broke down pulling into property. Cody went above and beyond helping us out...loaning us tools, jack, the whole bit. Great stopover for a moto trip!!

Dog friendly, owner is awesome, beautiful views & very clean. I am a little bit of a germophobe so was a little worried about staying in a cabin but it was very clean. We definitely will go back again!

Gorgeous scenery and Cody is a great host. We always enjoy our stay and even try to have a little family get together there every year.

Our cabin was located next to the communal septic tank which was vented into the air with no attempt to suppress the odor. The cabin itself was what I would call 50's rundown. Cheap ugly furnishings, rusted pipes and water stained walls.

Loved the peace and quiet! The mattress is the best! It's so nice to find a place that is pet friendly that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Thank you for that!

Best rv spots in the cloudcroft, mayhill area. Cody is the best host and goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed. So i guess that's why we come every summer

We love this place. We chose to have the smaller cabin. Our toddlers have their travel beds and it works out okay.

Always love this place, owner is awesome, very relaxing, nice set up and a huge area to cook, eat and hang out with kitchen abd outdoor patio, always come here. Beautiful.
