My new favorite stop on my trips to quemado. Lunch and breakfast burritos are perfect. They even take the extra step of wrapping them in parchment paper to keep the tortilla from getting soggy. Who doesn't love a green Chile burrito with just the right amount of filling and a good kick of heat? Facilities are also very clean and welcoming. Thank you for caring about me, the customer in all that you do.

This gas station (and store) are such a gem on the way from Abq to Very Large Array.The store at the gas station is very well equipped and clean. The staff very friendly, polite and helpful. They also offer some warm foods, if you re hungry. I didn t try, so I can t attest to the quality.The gas prices are typically higher than at the highway. That s due to the remoteness of the area.I d visit again!

The usual, basic food mart with a solid gas station outside. Very nice lady managing the early morning hour shift. I stopped in a 5 am and she had a smile and gentle attitude. Nice.

Nice place for a quick pit stop. Clean bathrooms and a nice building. Very pleasant staff.

The Steer Stop is a one stop shop for all your needs! They have the best homemade burritos. I eat about 2-3 of them a week, and I even own a restaurant but still crave these. Staff is beyond friendly and always helping out of towners and have become guides of Socorro County! They have a good basic selection of frozen meat, produce, which saves the locals a trip to Socorro.

Stopped for gas. Room for our motorhome with our tow. Lady working in the store is very nice. Clean place and they have homemade burritos, which were awesome. Don't usually get meals from a gas station, but this place was worth it.

This place far exceeds the low standard of quality offered by most other similar places on our travels. The squeegee and windshield washer fluid are first class. The bathrooms were clean and functional. The gas receipt actually printed. The Steer Stop might be another reason to visit the interesting town of Magdalena.

We stopped here on our road trip and had some hot and delicious green green chili chowder that tasted like home cooking. Bathrooms were clean. We we're lucky that this was the place we chose for a pit stop!

This is a great stop on a road trip, the bathrooms are nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly! They have a lot more food items than a typical gas station as well! I highly recommend you stop here, and not wait for someplace less inviting!

The only place in town to get produce. Nice and clean convenient store. Their best contribution to the town was just opening up and charging normal prices for gas. Prior to that the only gas station in town was really gouging the locals with high gas prices. Competition works. Bravo Steer Stop.

Solid place to stop heading west from Socorro. The gas has occasionally cheaper than Socorro. They also have fresh produce.

Impressed they have fresh vegetables, meats, and fruit. Good spot to stock up on camping food. Clean bathrooms too
